If I could give them less than one star, I would. I have taken our two dogs, one mini golden doodle, and one a mini Bernie Aussie doodle to them. The time before this our Bernie Ozzy doodle was nicked by his private parts. I informed them about this, so that it would not happen again on their most recent visit. I also went over the length that we wanted them and they had samples to review and approve. They were to call me if there was any issues achieving this. We were horrified when we picked them up and they were shaved, and both of them were nicked and bleeding. We were asked to bring them in at 10 and they weren't ready till five... Seven hours with no water or potty breaks. We are not sure whether they sterilize their shearers, but are glad that our dogs or not infected.

They cut my dog's nail too short!! And still charged me full price. My poor dog is already afraid of getting his nails cut.

Do not take your dogs here! The ladies that work there are very nice but they just have way too many dogs to deal with. Once the dogs are done bathing they put the dog in the kennel with a fan pointing at them. Unbelievably sad!! When you go in there the dogs are all crying and shaking with anxiety. My dogs were freaking out when they went inside because they felt the energy of the other dogs. The place is dirty. I am sad to say I will not go back there because I like the ladies but I think that place needs a revamp! . At least call them ahead of time and go when there is like one dog there?

This review truly deserves zero stars. I brought my 13yr old Scottish Terrier to get groomed. When I dropped her off I let the owner know that she had a lot of "old lady" bumps along her back and face area and to be aware of them when grooming. When I picked up my dog she was completely shaved. She did not even look like my dog. They had shaved her entire body!!! Her entire head is shaved, she has no Scottie beard, eye brows or fluffy ears. Her tail is completely shaved. I asked the owner what happened when she checked me out. She said "Oh I don't know, I didn't groom her." She then pulled my ticket to double check that I had asked for a Scottish terrier cut, which I had. She then told me she didn't know what happened. Maybe she was matted when I brought her in. I told her that she was not matted that I had brushed her this week. She then told me she would call the lady who had groomed her and ask what happened. She was very nonchalant about the entire thing. Being that it is winter, and the average temps around Spokane are low 40s-Mid 30's I now have put her in a sweater 24/7. Below are before and after pics. I had been bribing my dog here for almost 2yrs but after this and the way the owner handled the situation I will NEVER bring my dogs back again.

    It really is pretty funny.

The customer service was great, and the lady we worked with was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately our dog was given the worst haircut he has ever received. I'm not picky when it comes to cuts with our dog, but the quality was very poor. We asked that he be shaved all over with a little fuzzier on the chest and legs. His body, legs and part of his chest got shaved, but his entire underside was left (what appears to be) uncut. I actually can't stop laughing at him. Also, he had clipper burn on his backside and one of his paws. He is very uncomfortable and we're having to constantly make sure he isn't going at himself.

His eye is all milky and swollen where they cut or poked him with the s scissors.

I took my five month old Yorkshire Terrier in yesterday to get a bath and his face cleaned up, I got him back he had been poked in the eye. I didn't notice til I got home. My boyfriend called to let know what happened after we took him to the vet($100 later). The young lady that answered the phone told him that he most likely had hair in it and had done this himself. He was just fine when I took him there. I will NEVER bring an animal here. They also said they CAN'T watch them all the time, and because of this they put in cages. Doggie daycare huh?!

Injury caused by Pamperd Pets on 57th

Do not take your pet to this Pamperd Pets to get groomed if you love your pet. My 10 month old Shih Tzu was cut severely. We took her to Emergency and the doctor gave her antibiotics. The groomer put a ponytail on the top of the injury to it try and hide it. I could see my puppies scalp bleeding. No wonder she would shake so bad when I would drop her off.

