A friend brought some frozen sorbet at our gathering. Got the strawberry flavor. I have a "sweet tooth " but this is too sweet for me

You generally have to find parking along the street, which is relatively limited depending on the time of day, as there are a couple street parking spots in front of the shop that are often occupied. The shop itself is clean and bright with a modern glam design (marble print tables, pops of pink), and there are some tables/booth seating available if you'd like to enjoy your food indoors. Service is quick and friendly. There are several soft serve flavors and toppings that you can choose from, and there are some popular combo recommendations on their menu. I got the ube ice cream with oreo as a topping, and it came out very quickly! I overall enjoyed what I got, as I thought it was sweet, creamy, and overall hit the spot. I would love to come back to try their other flavors if I ever get a late night craving for soft serve.

Somehow, it ended up being the same price, if not cheaper, than the Baskin-Robbins by my house. That alone threw me off. Then the ice cream showed up... and now I'm suspicious for a different reason. Flavor was a straight 10 out of 10. Not "it's hot so I'll take anything cold" good, actually good. Like someone back there cares about your happiness. Portion size? Out of control. These guys are not measuring anything. It felt personal. Like they saw me walk in and said "yeah, give this guy the full send." And listen, I've never once in my life said "that's too much fudge." That's not a sentence I use. But they pushed me to the edge. Sundae came out looking like it was melting under pressure. Fudge dripping down the sides, chocolate overflowing like it had somewhere to be. I couldn't even take a picture because it was already escaping. One wrong move and I'm wearing it. At one point I wasn't even eating it anymore, I was just trying to contain the situation. This is exactly how a sundae should be. Messy, overloaded, slightly stressful, and 100 percent worth it. I'll be back... but next time I'm bringing backup.

It's the kind of spot you're most likely to discover while wandering in or out of Ginza Bairin, following a luxurious tonkatsu meal craving something cold and refreshing. The setup is refreshingly no-frills: medium styrofoam cups, flavors handwritten in Sharpie, and two separate freezers dividing ice cream and sorbet. The texture runs on the firmer side, which actually works in its favor -- your scoop holds up beautifully in the island heat and doesn't melt into a puddle five minutes later. Given the generous portions, you probably won't be refreezing leftovers anyway. The tropical fruit sorbets are the clear stars, made with fresh fruit and bursting with natural flavor. Mango, lychee, and guava taste vibrant and authentic -- bright, fragrant, and not overly sweet due to the natural acidity from using real fruit. Beyond the classics, there are some fun and unexpected options like corn cheese, durian, and avocado for the more adventurous palate. The standout for me, though, was the Kona coffee ice cream. It avoids the common trap of being cloyingly sweet and instead leans into a rich, dark, nutty undertone with an intense coffee essence that lingers in the best way. It feels grown-up and balanced -- deeply satisfying without overpowering. Whether you're looking for the perfect palate cleanser after tonkatsu or just want a cold treat while strolling through Waikiki, Henry's Place delivers simple, memorable scoops that taste like they're made with care. No frills, no fuss -- just really good ice cream and sorbet.

Coffee was good. Probably needed to try it on a hotter day but found it underwhelming.

This place is pretty cozy and bright; however, overall the establishment was relatively clean and did not have any sort of lingering rancid smells so that's always a good sign. I only ordered one thing and this is what I usually get when it's available at boba shops: Wintermelon tea, 50% sweet, and definitely no milk thanks to my lactose intolerance. It was decent, but I've had better around the island and I would've expected it to be a little bit cheaper, but for a default-large size drink I spent about $8.50 which is a little bit overpriced in my opinion. Would I come back? Well maybe I think it depends if everything else is closed around the area. I didn't have a particular reason to stay and sit so I would rather just grab the Boba and go Parking can be pretty difficult in front of this establishment by the way. It is metered and on a main street and the adjacent streets don't have many options that are reliable or free making this another reason why I would not choose this Boba shop over others. All in all, I have no complaints necessarily, but I just wouldn't rank this in my top three Boba shops in Hawaii personally
