I recently visited AV Nissan for an oil change. On my way to the dealership I started hearing a noise. I advised the service advisor and she said they will take a look at it in the back. When the service tech brought my car out at 5:05pm. Everyone in service was basically gone. He told me he put air in my tire and showed me a large nail in it. I could hear the air seeping out of my tire and it was going flat. He also asked me, do you hear the air?. I thought to myself why is he bringing me the car alerting me to the air seeping out?. He should have asked did I have a spare he could put on. He handed me my keys and left. Thank God for Tony Del Rio. He came out and I explained to him what had happened. Tony took my car to the back, had the spare put on and advised me that he will patch the tire for me. I came back the next morning. My fixed tire was put on and my car was washed. I bought a car a year ago. I hate it, but I was in an accident and didn't have money so I got a Nissan. They took my private information and continue to send me things in the mail as I have told them and wrote on the paperwork private - They keep giving me the run around saying it's not them (Yet it has their name and number and address on it) and I still keep getting mail from them and they won't stop. They have used my personal info and I am not happy with them at all. They also would not bargain on the price and overall I am not very happy or impressed with Antelope and will never buy one again. When you buy a Nissan, it's advertised all over the place that it comes with 100,000 mile warranty then if you want, you could buy the extended warranty which I have but then when things go out in your car and it's covered then they try to tell you that you have a deductible. This dealership has been nothing but a pain in my ass I will never ever buy from them again, I can't wait to trade in my car once they fix the parts to another dealership. I love my truck, but this dealership the people who work there absolutely could care less about you and all they want is your money they gouge gouge gouge and then when you asked to speak to a manager, they don't care about customer service whatsoever even when you have proof that you have warranties and you have everything that you needed to get something fixed on your car, they always come up with something to get that extra money. My mom just purchased a brand new 2020 Nissan Rogue Special Edition today. I had taken my Nissan Rogue here several weeks ago for maintenance services and my mom met one of the car salesman on the lot named Elmer. My mother and Elmer exchanged information as she was thinking about turning in her Toyota RAV that she really didn't like anymore, even though it was only two or three years old. Elmer was a persistent and motivated car salesman, but he didn't make us feel pressured. Elmer was really sweet and patient with my mother, and I ended up joining them at the car lot this afternoon to finish the financing paperwork. My mom got a pretty good deal, considering the Labor Day weekend, and lots of people were there to reap the benefits as well. We also worked with a man named Carlos in finance and he was attentive to our needs, and a very good listener. My family and I have been through a lot this year, like most people, but we lost my father in April from cancer. Saturday (4/22) was definitely a tough, trying, and looooong day. It was time to trade in/ upgrade my ride or drive Jeep for a much newer vehicle. Drove from Vegas to make it happen. It was hard enough just thinking of trading my Jeep in for sentimental reasons (tears). 1st stop was a used car lot in Barstow, and we were treated really cool by a young man by the name of Moe. Unfortunately, he didn't have a hefty selection to choose from. Shook hands and off we went to spot no. 2 in Victorville- CarXchange. We were greeted courteously enough by a fellow whose name befalls me at the moment. He started off showing us a few vehicles and we test drove one that we were going to possibly sign off on; but we changed our mind & decided we needed more space. After letting him know we wanted to check out another car or two- Mr. NoName went completely cold on us. His initial courteous & professional manner took a left turn and never got right. Off we trekked to Palmdale for the Auto mall, noticed Apple Valley Nissan. I'm so very thankful that "third time's a charm" is true sometimes, because we met a real cool group of folks there, starting with Sebastian! Very polite and consultative in his sales approach- but most importantly he was extremely patient with us. Car buying can be stressful. You want to gain all the information you can to make a wise purchasing decision. Sebastian was thorough with information about each vehicle we were interested in- yet although he detailed lots of great points he didn't overstate his purpose. He seemed to have genuinely cared about getting us into a safe and reliable vehicle. Long story longer... The vehicle we ultimately chose was priced quite a bit higher than our original budget idea. I don't think anyone else could've talked us into going with the deal we made. However, his mannerism, professionalism, and once again- his patience is what we bought into. Other VERY honorable mention(s): Jackie (Sales Mgr I believe), who ultimately made the deal happen after quite a bit of back and forth. She smoothed it all out as well as she could on our behalf, and with a smile. Jennifer and Carlos (I think Carlos was his name), got us through the lot of paperwork associated with a car purchase. Both courteous, and cool too. All that said, I recommend popping on over to AVN. I really don't understand why Nissan dealerships are so unethical and horrible at conducting business. I went to this dealership on 12/06/2022 to attempt to get my car serviced and I was basically refused which should have been a red flag for me. To make this part short, my 2019 Altima SV would