I love…read morecream pies but they are kind of hard to find on O'ahu, especially banana cream and coconut cream, two of my favorites. I was able to try the banana cream in a mini size at Foodie Con and it was delicious. Good fresh banana flavor and a good balance of whipped cream topping and the base pie layer. My partner got an espresso pie and enjoyed his as well. We sampled several of their pies and they were all excellent. The business owners are very kind and sweet and spent plenty of time talking with each person visiting their booth. I'll be visiting again, as I prefer to get a slice of pie or a mini pie instead of having an entire pie around my house. That's just too much temptation. Plus this way I can do several smaller mini pies and get multiple flavors. That's a win.

We were strolling around, looking at all the tents deciding what to have for dinner and dessert, and as I passed their tent, a friendly voice called out and asked if I would like to sample one of their products. I couldn't resist, and was glad I did. They were mini cream pies. I tried their Jody Call cookies and cream, and it was delicious. The filling was very creamy and not overly sweet of chocolate, and the crust was nice and crumbly and yet moist. I had to get some. They sold their variety 6-pack for $18, and that's what i got. The names of the various desserts are military themed, which I appreciated and thought was cool. The ingredients are claimed to be natural and organic, which I can also appreciate. She went on to say that they even do parties and catering. The 6-pack was well boxed and bagged for me, with all the stickers facing in one direction so that I can read them all (I like the attention to detail there), and I couldn't wait to get home and eat them all. And they were all fantastic. Delicious. I'm a sucker for cream pies, and these hit the mark.

There are so many choices of containers and plants. I never knew there are so many succulents, and that they thrive on the Windward side! Take a look at some of the photos of the finished pieces on the Once Again Hawaii YELP page, then look for their kiosk at Windward Mall. I had been eyeing the succulents displayed at the Farmer's Market, but this pop-up gives one a chance to explore all of the possibilities with the experts!

Filled with various unique handmade crafters that I love yet seen anywhere else, it goes to show how much creativity we have here on the islands which I'm so delighted to see them brought to light I'm finding crafty self emerging and fired up to do something. There's a large display for Instagram photo opps at the entrance. Further in, you'll find boxes of the famous chocolate covered Macadamia nuts (sugar free options are available), tote bags, gift baskets, handmade jewelry, and other gift items! Note: The original location of Menehune Mac (known for its chocolate covered Macadamia nuts) is in Kalihi. There's an 8am tour of the factory on Saturdays. How sweet it is…read more.. Yasss I found them after my first discovery in downtown but I'd never thought that I'd find these yummies again. Love that they've found a place at Fishcake in Kaka'ako and on Thursdays which is much more accessible for me and gosh it indeed was a great find. They had their Frozen Mousse and Pudding today and I was just all over their puddings as it's not too sweet but very light and smooth. - Original (Salted Caramel) - Matcha - Okinawan Ube - Pumpkin Spice There was just one pumpkin spice left :( so I got that, two matcha, two ube and one original and with every five items purchased they'll throw in an item of your choice for free...eeeee! It comes in a cute glass jar and I did try the matcha first and though the flavor is light and faint that I had to search for the matcha flavor it was a very nice and refreshing treat that I did feel so heavy after eating the whole jar. They guys are just a delight so nice and friendly and even have samples for the mousse which is yummy by the way but I just love pudding and now know that I'm able to find them right here is so nice and convenient for a quick treat. We tried lilikoi cream, guava cream, Madagascar vanilla, and chocolate hazelnut. Let me say, it was a hard choice to make but we ended up picking chocolate hazelnut and lilikoi cream. Both flavors were a hit at the party. Cristi was just amazing to work with. Being able to make a full sheet with 2 flavors and the most beautiful cake decorations inspired by just the invitation.
