My name is Joy Farr I have been tanning for years. The manager Bri is very unpleasant. Very unprofessional, rude always on her phone. Not sure why she is even working there. As I was walking to my room to tan I could hear her telling her staff that she hates her job. I also don't appreciate how she talks to her employees. I could hear her screaming at an employee. I purchased 3 spray tans on 3/13/24. I used one that day. I asked at the time of purchase if the remaining tans would expire before the end of May, and I was told by the salesperson who sold me the tans that I would have no problem using them for my 2 scheduled events in May. I tried to use my prepaid tan this evening, and I was told they expired after 45 days and there was nothing they could do for me because only a manager could "get them back". I offered to pay for a tan today if it would be credited by the manager when they could "get my tans back". The salesperson called the manager on the phone while I was there, and she would not do anything to help me. read more

Called today for pricing, the woman who answered the phone was definitely not friendly. She sounded irritated that I was even asking about services. Called Garland location and they were very helpful and friendly. So curious, I called back to Mesquite, same voice answered and I asked who I was speaking with, Meredith was her name, she said she was the MANAGER. HORRIBLE service at this palm beach corporate is no better. Be prepared to get ripped off once they get your credit ccard info. I tanned before a wedding paid over $160 for one month, I have had multiply misc charges from palm beach since. My account was supposed to be froze under $10 a month to keep active just in case I wanted to again later in year. Lady looked me in. The eye and told me it was done I even remember asking her again is it ok she's like oh yah. Funny cause a month later here I am getting charged another $120 !! Corporate has nothing to say other than u can fill out a refund paper at salon lots of people do! Horrible customer service. I normally go to the one off of North Garland or Rowlett. The girls at those salons are awesome!! I honestly wish I had just walked out. I walk in the lady was super sweet, give her my info and she tells me which bed. She could've asked what I wanted to do. Instead, when I asked some questions she was bothered. I told her what I as wanting and she told me the same bed again and looked at the person behind me. Guess she was bothered that I was holding up the line for a mere 30 seconds. Even though this location is very close to my house, I will drive an extra 15 minutes to a Palm Beach that has better costumer service. For the longest the Mystic spray tan booth malfunctioned and the girls upfront made it seem like it was operator error and I didn't put the cartridge in right. Later on, when they replaced the machine, I found out the truth. On one occasion, I called to see if I had any spray tans available on my account, the girl told me yes. 10 minutes later I arrive to be told that I would have to pay for a spray tan because I used all the ones on my account already. I do not understand why every single person that works for palm beach tan has such a horrible attitude. I used to like this location, but the past few times I've gone they have given off the WORST VIBE EVER! They just stare at you when you walk in and sit on top of the counter and play on their phones. It's extremely unprofessional and beyond unwelcoming. Skylar, one of you your male employees has the biggest attitude ever. He looks at everyone like their iDiots when they talk. I've never felt so uncomfortable in an establishment. Every time I leave, I say "bye, have a great day" and I never even get a response. Palm beach needs to step it up, or myself along with 8 other friends that have memberships are stepping out. The mystic tan has not been working properly for over two months. It only uses half the bottle leaving a spotty tan at best. The staff will not tell you that it is malfunctioning because they want the commission on the bronzers and accelerators. Go to another location for mystic. read more

Worst customer service ever. Rep there was very unprofessional & doesn't know how to properly check people in, especially when it's busy. She, (wish I knew her name but I didnt get it) - was arguing with me after I told her she skipped me multiple times , never once apologized just said she didn't know my name to check me in, even after she asked me for it when I first walked in.I waited over 45 minutes to tan,one because I had arrived 10 min early but mostly because she kept skipping me! Usually a great experience.. Little to no waiting times for beds.. Merchandise available with a good selection.. Staff is friendly and always available when a customer comes in..Only issue is tanning beds/rooms not being cleaned completely and maybe too quickly. I stepped in someone's tanning lotion a few days ago and it was all over my foot. Then went to do a Mystic tan and there was water all over the floor that I didnt realize until I was barefooted and stepped into it. Overall, usually good experiences. I love coming here. Andrea, the assistant manager is by far the sweetest most professional employee this store has. Today I witnessed a customer throw the biggest fit about the 24hour tanning law and he was just being so rude and ugly even though he had less than 10mins left and Andrea and the other employee Danica handled it so well. Im writing this review simply for the fact that I heard him threaten them and say he was gonna write an ugly review on here about these two girls who honesty did nothing wrong so I'm just here to say he was in the wrong and not them and that these girls really were just doing their job and im surprised at how polite they were despite the fact that this customer was being extremely rude calling them names and mimicking them accusing them of lying about this law.