not pass smog because one of the monitors would not monitor after several attempts at drive cycles which is supposed to correct the issue. I didn't want them to make the car pass smog. I simply wanted them to make sure something wasn't operating correctly or if the computer needed to be reset. I was so frustrated I decided to trade my car in. I purchased a 2023 Rogue, very nice vehicle but I noticed once I got home my contract stated I made over $90,000 in income per year(see photos). I never told them that nor produced anything showing that so I was not okay with being part of lying to obtain a loan. I receive approximately $4600 per month in income. I shared my feelings with them and they told me to come in so we can discuss. On 12/10/2022, I returned to the dealership and the solution I was comfortable with was returning the Rogue in exchange for a 2020 Altima SL. You would think the issues would stop there. No they increased! Not only did they not pay off my trade in even though they had it for a month, they increased my monthly income even more than before (see photos) although I provided them written proof of my income (3 months of bank statements), and they tried to lie to me saying they couldn't pay off my car until I redid the contract over because the gap aspect of it needed to be transferred to Nissan (see photos). Like I explained to them gap coverage is optional and has nothing to do with the contract nor them paying off my trade in. On January 6 during a heated conversation with Joe the Sales Manager, he told me to bring HIS car back! Okay no problem, I am on my way. Once I get there his attitude mysteriously adjusted and he tried to talk me out returning the Altima. I reminded him that he told me to bring HIS car back. So since you want YOUR car back bring me my trade in that you have had a month but never paid off so I can go. Then the General Manager Miss Esquivel tried to talk me into keeping the Altima. By this point, I was just tired of the BS but do you think it stopped there? That would be a no! They had installed the custom rims I had on my trade in onto another vehicle. So they had to take my rims off the other car and put them back on my car. Before I left, I inquired about the payment for the month of December since they had possession of the car but Miss Esquivel refused. I also inquired about some type of paperwork to legally drive the car as my trade in was registered in Nevada so by law I had to mail them the plates back. There solution was to put one of there paper Antelope Valley Nissan license plate inserts which meant I would not be legally driving the vehicle but again it showed their level of unprofessionalism. After this I wanted to take the custom rims off and put the stock rims back on to prepare to trade it in somewhere else. The key to the rim locks and the allen wrench were not in my car where I left them. I contact Miss. Esquivel about this and she responds that the service installers used their own. In other words my allen wrench and lug lock key were now missing. On 12/06/2022, I specifically showed my salesman where the key and allen wrench were. So someone at the dealership had them & as I explained to her on 01/10/2023 maybe she should check with whoever had the car my rims were installed onto. She said she would investigate but as of 01/15/2023, I have received no further response and still don't have the key and allen wrench. The allen wrench is no big deal but every lug nut on my car is a keyed lock. So it is not a matter of one key per rim. All 20 lug nuts require that key. read more

Lynda in the service department has treated me so poorly that I have decided to never bring my car to this dealership again, and probably never buy a Nissan again. She was my service writer twice. Both times she was rude, the second time, she wouldn't answer my questions, she spoke to me in a condescending tone and just wouldn't tell me if my car would even be fixed after an expensive repair. Both times she was my service writer, my "oil change reminder sticker" from a competitor went missing. After e-mailing and asking for it, I received no response. After asking if it was stolen, I finally did get a response, management said it probably fell off by accident... he only time in my life this "accident" has happened, has happened at AV Nissan and the sticker is no where in my car. I know I'm close to being due for an oil change, but I don't know when. Guess I'm going to waste money getting it early. But it won't ever be from AV Nissan. read more

AAA says something is draining my battery. Bought a new battery. Car would not start a week later. Got a refund and bought another new battery. Car would not start a few days later. Drove to Nissan in Palmdale. They said I had to make an appointment for later in the week. I went to the appointment. Was told the diagnostic would cost $155 or more. I said okay. I waited. Customer service lady came to me 4 hours later and said the diagnostic showed no parasitic drain on my battery. She said I should drive my car everyday if I want my battery to stay charged! I never heard of such a thing. I have let my car sit for a week and it started. I told her okay. I will have it checked somewhere else just to make sure. She then says "you don't have to pay anything today". I then asked her about the problem of my car stuttering when I try to start it. Whenever I drive and stop somewhere for 15-20 minutes, when I try to start the car, the car stutters. I have to turn it over one to two times before it will start. She said for that problem, they have to keep the car for two days. She gave me an appointment for a week later to bring in the car. Before going to Nissan, I checked with other repair shops, and they all said that they would have to keep my car for two days to find out why the battery was being drained. Nissan never said that. They took 4 hours, then told me they could not find anything. It was not