I came here for a pedicure and unfortunately wasn't very impressed with my first experience…read more The first thing I noticed was that the arm of the pedicure chair was pretty dirty. The pedicure started off fine with soaking and exfoliating, but when the technician was cutting my nails, she accidentally cut the corner of my left big toe and it started bleeding. She noticed right away and took care of it, and the bleeding stopped quickly. I've had many pedicures before and this was the first time I've ever been cut to the point of bleeding, so I didn't feel comfortable having her continue. I asked her to just colour my nails. Another technician ended up taking over and she was much better and seemed more experienced. My biggest issue was really the cleanliness. Besides the chair, the UV/LED nail lamp was visibly dirty with a lot of old stains and residue on it. Overall, the service was okay, especially after the second nail technician took over, but between getting cut and the cleanliness of the place, I wouldn't come back. I'm very surprised with the good reviews on Google.

I must say I am impressed with the products, tools and services. Plus You may book your appointment by calling them at 604-559-8059 or book online at https://blissfulbeautylounge.as.me/schedule.php Booking an appointment is so easy! Blissful uses non-toxic products that don't sting your nose nor gives you headache and can sometimes irritate your skin. The nail technicians are all friendly and they know what they're doing. I was told that they never reuse their foot scrubs. This is very important to me and I guess to everyone. You don't want to be using the same scrubs other people used. I did both manicure and pedicure and both times I'm very satisfied. This place is highly recommended.

My nail tech was a very sweet young lady who removed my shoes and socks for me. I requested nail art and explained that my left hand doesn't open up properly. I was given 10% off and she put 2 packets of instant Vietnamese coffee in my pocket as I'd told her I loved Vietnamese coffee. The salon is clean and large. My sister and I booked appointments the night before the scheduled date. They were able to accomodate us on short notice, so we felt really lucky! Laura worked on both our pedicures (our appointments were one after another, if we booked more in advance they would have been able to schedule us at the same time). She was incredibly caring and checked in to ask if the temperature of the water was ok, if ever I felt uncomfortable to let her know, if the color was OK after she put a drop on the first toe. I could really tell that they are very attentive to their customers and care about helping them feel as comfortable as possible! I'm so happy with how pretty my toes looked at the end of the service (light cotton-candy pink). It was such a relaxing and pleasant experience! It was the perfect way to check something off my list of things to enjoy during my vacation.

The girls the accommodated me and my 8 yr old, and the girl stayed after closing for me. My nails w were awesome! One wierd thing I noticed was the first girl started my nails and then in the middle abruptly got up and switched to another girl- no warning or explanation. Strange but ok. The day before yesterday I went for the second time. I went as a walk in, and the girl seemed a bit off from the beginning. Why I'm giving three stars is because I'm happy with the nails, the attitude I got was not ok. She seemed bitchy and at one point she was pointing out that she had to change my mail as the last person did it crooked, she said. I know my mail is slightly cracked and I didn't notice anything the last time- then she held up my finger to show me. When I didn't understand and asked for clarity she got all pissy and said something in her language which in sure was very derogate, right there in front of me! I felt so uncomfortable and upset about it. A bit shocked, even. I let it go but it's still bothering me so I hope this communicates . I paid a lot and tipped too. I'll be going back though , hoping for the best and I'm happy with my nails.

NOPE. This was my…read morefirst manicure (yes, ever!) and even though I had spoken briefly on the phone to ask about services, when I arrived I asked a woman (who was near the front) a couple of questions. I didn't know what to expect (again, my FIRST manicure) so I wanted to check a couple of things. Right away the woman said, "I already told you." I said, "Well, the woman I spoke to on the phone..." she cut me off, "Woman! No "Woman", I speak to you!" She seemed irritated already and I had barely set foot inside! I tried another approach, "May I see your prices?" "Right there." she pointed to a post on the wall, then "I told you on [the] phone." "Which nails are stronger?" "They ALL strong. They ALL good, ok!" She tapped me on the hand to make me listen. That was enough for me - too aggressive, WAY too impatient and rude! NO manners for answering a simple question from a new, and somewhat nervous client (me). Terrible way to start! No way was I going to feel "taken care of" by someone with such a terrible attitude. I declined the appointment and left. I hope that she learns that sh*tty, rude behaviour will lose you clients.

I called on a weekday and with short notice was able to get an appointment for a pedicure($35). Upon arrival I changed my mind to get both a mani and pedi ($55) which they were happy to accommodate. It's a nicely laid out salon, airy and clean with plenty of room to accommodate customers and was fairly quiet during my visit. I took a seat in one of their massage chairs and was offered a drink as the pedi service began. I enjoyed the experience and left thoroughly relaxed. They did a good job with my nails though some areas could use improvement (better shaping for instance). Overall, a good experience here and I would definitely recommend for a nice ambiance, friendly service and good value for money.
