I'm sorry to say we had a pretty terrible experience here. We tried her twice for full grooms for our 2 small dogs, and the first time the cut was choppy and uneven but we stayed and watched and the lady was so nice and chatted with us and the price was also reasonable, and we liked it being out of her home as well, so we decided to give her another try a few months later. The 2nd time was definitely the last. We stayed and watched again, and not only were the cuts terrible again, but the bath was literally about 20 seconds long too. She walked into the other room, and then almost immediately walked back in and when i asked about the bath she said she just did it. And it felt like the twilight zone because she barely had time to pour shampoo let alone scrub and wash the dogs...When i asked about the anal glands she said she just did those then too! Lol. And my dog continued to scoot after she was groomed so i think they just weren't done at all, (a cpl nails weren't clipped either) and the bath was so skimped over that our dogs didn't even smell good afterward like after a grooming they should, and always do everywhere else. But the very worst thing is she kept yelling at them, several times, and the dogs were just sitting and not doing ANYTHING to be concerned about, let alone to grab their faces and snap them around to face her to yell right in their faces! We were SHOCKED.. And then she yelled at one of the dogs and smacked her right in the face and on her back, for her just looking away. This was the worst treatment, of our second dog done. We just let the cpl times she yelled at our first dog go..we did discuss leaving and not having our second dog done, in between them, but then decided on the side of not being rude or offending her since we had made an appt and taken her time etc. But the second dog was yelled at several times and then smacked in the face..and we were in shock I think.. and the lady just chatted afterward at us like it was normal...and we were just quiet and not sure what to do but after this we both deeply regretted not standing up and objecting to what she had just done right then, we still do deeply regret it, (right in front of us too, I hate to think what she might do when animals are dropped off and she is alone with them). We felt like we had just betrayed our dogs by being there while they were just abused verbally, emotionally, and one of them physically...and I just hate that. It made me cry a bit thinking of how I should have protected my baby. I'm sure they forgot it by now but we felt guilty for weeks. So to sum up, I would never use her again and I feel bad thinking about the possibility of this happening to other sweet dogs too. I waited a while and thought a lot about whether to write this review or not, because the lady seemed nice outside of this..but I just can't condone treating dogs this way, (and our 2 dogs are the sweetest most obedient friendly dogs who were SO good too, not that being bad would have made it ok though). We love dogs too much to not at least say something. read more
