Stopped in for a double espresso before dinner. Great coffee, atmosphere, and reasonably priced. 175 MXN for both espressos.

Solid coffee spot, very convenient location. Would go again if I was in the area but wouldn't make a special trip.

We stumbled upon Casa Banana while walking the beach road in Tulum looking for a dinner spot. It's…read morea Michelin guided restaurant and we were lucky to get a table on a Wednesday night since we didn't have a Rez. It's a very vibey spot with low lighting and a boho atmosphere. The highlight of the entire night was the baked fig appetizer! It was gooey and delicious! We also ordered the whole fish baked in the wood fire oven. The fish of the night was yellowtail. First time to ever eat a whole fish and wow was it good! For cocktails we got the Pilar, which had the lightest hint of hazelnut, and the Emerald whiskey cocktail. It was unique, but the Pilar was better. Service was very attentive and made great recommendations. Go check this place out and try and make a reservation for the weekends.

I've been eyeing Casa Banana every night we've been here and it felt so much more chill compared to all the surrounding party restaurants. It was the perfect stop for a reset. The vibe was top tier. So intimate and cozy, and it felt really nice sitting by the fire on such a chilly night. Our server Joaquin was so friendly and attentive and took great care of us. The octopus salad was so lovely, and the Argentinian chorizo was honestly one of the best chorizo I've had. Not very spicy, served with perfectly toasted focaccia and roasted vegetables. We also loved the pickled eggplant that came with it. They brought out complimentary toast and spread when we first arrived too which was so sweet. So happy we stopped here

We ordered the omelette caprese, fruit plate, açaí bowls, and a breakfast bowl. **The açaí was the best I've had in Tulum.** The açaí was so light and fresh, with a pure açaí base, not blended with yogurt or juice like most places. Adding a side of granola made it perfect. The fruit plate was great because you could mix everything into the açaí and my friends really liked the breakfast bowl and omelette. They also brought us teas in the cutest teapots. Open, airy, beachy, and super relaxed with super healthy food options. My friends and I really enjoyed our slow breakfast here

Welcome to Frescos. Lets get to the food shall we. Vegan Bowl - Once again, I can't reiterate enough to how partial I am to vegetarian dishes. All of the veggies from the Cauliflower, zucchini, broccoli, carrots all the way to the shallots had perfect texture and char. The mushroom is on point and the quinoa is a perfect supporting role. 8.9/10 The service was very prompt and intuitive. The atmosphere was nice and chill and I would definitely recommend. This place was super cute! The lady helping us let us try all the flavors we wanted which was super nice since I can be indecisive when choosing a flavor. The best flavors were coconut & coffee. It was super delicious. Although the texture was a bit different than traditional ice cream, I did love the coconut chunks. I also loved how the icecream was vegan free as well! It was about $12 USD for 2 ice creams which wasn't bad . I love the open space and the edm music playing! Super chill place to hang out.

There were a few people by the bar, but that's is. We were approached by some people telling us about some special ice cream that gives you energy before we could even walk in. It seemed skeptical, so we grabbed a table in the back. The bar was cool with car frames hanging on the ceiling. We got passion fruit mezcal margarita. The rim was lined with some red salt that was not tasty and our drinks were different shades of yellow (should be the same drink). It was not a good margarita by any means. I don't taste any passion fruit and it was one of the worst cocktails I've had here. The servers were smoking around us and it seemed like they gave the wrong bill to one of the other customers next to us. We quickly got our bill and left after the one drink I couldn't even finish. Not sure if it was an off night, but we won't be back. FYI the bathrooms here are nasty. Door won't close and no lids on the toilets. Save your pesos and go else where.

Better than most Thai food I've had in the US, and I'm from Seattle where you can find good Thai on every block. They operate as a Mexican spot for breakfast and lunch, then pivot to Thai food at night. I ordered a huevos rancheros style breakfast with a side of grilled plantains. Nothing mind blowing, but quick and easy way to start the day. They have a bunch of juices and other heathy options, so if you're feeling bloated from all the 2-for-1 tequila drinks you've been pounding for several days straight, they can get help to rebalance your qi.
