We're here for cheesecake and that's what we got it's a nice small spot that specializes is cheesecake and cakes like carrot cake etc... I ended up getting the banana pudding cheesecake slice while my hubby got the German chocolate cheesecake I will admit his tasted better but mine was good as well the service is friendly and quick greeted upon walking in the ambiance was small with cute decor nothing more

I am a carrot cake connoisseur! Hank's has one of the most moist cakes with perfectly sweet frosting! I may try a slice of cheesecake one day but the carrot cake has me hooked!

The customer service was good!!! The setting is that of a cafe style with real utensils/plate ware. The cheesecake is next level with a plethora of flavors....a must visit if you like cheesecake

We came in to pickup a dessert for an anniversary dinner, and ended up trying a piece of cheesecake while we were there. The cheesecake was very good, although expensive, but good as an occasional treat. We were surprised to see that the cake was just cello wrapped to a cardboard disc. I'm glad we were careful with the bag, as it would have been upsetting to find it smashed when we got home! The dining room felt dated and cluttered, but the product was great. Might just be a grab and go type of place!

Customer for 10 years and it never disappoints. By far the best cheesecakes ever!! I use them often for their minis for parties and they're always a big hit

This is the best cheesecake spot in St. Louis. Most recently had the banana pudding cheesecake and it was delicious. Hank's is sold out of several restaurants around the city and I was at one. They had plain, chocolate raspberry, and banana pudding available. The store itself is very cute. Service is quick and friendly.

Wow! I have been sleeping on this gem! Recently tried the white chocolate raspberry at an event and it was out of this world!! The cheesecake was light but creamy and the raspberry was perfect amount of tart. Definitely will come back to try more flavors!

Cute little shop on big bend with friendly staff! Their cheesecakes are fantastic! Great dessert to bring to a dinner party or housewarming event.

This place is so cute and I love the little diner atmosphere. The cheesecake is phenomenal, and the girl helping us out was very nice! I had the white chocolate raspberry and almond cappuccino cakes and loved them both- but the raspberry was especially good. Would definitely come back here for desserts.

Had a slice of Hank's caramel amaretto for my birthday. Of course, the phone did not eat first. But, the cheesecake was decadent. Much lighter than a lot of other cheesecakes out there which, in my opinion, was a welcome surprise. The saltiness of the caramel paired perfectly with the creaminess of the cheesecake. The amaretto adds a wonderful flavor that I cannot quite articulate. Delicious, nonetheless. The chocolatey crumb crust was also wonderful, I only wish it had a bit thicker layer to help its flavor shine through a bit more. Additionally, the single slice is a bit small, but that is okay. All in all, a fantastic cheesecake, I hope to go back soon and try some additional flavors!

I don't usually have cheesecake unless it's from a specific place in NYC, but my friend convinced me to give this place a shot and I have no regrets! My favorite part is the diverse selections of cheesecakes and I wanted to just sample a bit of each one. My favorite was the chocolate covered strawberry followed by the strawberry shortcake (this one has some sponge cake in it so not completely a cheesecake). I wonder if they change their selection, I guess I have to come back to check

Awesome place! Finally had the pleasure of stopping in after Hanks has been on my list for years. We ordered 6 slices because we were quite literally overwhelmed by the huge selection. We got the banana pudding, tiramisu, chocolate chip, apple, German chocolate, and another one that I forgot lol. All were incredible! Sizes are a bit smaller than Cheesecake Factory but prices are cheaper as well. You can tell these are so fresh and made with so much love. I will be back for a full one soon!

They made a fresh pot of coffee and even went the extra mile to go get ice as we came in later in the evening and they had run out. I did tell them they didn't need to, but he insisted which I thought was outstanding. This quaint little café is so charming inside. It allows people to gather eat a sweet treat and have general conversation conversations where you can actually hear one another. They do have outside seating too. The chocolate cake was soft and as a non-cake lover I found this very delicious. Definitely worthy of sharing. I ordered a quiche to go. I had mentioned they didn't have the spinach feta pastry that I had before. The gentleman stated we have some in the back, I'm happy to get you one. So I ordered that too. And although this was only our second time coming, the fact that they'll make a fresh pot of coffee in my opinion is key to a great café. I will keep this in my rotation of places to go.

