Really great place off the strip of Tulum. For tourists, this place will give you a good mix of familiarity but all in Tulum accents. Most venders here speak some level of english so its not too hard to communicate what you want. They have a variety of venders selling all sorts of food, but like the states, things are a little more pricy than if you were to go to the heart of Tulum. One thing I love about this place is that their general bar area has some great deals on drinks! I got a couple of beers, with chamoy and everything was roughly ~$3 (USD). We stopped in here quickly Friday evening since we saw there was live music. Seems like an entertaining low commitment place to hang out. Appears very kid friendly with a playground within the area. Since it was kind of quiet with mostly families and we were still full from dinner, we left shortly after arriving since we were looking for a different vibe. Pros: - free live music - free parking - super easy to get to as it's right behind the main road - lots of seating, which would be great for larger gatherings and parties - local artist vendor set up by the entry way - plenty of food and drink vendors that offered a good variety of different cuisines (ex. Festive medley of food trucks with a bar and playground. We arrived about two hours before closing on a Monday night and there were still a nice amount of people there including children. We have three small children, so they were very excited to see the playground and peers. The cocktails from the bar were delicious and we tried a couple of things from the food trucks. I cannot remember the name of the food trucks that we purchased from, but we had burritos from one spot and dumplings from another one that was Thai. Honestly, they were both underwhelming. A solid 5 out of 10. But we were just happy to eat some where the kids could play. I believe they have kids dance parties on Tuesday nights. I would definitely visit again if in town with the family. The place is a little off the beaten path and you are mostly around locals (not tourists). We felt very comfortable and would recommend to ppl visiting with children. read more

SCAM ALERT! when y pay y cocktail at the bar or to a waiter ask for the real receipt, not the credit card receipt. normally they refuse to give it coz they always charge y more than the real price, it happend to me twice. today i insist for my receipt, the ignore me then they play the "i dont understand game" then finally if y really insist they give it to you. surpris y gonna notice that y pay more than the real price, they always add mo amd expect to have a tip! They finaly refund me the difference but when i try to take a picture the manager jumps me, i protect myself then he run away..... Be aware that they do this scam with everybody, even if they come to your table!!! read more

My family and I came here on a Tuesday (salad night) after a recommendation from the Airbnb owner we were staying with in Tulum. There was a charge at the door since they had a live band. We arrived early in the evening, so it wasn't crowded, but it got busy by the time we left. We walked around and decided to have tacos from Tako Flako and empanadas from Carisa. My kid also ordered elotes from a vendor at the front. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had margaritas, and they were the best margaritas I had in Tulum on this trip. I wish I had known about Palma Central earlier; I would have come at least one more time before my flight home. read more

If you're in Tulum, you need to come here on a Tuesday for salsa night. It was super fun learning to salsa and the instructor was funny! When the band starts, everyone comes back on the floor and it's mesmerizing to watch. Their are some regulars that come out and it's like they're pros! There are lots of food options, but the best was the bbq one. Not the one by the bar, the one with the open flame! My husband went there so I don't remember the name, but it was one of the best things we ate the whole trip! Their garlic fries were on point too! I got an arepa, which had good meat, but their was rolled up deli cheese in there which I had to take out. It was overpowering and not good cheese. I loved the seating around, it's a good sized dance floor, and the bands were great. They also have vendors selling things, so I got a handmade bracelet that I'm still wearing today! What a special find, thanks Yelp! Probably about 15 diverse cart choices and a really good (if not terribly cheap) bar. Frequent live music and a very fun ambiance. Even has a kids area. My arepa was very good and my husband had the freshest tastiest empanadas I've ever mooched. This place is a vibe! They have a variety of food trucks/stands so plenty of choices to choose from. There is plenty of seating. They also have entertainment which was fun. I tried the King Pao Chicken at Asian Bodega. It was flavorful and pretty big portion. Also tried Empanada Argentina. Got the humita and caprese. They were so delicious! We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and our receptionist suggested this place to visit on a Friday night. We arrived about 9 pm and the place was packed. They have such a nice variety of foods to choose from and a bar with cocktails and mocktails. They offer sushi, hot dogs/burgers, tacos, bbq, middle eastern food, burrito, ice cream, crepes, and a lot more! We really enjoyed all the food, vibe, aesthetics, service, and the fire show! I came here my first night (a Tuesday), when they have salsa dancing. There are lots of little food places where you can order from, and then choose somewhere to sit. There were a couple very small tables, but mostly it was picnic tables that were under a roof-type situation. The bar area was also sheltered in case there is rain. This is when I was introduced to the famous "grasshopper salt" that they use to rim the glass for mezcalitas, and it's very standard in Tulum to use it. It's VERY GOOD, and I'm buying it for my own kitchen. The tacos were really good. A little heavy (fried), but made with love. I'm not even sure what was in them, but I tried two different kinds. There are also tables when you walk in where people are selling various items such as clothing or jewelry. There's a little playground area in the back, and there were children, dogs, families, couples, and friends there. Very chill place! read more

