He never lets us used the full time (which we pay for - it is called an unlimited package). My daughter went three times and he never let her go more than 6 minutes!!!! Yes, 6 minutes. She said, "Mom, just go to the other PBT on Payne. The girls are actually nice there and they allow you to go the full time on any bed." Today was the last straw. I asked for 12 minutes in bed 12. He said to me, THAT IS NOT AN OPTION. He gave me no reason why. He did not say it was occupied. He did not say the bed was broken. He just said NO WAY. He said I could do 12 minutes in another bed that has a maximum of 16 minutes. Does this sound like unlimited package to you? Or is it just unlimited attitude? Also, when I came in today. The door bell rang, but no one acknowledged me or came to the front desk for 5 minutes. So I nudged the door again to make sure someone heard me. When he came up front, he passively agressively "thanked me" for ringing the door twice. He was basically accusing me of bad behavior. He is always adversarial and passive aggressive and I doubt he lets anyone go the full time. He says he does not want you to burn. But I think he has a power trip with minutes, because he hates his life and people. I don't go to tan for an argument about how many minutes my body can tolerate. I pay for unlimited tanning and my body does not burn. I am sick of dealing with this pathetic excuse for a man. It is a shame, because I love the location and the franchise. He just ruins the whole experience. This is information was gathered over a dozen experiences between myself and my daughter. His manager should retrain him and put a camera on him. So either my lotion was $66 bucks and my tan was free or I got nothing free. Really a poor situation for someone that was giving it a shot and now won't go back. Save your money and shop around. The trainer immediately switched her attitude and became very abrasive about the whole situation, shutting down as if they couldn't grant me service because of it. She asked if I had an account, I said no, she said we can't help you. She asked if I had done this before, and I said no this is my first time here. I tried to ask about just a day pass or a single spray tan price. The girl's attitude was so blunt and came off very rude, telling me it was very expensive to do that, ranging from $35-60 with add ons. I said I'd be willing to pay for that, and she stared down at the iPad, said oh okay, very flatly, and tried to set me up. I decided this wasn't how I wanted the appointment to go, so I decided to leave saying her attitude and tone did not come off well and she made me feel ashamed. The girl was confused because she said her attitude was fine, but I left anyway. I understand the policy and was willing to work around it, but there were many other ways to go about it seeing as it was my first time, I was willing to pay, and I didn't know the policy until she said it. Her kindness and willingness to help me really blew me away. I even gave her a hug because I appreciated her help so much. That is rare to find today! Back Story: I'm currently in town visiting my in-laws for the month. I have a membership with Palm Beach Tan, but I always visit different Palm Beach Tan locations throughout the U.S. whenever we're vacationing/traveling. When I do visit a new or different store ... the staff usually does not greet me with the same kindness and welcoming attitude in comparison to my home store. The staff usually has a hard time finding my membership in the system, and then they're quick to rush me into a bed in order to help the next person. Kaylie was so patient with me, and quickly found my membership (despite being new). She made me feel more than welcome, took me through the entire store to show me all of the tanning bed options, and even gave me some tips and tricks to get a better tan! Some of the suggestions she gave me really worked, and I've been using these tanning beds for years! Out of all the Palm Beach Tan locations that I've been to ... I can honestly say that Kaylie has been the most helpful and knowledgeable. It was a nice surprise to be greeted with such kindness. This location is lucky to have Kaylie!