until I said I would go get a second opinion, that they changed their mind to keep the car for two days, and said they would not charge me! Note: She walked into the waiting area where me and a male customer was sitting. He overheard the conversation. When she said the diagnostic showed no problems, the man quickly said that in some cases that will happen. The term he used that would cause that to happen, I don't recall the name, but she did not dispute what he said. As she was taking me to the checkout station, she said my brakes needed replacing, and the total would be approximately $450. She said it would be that price if I still had the same brakes that I had when I bought the car. I then told her that when I talked to engine shops about my car, and they said they needed to keep the car for two days, that I then decided to go to Nissan, because I have never allowed any shop to keep my car overnight. Only Nissan has ever kept my car overnight. I did tell her that in 2017 my car broke down with engine problems when the car only had 83,000 miles. I took the car to the Nissan dealership where I bought the car brand new. Nissan wrote up an estimate saying it would cost approximately $3,000 to fix the car. I became suspicious because I only had 83,000 miles. When I bought the car it came with free oil changes for the life of the car. I never missed an oil change, and whatever the dealership said I needed during the annual inspections, I paid for that service. I called Nissan corporate. They contacted the dealership and told them to leave my car in the lot. I then contacted the California Department Bureau of Automotive Repair. An agent came out to the dealership, and requested that an independent auto shop look at my car. It was determined that I needed to pay a relatively small amount to fix the car. Six months later, the car's check engine light came on again. I took the car to a different Nissan dealership. They kept my car for two weeks! They gave me a free loaner. I kept calling and visiting the dealership asking about my car. They finally called me in and said that the car's engine was bad, and that the catalytic converter probably damaged the engine. He said that my service record for the car showed that I always got my oil changed, and other services, and that I was not responsible for the damaged engine. The service representative then said that the engine was still under warranty up to 150,000 miles, and that there would be no charges. My car only had 85,000 miles at that time. My car stayed in the dealership for 5 weeks! I kept calling and visiting the dealership asking about my car. I finally talked to a lawyer. He told me to send a letter to the dealership, telling them if I did not have my car in a week, that I would hire an attorney. I received my car within a week. As I was driving my car out of the dealership, I noticed that my air conditioner was no longer working. I never had problems with my air conditioner. I took the car back. They claimed my air conditioner needed replacing, and they charged me approximately $600. They kept my car for a few days. Upon picking up my car from Nissan, I noticed that my radio was no longer working. I never had problems with my radio. I was Irritated. I explained to the service technician that I wanted to watch the service man who would check my radio. As I stood there, he opened up my radio compartment, plugged in my radio, and that was that. I did not argue, nor did I file a complaint, I just got in my car and left the dealership. read more

We own a 2021 Nissan Titan and received a recall notification to replace the parking pawl, so I made an appointment with a different dealership in the valley. What the service technician failed to inform me was that they didn't have the part on hand and instead made me wait four hours to inform me of that fact. So I wasted 6 hours - including drive time - and I was livid. I then enlisted Nissan Corporate to advocate for me and they FAILED. I called Jerry at AV Nissan and explained the situation to him. He DROVE to the dealership in the valley THE NEXT DAY! Then he called me and I was able to set up the appointment to address the situation. The world needs more decent human beings like Jerry. I took my car to Antelope Valley Nissan because my battery kept draining. Nissan kept my car for two days and called me and said I needed a new fuel pump, and a new battery! They charged me $960. (Nisssn lied. A CD was stuck in my CD drive, and that was draining my battery)! I took the car home, and the problem was not solved, the battery was still being drained. After worrying and thinking for about two weeks, I took my car back to Nissan. I talked to the manager. I asked them to please open my backseat and show me the new fuel pump. The manager and the mechanic got very nervous. They refused to allow me to see the alleged new fuel pump! I asked for a full refund, and I got the refund. I called the California Department of Automotive Repair. An agent came out to inspect my fuel pump. The fuel pump was worn and dusty. AV Nissan is a total rip off. The service advisor Veronica Nunez is rude and unprofessional. I have had several rude/unprofessional encounters with her. My son took the car on December 2022 and February 2023 for oil change and advise them of issues with the vehicle of shaking issues (2019) Nissan Sentra. Took car back on March 22, 2023 and was told it would cost $190.00 to perform a diagnostic test which would be waived if repairs are needed. I called Veronica to get a status and to my dismay, it had not been looked at. I told her my vehicle had been there for 6 hours and they should have some answers by now, as I had an appointment at 8 am. She told me my appointment was with the advisor and not mechanic. I told her what she's saying doesn't make sense because the appointment I made was to get my vehicle serviced. I then asked to speak with the service manager but she claimed she