The baby squid with spicy "pipirrana" here was one of my favorite bites from Seville. I was already super happy with the version from Las Golondrinas and then this came and just blew it out of the water. The balance of the salsa against the squid and the sauce was divine.
Mussels in toast with foie was also very good and the best foie we had on our trip (trust me, we ate a lot of foie).
Unfortunately, we should have stopped there. I had come with the intention of getting this shrimp and egg dish I had seen on Instagram, but it wasn't on the menu, and when I asked they told me it was no longer available but after a second came back and let me know they could still make it for me. Which was so sweet of them to do, and I really wanted to love the dish. Unfortunately the freshness of the shrimp just wasn't there and the dish was too heavy / oily.
But overall friendly service paired with some standout dishes makes this spot a win. read more
