I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience. I went to Bella West Salon 7/3/2026 hoping for long butterfly layers. My hair was past my waist. I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience. I went to Estefany/Stef for my hair, I paid $320 for "balayage" and she gave me something completely different, my hair is 6 different colors and the blending is the worst I've ever gotten, she said she could fix it but kept changing the days & at this point I don't trust her with my hair so I asked for a partial refund so I can go somewhere else to fix it which she declined. As you can see , my hair got completely fried and she said it wasn't due to the hair bleach because she only used 5 & 10 Vol developer, I of course know that anytime bleach is used damage comes with it but she definitely left it on for too long and refuses to take any type of accountability. So I have gone to this salon for hair and nails. This salon has been around for years and I had always heard good things about it. I'm not going to name names so I suggest you choose your Beauty professional wisely. I went to someone in the private suite for my hair on 4 different occasions. The salon is beautiful and my hairstylist was cool and did a good job. I just felt when scheduling she didn't offer enough variety of appointment slots so I stopped going to her. I was still looking for the "right fit" for me after going to the same hairstylist for 8 plus years. For my nails here I went to the same person for over a year. In the main salon when you walk in they greet you and offer you beverages and snacks and that's awesome. I really wanted to have a positive experience with my nail tech. Sometimes we had great conversations and I liked her. Unfortunately my experience got progressively worse. My nail tech was late often over 20 minutes regularly. Once the owner was sitting in her chair getting her nails done when my appointment was supposed to begin. I thought that was pretty poor customer service! My nail tech was often stressed, on the phone, getting up during appointments, talking to everyone around, focusing on her new side business that had nothing to do with beauty industry. Not giving me the customer service and attentiveness I wanted, this also made appointments take hours, on my day off from work. It was far from relaxing and pampering. It was also not a clean or organized station. My nails were cute but a few times they began to lift and became painful, they didn't always last or come out like inspo photos. During last appointment my tech actually had food under her nails from eating before my appointment not washing her hands. Most of the time It honestly felt like maybe she just didn't like me because she seemed annoyed at my appointments ‍ Or perhaps she's just "over" doing nails. When I messaged her about my frustration at the late appointments or not replying to my messages, rather than apologize she made excuses then a post on her IG about "thank you to all my understanding supportive clients for sticking with me etc." and I knew she was talking about ME for not sticking with her lol. I always noticed the nail tech next to her was very professional and on time, not booking back to back, clean station, attentive to her client, beautiful nails. I really wanted that type of service because this is a luxury and I don't mind paying for excellent service. The salon environment here is a bit "toxic salon culture". Most of them are friends and some will gossip about each other and clients if they go somewhere else or stop going to them etc. Which is why I never tried to book with another professional there. I thought about booking with nail tech next to mine but they are friends and didn't want the drama. I now go to a completely different salon with the customer service I was looking for. read more

Says it was my fault cause I didn't take of my hair when I left I basically had no baby hairs left. Doesn't make sense Gave her the benifit of the doubt, went this last time with wanting to match my natural hair color, which is more on the clear brown side. Dyed my hair black. Lack of effort. I would say! I don't normally get medi pedis but the time I did, I got the princess treatment! You come in as a guest, you walk out as friends. Elssa completely FRIED my hair. I've been coloring and cutting my own hair for YEARS. haven't been to a salon since 2017. But I decided it was time to "treat myself". I went in with pictures as a reference of what I wanted and verbalized my needs as well. I mentioned I wanted something extremely dimensional and not blended. not only did I get results nothing like the picture but my hair is completely damaged and breaking. I had long luscious hair and now it's getting shorter by the day from all of the breakage. You could see the hair was complete straw after she bleached it and she attempted a milk bath to balance the ph which did nothing. I've never had an issue with breakage with my hair like this. I use high end heat protectors and deep conditioners regularly. It's so devastating ladies you know our hair is our pride and joy. My hair was so healthy and soft before coming here. When I initially saw how the color came out I voiced that I was utterly unhappy with the results (mind you the damage had already become visible at this point). she attempted to fix it and I could see there was no way she was going to deliver so I just counted my losses and called it a day. Updating my review. I was super thrilled when Jason moved over here for massages. I have gone here for years for my hair and occasionally for nails. I have done massage services here less regularly until Jason. I now get a massage at least once a month from him. He is a great and really helps with relaxation, pain, stretching, and getting knots out; truly whatever you need. He is really Good at adjusting the pressure as well. Alex Roa cut my hair here about three months ago. I was able to book a last-minute appointment because I actually had babysitting and she was more than willing to accommodate me. I'm like a hair virgin...I don't do anything with my hair normally. I usually put conditioner spray in, then put it up in a clip, ponytail or leave it down. I confessed all this to her and she not only cut and styled my hair but gave me several tips. The shop was very quiet since it was nearly closing time but I felt appreciated and pampered. I had the sweetest hairstylist Lauren and I enjoyed every time coming to see her... however, my hair was damaged to the point of no return ( too much bleach) and she also overcharged me for color correcting a previous bad job..it came out to over 400+ ( silly me for even paying that much) I ended up cutting my hair up to above shoulder length and waiting for my hair to grow out before even touching it again.
