I've always been the kind of girlie to thrift shop because I'm not a fan of what the clothing industry has done to our planet. This is why we went to FE-Kapolei in the first place: for someone to help us figure out how to use this thing. Read my review for the Kapolei location to know what happens next. Anyways, since that first visit, I visited FE a bunch of times because of their baby clothes. One reason I'm also not a FE person is the prints are too much for me. Put it this way, the only print I would kind of consider wearing is the simple fish print in black, no other colors! And then next thing you know, there's also a baby section as well for my son! Having a baby changes you, I'll still thrift for my clothes, but I wouldn't mind getting my son the newest clothes from a locally owned, woman ran business. Also, I LOVE being able to text the store and reserve items, no driving all the way to find out it's not there! And the quality of the clothes is definitely there. Decided to buy a baby onesie for our family photos and another baby onesie for our friends who are pregnant. I know baby clothes don't last long, but I just couldn't help myself! Overall, I may only like a couple things from FE, but the fact that it's supporting local is a big plus for me! Also, the quality of the clothing is so great considering the price.

It's the building right before McCully Union Service and you may see two signs is because the recently moved over to a bigger spot. The selection is really cool as they mostly have women's but so have a small section of men's clothing along with some fun accessories and bags as well. They do ship if you purchase online though I'm more a touchy feely kinda shopper as places like this carry unique vintage items that are very cool and fun to browse. You can find them just a block down from Manoa Marketplace right across from Morning Glass they do have five dedicated parking stall for convenience and without a storefront sign don't pass right by this building. This vibrant and spacious layout makes it so easy to browse as it's all nice and organized as you walk in you'll see the various merchandise from coolers, plates and some stationary items along with some fun and beautiful accessories the selection is quite impressive. Lots of clothing to choose from on easy to see racks including some shirts and fun casual wear and baby eel in the back and as I grabbed a few items gift receipt is also given here which makes it great and if you have American Savings with minimum required purchase you make does earn you as discount along with a stamp card for additional savings. For me, the two main reasons to buy Manuheali'i. First, their clothes is often made with a thinner material which is both comfortable and practical, especially during the summer. Business attire or dining out looks better when you're not sweating in your thick cotton aloha shirt. Second, their prices used to be just a tad lower than a lot of the other high end Hawaiian fashion designers. But that seems to be changing. It's going to be more difficult for Hawaiians to wear Hawaiian wear if the prices continue to increase but if you're looking for something professional, fancy, and comfortable, this is probably one of the best brands to go with.
