I've been here 4 times for acrylic and once for pedicure. I think ones experience here is strongly determined by the nail tech. I always get my nails done by Em. She is speedy but precise. She has never hurt me with her tools and it has always been a pleasant experience. I do a lot of chores and often come in contact with water but my acrylic nails don't start to lift until 4.5-5 weeks later and that is when I usually go in for a fill. I have been to many popular ig home-based nail techs and I find that Em is the best out of all of them for shaping, full sets, speediness, and sturdiness. I've only had nail art/design once and it was good but not the best. She's good if you like solid colors and rhinestones but not nail art that requires precise lines. I gave 4/5 because it's not the cleanest environment and the one time I got a pedicure here, it was just so so. read more

First of all, i was a walk in customer and they let me wait for 10 min, which is fine and i like that. However, 1. the Nail tech who created a full set on my nails is very concerning, I guess her name is Linda or Thuy, she cut my cuticle and bleed 2 of my fingers. 2. She called me " con khách" when talking to her coworker in front of my face when she knows i understand Vietnamese, and I was born in Vietnam and just moved to Vancouver for more than 2 years. 3. When she used her nail file to work on my nails, it hit my real nails underneath and i told her" it's hurt", she didn't apologize and said" it's because my real nails is short". 4. When i ask her to cut my nails super short for 2 specific finger on my left hand, so that i can use it to remove my contact lense everyday, she decided to make it A BIT shorter than the other 8 fingers despite the fact that i told her 3 times i need it short. So i went back home, try to remove it before sleep and figure out i can't poke my eyes with this nails, so i have to CUT it myself to make it short enough to remove the lenses myself. At the end, she put the cuticle oil very quick without properly checking it so my skin around that area is so dry. At the end, no apologized for this bad service and she immediately moved on to the next customer. This set costs me 73 ( w/o tax) and i still tip. I could have said something, but at that time, i didn't think about it much because i was sleepy, so i went back home and see all the horrible things i have to deal with, I wrote this serious long review about this place. This was the worst manicure I've ever had. I should have left when I saw how filthy her station was. Or that her tools were not sterilized between people. I asked for just a simple manicure but got strong armed into UV gel polish. Then when she went to apply the polish I asked "umm are you not going to do the cuticles?" she was like "oh? You want a manicure? It will be $35" yeah! That's what I asked for from the start! She was so pre-occupied. Chatting, doing other things, getting up to do stuff. I almost said "is this a bad time for you? Should I just go?" because she was clearly busy. After asking she did my cuticles, then did the polish. After she put lotion my on hands and arms and massaged each hand for around 15 seconds before wiping it off with a hot towel and calling it done. She had only buffed the middle of the nail and not the edges and applied the polish not to the cuticle bed so it started to lift and grew out 4 days later. Not worth the money at all. read more

I asked for gel nails and they did acrylic with gel overlay and told me it was powder gel, there's no such thing. When I asked what that was cause I knew it didn't exist her explanation was "it's better". Acrylic is cheaper and gel is more expensive so I do feel like they ripped me off. I went at the end of the day and the files she used on me were very dusty and very used. My nail tech though did a very lovely job and the nails did look great and lasted, and she did converse with me which I like. If you're looking for a clean professional place for your nails, this is not it. However if you just want your nails done they will leave you with a satisfactory result. He's a really really sweet guy who is excellent at what he does. He has a knack for creating a style that suits his clients so I let him have free reign over my nails and my only request was that he keep it looking classy. I absolutely love my nails!!! My hands have never looked better. My nails took an hour and a half to do and he was so careful to make them look extra special. I keep having to return to this establishment due to the lack of salon availability that fits my work schedule. I usually keep it very simple, as they are ultimately a chop shop. just speedy, freshen basic gel/acrylic. the very few times that I've requested a design such as marble, criss-cross lines. they've somehow managed to mess it up everytime. when you do point it out to them, the manager lady (lynn) will just sulk and tell me "this is how it is supposed to be" and the one of the times, I had the cashier guy, the techinician and the manager all laugh at my complaint (and just ranting in vietnamese). today was the last straw, I went to do a re-fill and it mustve been a slow day. because 4 other ladies all decided to hover around my table and start chatting away. which I am totally fine with, but one of the lady said something about me and ran away laughing. it was loud and in a foreign language. which ultimately makes a client uncomfortable. in the end, my nail color was not even the right shade, but ultimately i did not want to say anything (due to our previous interaction) and walked out. mind you, i still tipped.... overall, okay basic technique. but man, yall gotta work on that customer service, dude. read more