Was extremely lucky to find this place while in Tulum. It was conveniently not too far from where we were staying, as well. I first spotted this place on Instagram and thought - an area of Food trucks and live music, with a bar? I need to check this out! We walked from our Airbnb but there was plenty of parking available as well. You walk up and immediately can see about 8 food trucks. Burgers, South American food, pizza, churros, a coffee van and more! There is always a bar at the far end as well that had music the night we went (Friday). We tried the Torta and South American food trucks which were both incredible, followed by a dessert crape. Everything is reasonably priced but most prefer you pay in Pesos! Lots of big communal style tables, kids playing soccer in the grass and food options aplenty - definitely a place for the whole family. read more

This is such a cool set up I wish they had something like this back home. It's a fenced off park area, with 10 food trucks all lined up against the fences, with tables to sit, a large bar in the corner, and a stage for live music on the weekends. All the food in the food trucks is made to order, so you wait a few minutes, but with the bar you can grab a drink go to you're table and they bring it out to you. I tried 4 of the food trucks and there were great and cheap. The Arepas and tostadaria food trucks were especially good , highly recommended those 2. Drinks were great and cheap as well. The atmosphere of this place just had such a local vibe it was great. If you are in tulum for a night I highly recommend stopping here. read more

We came here on vacation 2 weeks ago and decided to check this place out as it came recommended on a lot of tourist lists. It's kinda hidden away on a side street, we missed it at first but there's usually a guy standing on the street corner with the "Palma Central" shirt on that can direct you in the right direction. It's a very nice outdoor area with lots of food trucks. The area is completely outdoors but there's also a shaded/covered area for when it rains. We first tried the sushi truck which was pretty mediocre, wouldn't really recommend. We also tried the asian truck in the corner and the burrito truck (I forgot what it was called by it was next to the sushi place) and those two were both really good, would recommend, specially the kung pao options! Also got some beers and a pina colada at the bar, which complimented the meal perfectly! Most of these place take credit card, but some don't, so just keep that in mind when coming. read more

This place is one of the most enjoyable things that I've done in Tulum. Think about an open place with a good variety of food trucks, place to seat, very clean restrooms, live concert and a big area for kids to play around. This place is definitely perfect for family who have kids looking for a fun dinner. My husband got a steak plate at a bbq truck (I don't remember the name) he loved and we enjoy some time with Rodolfa (owners dog) who welcome us in front of the truck. I got some pad Thai from the Asian food truck. That was ok. For desert we got some churros from a desert truck that was amazing. All the trucks serve the food in a cool plate made by wood. Over there you can find a nice place for drinks, the waitress came to us with the menu. Since the place is new, it wasn't too full, but from the quality that I saw, I am sure that this place is going to be very popular soon. read more

My partner and I absolutely LOVE this place! Our daughter loves playing on the playground, we love getting drinks at the bar, and the food is great! At night the lighting is so magical and it's such a great hangout spot for locals and visitors. Sometimes they have live music, salsa nights and Sunday farmer's markets.