wasn't available. I told her I was coming down there see what's going on. When I got there I spoke with Leilani and she went find out what was issue with my vehicle. She said per Veronica the mechanic stated he was not able to get a code but told me he informed her it was the Transmission (which is under warranty). I asked why wasn't I told this 15 minutes ago when I called her for a status. I asked Leilani if they were going to do the repair that day, she said per Veronica they couldn't replace the transmission without a code and told me to drive it for 500 miles and come back. Brought car back on April 8, at 8:30 a.m. with service adviser Lynda Jones, who called me at 9:00 a.m and informed me the vehicle had a code which indicated the Transmission need to be replaced. I was quoted the amount of $6,000+, I told her this should be cover under warranty. Said she would call for authorization on Monday and give me a call back once it's been authorize. She called me on Tuesday and informed me that she received authorization and there is a $500.00 deductible. I got a call on Thursday stating the repair has been completed (which was $2000.00 less then what she quoted me). Which I believe they would have charged me the $6000+ had it not been paid through the warranty, because they can't cheat a company they are affiliated with. When I came to pick up the vehicle I asked Lynda if the amount previously paid was going to be deducted from the $500.00, she stated "no, because when I brought the car in on March 22nd they had to tighten a bolt on something plastic underneath the vehicle. I said to her "that cost $190.00" I told her I was told something entirely different from Leilani by way of Veronica. On my way to pay the bill, I stopped by the Service Managers office, and asked her for the next nearest Nissian dealership, because I was very unhappy with their service, because of the rudeness of the service advisor Veronica (who happened to be in Managers office at the time) and the conflicting information provided to me from Lynda and Veronica. I told her I feel I should't have been charged the $190.00 because per Leilani by way of Veronica who said the transmission needed to be replaced according to the mechanic who test drove the vehicle. I felt they should have started to repairs on that day. I went back and forth with them regarding this, however, they refused to reimburse the $190.00. These people at AV Nissian are so rude, they feel they can treat and speak to you any type of way because they are they only Nissian Dealership in the Antelope Valley. They don't think people will drive 45 minutes or more to get good customer service. Well they better think again when they really start loosing their loyal customer. GET RID OF YOUR RUDE EMPLOYEE'S if you wanna stay in business. JUST A WARNING: Make sure you keep all of your records because I had taken my car in for an oil change, and was told that I needed to replace several item that had previously been replaced on a prior visit. Bought a Nissan kick from this place, about 15 days a dock hit my front window, there was no insurance that would cover the change of the front t window. It was going to cost me $975 the company satellite. Took it to another place after market, unfortunately they could not recalibrate the sensors. Then I took it to van nuys car dealer, just the diagnostic was $225, This Dealer in the anterior valley said, well you should have brought it here and we would have offered you some kind of discount, I called them before I took it to Van nuys assuring me that it was the same at every dealer. I had to pay full price of $225 because Antelope Valley Nissan dealer had nothing to do with Dealer in van nuys. So for repair to calibrate I brought back and they could not offer me any discount because it was not parts. They will not help you at all! knowing that we bought the car in May. I spoke to Jorge a salesperson asking for some kind of discount and he said he asked his boss. He had told me that he would offer me some discount. Then if you pay for service with a credit card, they charge you 3% more. So make sure you pay with Debit or cash. I would never buy a car here or in any Nissan place!! If you can avoid them period!! I came in yesterday with zero expectations on driving out with a vehicle specially not a new one. Jay Mendoza greeted us as soon as we got there. I explained my financial situation and he said no problem we will work something out. At first I was very skeptical but he still took down the information and a few minutes later he came back. He said look this is what we can do. We test drove a couple of cars and finally I made up my mind on the 2018 Sentra. When it came down to the price he worked his magic and got the price lowered on top of that the Sales Manager Jim Chandler came to us and spoke to me we went back and got me ever better prices and monthly payment. So I had the pleasure of working with Lucy Villa, the Internet salesperson and it was fantastic. She is very helpful and helped me find a car for my son within the budget we requested. We received a great brand new card and Lucy was the best salesperson I have dealt with for cars. She was personable and really cared that we got the car we wanted at a price we could afford. I highly recommend Lucy for any and all your future needs. Now the 4 stars was because I wasn't happy with the finance part when they "added" in a five year warranty and the individual never told me. They gave me a break on price after u caught it but again make sure you ask questions, read everything, and don't be afraid to challenge anything. Not a big deal just be aware. read more

My husband got a part cost $91 dollars and it was defective and he called and talked to a manager and they refused to give us our money back only reason he went to Nissan is cause he wanted original parts in his truck went to advanced Auto parts on palmdale blvd and the part worked fine.