So after going to this place a few times... I've stopped. I want to warn people about this place. It's definitely changed since the first time I went here. I went first thing in the morning and waited for 30 minutes to be seated in the pedicure chair. Mind you, no one was there. There was a man and I waiting for a manicure and pedicure. Ok fine, I believed the owner when he said his techs were coming in 5 minutes, over 5x. Then the man who was also waiting, and I were asked to be seated in the pedicure chairs by the owner, and the water was turned on and the salts were added. No problem, until I waited another 45 minutes. The owner kept giving excuses that it will be another 5 minutes over and over. At this point my skin was pruney and my feet were cold. Then a couple of technicians strolled in laughing about being late - so I waited some more. Then suddenly a lady screaming in Mandarin runs in telling the manager how they "effed up her acrylics". So instead of the customers who were waiting for the late technicians to be helped first - this lady budges the line. AND the manager lets her! Obviously the man who arrived before me got his nail technician, which is understandable. But just because this lady made a freaking scene I have to wait again?! I was livid at this point. I told him, I've patiently waited for your staff to arrive for over an hour. I'm cold and my feet are wet, and you let a screaming lady go in front of the us because she made a scene!? I'm sorry but this is horrible - no respect for their customers. I suggest going to professional nail salon beside chapters. I'm in town for a wedding and I desperately needed a solar fill. As a groomsmaid, my dark, sparkly, grown out solar nails were tacky. They close at 9 and I arrived at 8:30. I asked if they had time for a plain fill, nothing fancy. The technician I had (I wish I would have caught her name!!) was FANTASTIC. She worked super SUPER fast, but such good quality, and detail. I was honestly so in love with my nails the first time i got them done which was last week (refill). The next day I noticed that there was a crack on the side of my nail from before the refill the girl had done, I guess she didn't notice it was cracked. I went back Saturday,and I understand they are busy but there customer service was so bad. I walked in to tell them what had happened and everyone inside the salon turned to stare and listen...awkward. This place is total shit. My cousin and I went to get our toes done here. The owner did my cousins toes & some lady did mine. the lady that did my toes hurt me so freaken bad she pushed this tool on the skin of my toe and I said ow but she didn't really acknowledge it. She also used this hot mf towel super hot to clean my legs. AND she randomly got up and walked around the store while she was suppose to be painting my toes. The owner did my cousins toes and she decided to use the the electric buffer and it burnt her toe nail! AND THE HOT TOWEL BURNT MY COUSIN FOOT! Her legs were all red and it bubbled up. ANYWAYS my point is this place really fucken sucks if you want your toes to be burnt and your leg and your experience to be painful PLEASE GO HERE!!! They charge a really affordable and fair price for shellac gel polish change, and it never chips before my next appointment (I go every 3-4weeks) like it does from other salons. But anyways so she gets her nails done and we go home and a few hours later it comes off. Like three of them just break. The quality just wasn't there. I wasn't impressed. Awful experience TWICE. First time, asked if they had time to do two pedi at the same time they said yes, made us wait forever to start, and had one start way before the other. Second time yesterday on my birthday, made an appointment for 8pm for 2 people for mani AND pedi. Once again made us wait but even longer. At 820 my feet still had not been touched while my girlfriends pedi had started 10 minutes before. The salon closes at 9pm, and I was wondering how they planned to finish two gel pedis in that time frame, not to mention 2 mani also. Worst experience will NEVER go back. Please do not go to this nail salon. I came in for a fill yesterday and it was the most rushed I have ever experienced. The salon was very quiet and it was in the middle of a week day so they were not busy so there was no reason for my fill to only have taken 35 minutes. The nail tech did a very sloppy job and did not care at all. My nails are slanted and uneven because she filed each one and shaped them in about 5 seconds for each nail. The electric file that they had sounded and felt like nails on a chalk board. Then to top the experience off the nail tech got very mad at me because apparently I wasn't putting my hands in the UV box properly, and then when we went to give my nails the final wipe my thumb looked like it had wet nail polish that had been touched and was all bumpy. She tried to say good-bye, but when I showed her my thumb she got even more angry and tried blaming me, shaking her head very angrily and mumbling rudely. She then very roughly and very quickly filed off the messed up gel polish and then while there were still little bits of the old polish left on my thumb, she started painting my thumb once again and was very rude about it. Once it was done she gave me a dirty look and did not say anything more. Will not be returning. Not to mention she cut me multiple times with the electric file. read more
