I went back with a group of 7 for dinner and had a nice, prompt server but the food quality wasn't as good as my first experience. The french martini was tasty and strong. The appetizers were all great, I recommend the hummus and phyllo cigars. The shrimp scampi entree was overly buttery/oily and one person who got the grouper said it was tough. One person got a burger with mayo and they took an extra 10 mins after serving us to bring her mayo. The dessert baklava with pistachio ice cream was tiny, one tablespoon of gelato and two little pieces of baklava. Found this place on Groupon and boy was it a great find! How have I never heard of this place? I decided to order carry out it was very satisfied. I started with a classic Caesar salad, very fresh lettuce and flavorful croutons. The first entree was the shrimp scampi, which traveled well. The dish was just a tad bit too buttery but still very good. Shrimp seasoned well and risotto cooked perfectly. Second entree was their 12oz strip steak. Cooked to order and they did a very good job cooking it to the temp I like. Steak flavorful and tender. The potatoes that it came with, stupendous and asparagus cooked well. To finish, I had to order the cheesecake with strawberry sauce which capped off a very good meal. Definitely will be returning here and would highly recommend it! read more

I think this is a double review. One for our return visit to Pan D'olive and the second for Door Dash. Our order was prepared superbly, packaged well. They did forget utensils but were had our own so no issue. We ordered chicken marsala, shepherd salad, caesar salad, and calamari. Door Dash did a good job of delivering hot-ish food. Decided we should try it since we're were there already. The lunch menu is a great value because it include their warm rustic olive bread, starter (which is kind of side), entree, and beverage. Wife had the cannelloni with sautéed zucchini. I had the lamb kofte with rice and piyaz. Ice tea was super fresh. Crème brûlée was so fresh and perfect. Great service. This quality lunch is a steal. Three of our party ordered the walnut encrusted trout and it was very good. I like for the fish to be skinless, but the trout cannot be ordered without the skin. It turned out not to be a problem. The trout could be easily removed and was not messy. The side of spinach would have been great with less olive oil. All of the three spinach sides were drenched in olive oil, so it must be their usual preparation. Others may like it, but It was too much oil for me. I love dessert, so i always try to choose wisely. We were able to have the entire basement room for our group of about 30 people, which was very conducive to having an actual group meeting. As far as food, our group selected from a smaller, limited menu, which worked out well because I think it helped make it easier for the kitchen to get everyone's food ready at the same time. Although limited, the selections were very good. For the main meal, the Sicilian Style Tilapia was good, and the Meat Cannelloni was great. This is one of my favorite Mediterranean restuarants. The food here is always good, well presented and the service is excellent. I'm gonna go with 4 stars based on strength of service staff...they deserve it. Pan d'Olive has a very relaxing atmosphere whether dining inside or Al fresco. The whether was wonderful tonight and we were seated on side patio with misting stations in full bloom! The menu is not extensive but all selections are quality offerings. Pan D'Olive has pros and a few cons. First off their happy hour is a great deal. The cigars are lovely and the drinks are cheap. I ordered a Manhattan and saw grenadine poured into my drink and immediately realized that anything more than a gin and tonic is too complicated of a cocktail to be mixed at this spot. I will say the salmon is fantastic however most of the other meals I've tried lack flavor, often come out a bit cold, or scream "we prepped most of this days ago". The ambiance is nice but I can't help but feeling like I'm in a sad middle aged dance club themed restaurant. Given the Mediterranean type fair I have to say, the ambiance does not match the food. I'll be back for the happy hour but would not pay full price unless it was strictly because of convenience. In the end there are many better spots within a 1-2 mile radius.
