    Wire "repair"

    I came here for a motor replacement (under warranty). Edwin, the service advisor, told me I needed to replace my wiring harness and coolant hoses. To say the least, my car was in the shop for over a month with no communication from Edwin. We would call and leave voicemails but he never received any. During this time they replaced my ECU twice. When I finally got my car, he told me to let my battery charge on the drive home because it was off for a while... However, the battery was dead and I had to buy a new one. My alignment was also off, I was missing a car play device from my car, and had a coolant leak. I brought the car in again the following Monday. Where they proceeded to claim that the leak was not from a hose they replaced. Not even a week later my check engine came on, a misfire on cylinder 3. I took it to a trusted mechanic where he tested my coils and found that was the issue. We did the repair as it seemed to be maintenance. Two weeks later my check engine came back on with the same code. This time my fuel injector on cylinder 3 was clogged. Two days later, the same code. This time we could not find the problem since everything mechanically was good. Little did we know that the "repair" Kia did was the issue. My cables going into cylinder 3 were burnt... This is complete negligence from a "dealership" who charges insane amounts for this mess of a repair

    Paid close to $7000 in repairs engine light still came on after saying they checked my whole fuel system, vehicle not ready for smog red light on my obd, I took it to American tire depot in Lancaster and they fixed the problem for 5 times cheaper no more engine light and vehicle ready for smog

    Update: So I won't buy a car here. See previous. They are the only Kia dealership in town. So I take my Niro there on 7/16/24 because it has a check engine light on. First off it will be $220 to diagnose it, warranty or not. They say the code it was throwing was related to the recall that was done on it earlier in the year. I call the service advisor on 7/17 and she says they need to run some more tests and are in touch with manufacturer to see if it is recall related. Okay, cool, so far. Call again 7/18 and 7/19 no updates. Service advisor calls me at the end of the day on 7/19 and states that the hydraulic clutch and transmission are bad. She also says that it isn't covered under Kia's warranty and that it will be a customer pay (looking at the Kia app, my car hasn't been touched since 830 AM that day). I must have misunderstood what a power train warranty was. I informed the advisor that I have an extended warranty just in case this were to happen as well a stand alone warranty from the dealer I bought it from. The service advisor says "oh well I need the tech to make a list of parts and expenses and send them in to see if they will cover it". She says she will call me back the next day and hurries to get off the phone after I state unequivocally I will not be paying for that. That was days ago. I had already called Kia customer service before I talked to the advisor. They told me no determination has been made whether it was covered under warranty or not and they were still waiting for the tech at the dealership to perform testing and share the results. Kia also said I could take it to a different dealership if I would like and suggested I may want to do that. I went down today to get my gate clicker out of the car. No one had any updates (07/22). They had oily parts stacked in the back seat (leather seats). Bolts in the cupholders.

    $6100 markup! Bad business.

    Want people to buy local. Yet they are still marking the vehicles up and with useless aftermarket items. This vehicle had $6100 in additional pricing.

First thing I found was that the rear view camera was Not working. Carmax stepped up and fixed it. Second thing was the Cabin air filter. Third thing I found was a Dirty engine air filter. I mean as soon as I took it off, DIRT just started falling off it!! And the final thing So Far, we're the spark plugs. They say , and are proud of the fact that they do a 150 point Inspection! Well? If you're going to do an inspection you need to Open your Eyes to see. You need to Actually INSPECT and Not pencilwhip the paperwork. Finally, YOU need to have the Discrepancies FIXED! Finally, I would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle here to get a mechanic to go with you if you can. Better yet tell the salesman you need more than 20 minutes for the test drive to have a mechanic or a person that KNOWS cars to look at the vehicle because I an NOT at all impressed with carmax's 150 point inspectors!

They told me because of my credit no one else would finance me and pressured into the sale. I was reluctant to sign the paperwork because they were charging me as if they car was brand new. After about a few days the car start shaking horribly and I felt ripped off the interior was all damaged and stuff missing inside the car but he assured me it ran well. Now within 3 days of my purchase I tried to cancel and return the vehicle but they would not return my money and only would trade me for another vehicle after a week of chasing them down. They would not show to their business after they sold me the car and one day I finally caught them there. They would only trade me a car as I mentioned and the second car was even worse the engine light, as well as other lights all came on the 3rd day but after I received that car. Again they would not show to their business or answer my calls. I got an estimate for the car that showed the transmission and motor were in bad condition and car needed about $3000 worth of repairs. I could not get ahold of them to return the car nor would they let me so I do not pay their excessive fees and they came and got the car. They then made up inflated charges to the tune of my whole down payment which is all the car is worth ($2000) and have the car and my money. By the way they change their business name often and move places of business as they are formerly known as Big Family Motors with horrible reviews. I offered to pay for the 2 months of car note I used it but the remainder should be returned to me. The car they sold me, that lovely piece of crap white 2013 Toyota Corolla in their ad photos. I wonder how many times they have sold it and took it back. They belong in jail.

I sold my Toyota Tacoma to them after being told the process would be simple and that payment would be ready in about half an hour. Initially, everything went smoothly. They inspected the truck, finalized the offer, had me sign all paperwork, transferred ownership, and took possession of my vehicle. At the very end of the process, we were suddenly told the check would not be ready until the following evening and would need to be mailed unless we objected. This was never disclosed beforehand. We specifically explained that I needed the funds from the sale immediately in order to purchase another vehicle. After pushing back and explaining that we had been told payment would be ready shortly, they eventually came downstairs with a check. However, what they ALSO failed to disclose was that the check could not even be cashed for 24 hours because it would take that long to clear their own banking system. So to summarize: They took possession and ownership of my truck immediately, but I was left without access to the money for the vehicle I had just sold -- and none of this was communicated upfront. Had they been honest and transparent from the beginning about the timeline and banking delay, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I wasted additional time driving an hour to the nearest Comerica Bank only to discover I still couldn't access my money. The lack of communication and transparency is beyond unacceptable.
