My oldest son really liked the mini hot cakes, from the presentation to the taste. My youngest ordered the oatmeal and really enjoyed it. My wife had the scrambled eggs and was not impressed. I had the Media Luna sandwich and wasn't really impressed either. We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, and a cappuccino. The drinks were the largest servings we had in Tulum so far. La Pebeta is a good, not great, option for breakfast if you are in the area.

I ordered a latte and was surprised by the extra charges to order coffee to go and to substitute for plant based milk. In times of COVID I would expect places to encourage to-go orders instead of charging extra. The reasoning I was given was "To save the planet" but wouldn't they then encourage to-go orders and plant based milk options if saving the plant was the true motivation instead of covering the costs of paper cups? Regardless, it was good coffee but the seating was not really socially distanced which makes it hard to want to stay in and sit down in leisure.