I've taken both my cat (Russian Blue) and my Lab and not only do I always love the results but my animals actually like going there...my Lab used to get really get nervous but they got him through it and I wouldn't trust any others groomers I much as I trust Pampered Pets

We have taken our dogs here 3-4 times without incident and have received average to good cuts for our doodle. Our last visit was our last. They use choke collars to tie up the dogs when they run out of crates. My dog has never been in a choke collar. I watched as the handler tied him up and turned away - at which point he went to run for me - and was choked. Choke collars are horrible when used properly - and this is not proper use. Our pup also came home with razor burns and a bloody tail. We didn't notice until we were home and they never said a word about it!

    AWFUL!!

Pawsitive Image Dog Salon - Petey

    Pawsitive Image Dog Salon

If I could leave zero stars I would. I am sure the owner of the Salon will comment on my post as…read moresoon as she reads it. She seems to take pleasure in not owning up to standard industry practices, gaslighting, and overall AWFUL service. A couple weeks ago, took my Mom's dog in to get a cut. She was quoted $55. Got a call from Pawsitive to pickup the dog as the groom was done, and was told it was $120?!?!?! I asked why it was double the price and they said it was because my Mom said it was a small dog that they were grooming when she called to setup the appt. I asked why she wasn't called when she dropped off the dog and they saw the size of her. The response from Pawsitive Image ( Anthony) was we were too busy. I asked how this could be rectified as my Mom never had said she was a small dog.. she had told them her dog was 60-70 pds. Anthony then became irate saying nothing was going to be done because my Mom lied about the dog's size? Lied?!?!? She never lied! I have been taking our two dogs to Pawsitive for years, and had referred my Mom there. She never lied about her dog's size. I then was put on hold from Anthony and the Owner of the salon went off( I didn't even know he transferred me to the Owner) saying I was being unreasonable asking for them to do the right thing and lower the price. She then stated that I wasn't going to pay to get pepper? (Gaslighting all the way happening here!) I had NEVER said I wasn't going to pay to get my moms dog. I then went and picked up my Mom's dog. The owner came out with my moms dog and yelled at me for awhile. i asked the owner her name and she refused to give it. I had already been in the process of paying and I told her to give me my moms dog, and she said no. I said I have already paid give me the dog. She again said no. At this point I said if you don't give me the dog I am calling the Cops. She said fine.. call em. I left the building and called the COPS. They were on there way there when she gave my Mom's dog to my husband who was also in there waiting while I was on the phone with the cops. The owner from the window waived at me mockingly and said goodbye with a wicked smile. DON'T BRING YOUR PET HERE! EVER! Also...they kept changing prices over the years, and not informing me with our dogs. I do believe unsavory practices are happening at this business, and they are overcharging people deliberately. I should never had referred my Mom there. I know this is a long email but I am seeing others posts/reviews and our experience needs to be heard. As far as the quality of the haircuts over the years for my pups they have gone from good to mediocre.Spend your money with a company who welcomes your pet like family, and treats you with common decency.

Regarding Pawsitive Image Dog Spa: I posted a review several months ago on Google, about how my dog…read morewas injured by Anthony one of the owners. The owners response is not true. My caregiver was with me and can completely refute what he posted in his response. My dog is a well trained service dog to a disabled veteran. She did not jump up on bench or grooming table, as he has stated. I told him not to let her try to jump up in the high bathing tub. He took her by her leash and let her attempt to jump up and she slammed her entire backside into the bathing tub, Anthony then pushed her in. My caregiver and I were astonished at his total disregard,to not let her jump up that high, by letting her attempt to jump up that high. The tubs have pullout ramps, which I've used when I've done her bathing and so have the other groomers. Took her to the vet who observed her limping and later had bruising on her belly. I wish now I'd followed through with attorney's advice and taken Anthony to small claims court. Attorney said I should ask for $10,000 for damage to my service dog. She later developed a lump in a breast, which had to be removed. He's lying and my caregiver Dorathy wrote me a statement, as to what she observed, which I showed the attorney, and totally refutes what Anthony posted. I would never take a dog to them for grooming. I now take my dog to a groomer with 5 stars, who lifts her in/out of bathing tub and puts grooming table in low position lifting her up and off it. If Anthony wants to lie that's on him and shows his character. GA