I smile, he is stone faced. I go to open the door as he walks away. The door is locked. I try a few more times, thinking maybe it's me. I look around at the hours again, but next to it is a "we're open" sign. I try maybe 3-4 times more before I give up. I walk to the window and he's sitting at a table toward the back, looking at me. We just look at each other, then he looks at his computer. I turn toward my car, then turn back around and he's still looking at me! I sat in my car, confused. He never looked back up from his computer, so I left. Highly disappointed.

They do have a note that tapioca is not ready until 1030 AM each day. I ordered passionfruit with lychee with 50% less sugar with light ice. It was just right in sweetness. I like the tartness of passion fruit and that amount of sugar allowed for that with a slight sweetness. I loved that the seeds are in the juice. The drink was delicious. WOW let me tell you from a first hand experience two people do NOT need three desserts. Cyrano's gives you AMAZING portions. Just one would have been enough lol. Anyways, the carrot cake was my favorite. It was so big I had enough to take home! The tiramisu was good but it was being overpowered by the carrot cake that evening. I loved that the location had a good parking lot and was easy to get to. The decor and ambiance are designed to give you a feeling of luxury. We had a party of 6 and the round table we were placed at was the perfect size for conversation but still had room for all of our food and plated. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. The wine and bourbon list was massive and I recommend that you do your research in advance. It is way too big to really explore at the table. Bourbons were kind of high priced but, "fine dining" so expected. House salad is really good and fresh with nice light, balanced ingredients. We tried the korean cauliflower and bread service for apps. The cauliflower was ok but I wouldn't order again. It was a little disappointing that they charge for bread service. A single order comes with 5 pieces of bread, connected but tearable, and each a pretty small finger-sized piece. The board they served it on had a well full of olive oil and that was a mess. It was hard to pass without spilling and hard to share the oil since you had to pass the whole big bread board with it. Definitely a form over function thing that caused some frustration. Most of my party got steaks and all were very happy. 2 of my party got their steaks tuscan style and although they really liked the flavors on the meat, they wished they had not gotten salads first since the tuscan style plate replaced the usual potato and veg side with an arugula salad (so double salads for those folks). One person got the pork chop and it was massive, seemed like he liked it. I got the tagliatelle ragu and it was a good portion, not obscene but I had leftovers. It kind of tasted like pot roast pasta in a decent way. I don't know if I would get it again but I was not disappointed. 2 in our party ordered dessert, creme brulee and chocolate torte. The chocolate torte was phenomenal and one person said they would have come just for that. Not a lot of non-alcohol after dinner drink options. I ordered drip coffee and it was better than most I have had after dinner at supposedly nice restaurants, although it wasn't amazing. Some at our table ordered port and the bottle was humungous - a very amusing presentation. We were celebrating 4 birthdays among our 6 diners and they brought us a very nice plate of warm, gooey, chocolate chip cookies cut into quarters to share. This was a PERFECT birthday acknowledgement. We didn't need a big dessert per person or one to share with 6 spoons. It was small, delicious, and a gracious gift. If I could do half stars I would give 4.5. There were some small misses that I would not expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It was a lovely dining experience and I would go back in a heartbeat. I really like when a restaurant lives up to its reputation and I think Truffles does.

We started with the Korean fried cauliflower and it was honestly some of the best I've ever had. The batter was light, fluffy, and crispy, and the gochujang sauce with the mayo was sweet and sticky in the best way. Since it's a butchery, we had to try the steaks. I ordered the 4oz filet Oscar style. The meat was tender and very well seasoned, the crab was fresh, and the homemade hollandaise really pulled it all together. My husband had the ribeye. It was a flavorful cut, a little fatty (as ribeye tends to be), but exactly what you'd expect from that cut. The steaks come with a twice-baked potato and vegetable (or you can swap for different vegetables). The potato was flavorful but fairly dense. We also did the bread service - it was good, but felt a bit pricey for the portion. We ended with the flourless chocolate torte, which was very rich and the perfect way to finish the meal - especially on Valentine's Day. Overall, the food was good and the menu is solid. The quality was there, but the portions, bread service and sides didn't fully meet expectations. That said, it was still a lovely experience and a great date-night spot.
