Had a spray tan today by whom I think is a student and amateur tan artist. My wrists are horribly orange and I have streaks on the back of my arms. It felt like she was so close I could literally feel the spray going on in one line instead of a broad spray. I noticed it looked weird before I left and asked about it. Was told it would wash away. It did not. The young woman was super sweet and I don't fault her for learning on the job. I fault the owner who did not give any advisement when I booked the appointment at full price that it would be an artist that is still learning. I'm very disappointed by the service and the lack of transparency when making appointments. It is a disservice to customers. Im so embarrassed by my hands, which are hard to hide. Hands down the best airbrush tans I've ever had. Ever. Amy's formula/solution goes on so evenly and of my 4 tans, none have looked remotely orange or fake. I genuinely thought that getting a spray tan meant you had to live with at least some orangeish tint to your skin, but clearly I've spent way too many years going to too many wrong places. I love her technique - she sprays an area then drys it with her gun before continuing to the next which means I'm not super sticky at the end or trying to dry everywhere at once. The tans can be rinsed in 3-4 hours which means you don't have to sit around all day waiting. And seriously, I don't even smell afterwards!! Again - I thought the dreaded tan solution smell was just a sacrifice you had to make when airbrushing but not with Amy's solution. I can honestly say I wouldn't be afraid to get on a plane or sit in a closed space with someone after one of her tans. Every appointment Amy has asked about my prior tan and how it lasted/any feedback. One time I asked if we could go darker and she was super accommodating. She's a good listener and you can tell pays attention to detail. I've never had splotchy hands or feet after her tans and they haven't ever come off unevenly or awkwardly. If no scent and no orange tint isn't amazing enough to convince you to try Amy, the best part is she is super flexible covering the large DFW metro with mobile tans and doesn't charge an arm and a leg! It's as affordable as going into the airbrush studios but with the convenience of your home. read more

Today was the first time I got a spray tan. Amy did an excellent job. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go full nude or not due to the fact I am a little overweight. She assured me that she's sprayed people of all shapes and sizes. When I was there she kept me talking the entire time so I was not at all focused on the fact that I was getting my spray nude nor was I self conscience at all. My tan turned out beautiful. I am NOT at all orange tint anywhere not even in the creases, bends, knees or elbows. I can't say enough about how well she did. I would highly recommend Amy and her work. Sweetest lady ever. This is would be our first time ever getting a spray tan. She just did my mom and my spray tan, my mom wanted a darker look and I wanted more of a glow and she delivered! We love that she is mobile too so having her come to my house with my crazy schedule was awesome. I have gotten spray tans both by machines and humans at a lot of places but nobody is as good as Amy! Not only is she extremely friendly, she knows what shes talking about. My sister, my mother, and I all swear by her when we need a spray tan. She makes you feel as comfortable as you possibly could naked in front of somebody you barely know and does a great job. Her tans look extremely realistic. I did have issues with streaking one time but I think it had to do with my skin more than anything as my mother and sister never had this issue. I've used her several times as well as my family has and I wouldnt think twice to go again. I have had both Amy and Amanda spray me and they are both AWESOME! Amy was my first spray tan ever, but I needed color help for my upcoming bridal portraits. I was really nervous because I am super pale (darn Scottish ancestry!) and didn't want to look like a body builder. Amy sent me instructions on how to prepare for my spray and it was extremely helpful. She did a medium blend for me so that I wasn't super dark. It looked amazing! I had a bridal shower that night and everyone though I had just laid out that day. My pictures looked great! The photographer was even amazed that it was a spray tan. No streaks! Very even! I was nervous when my sister and I needed to be sprayed right before my wedding. Amy was on maternity leave and told me Amanda would be spraying me. Amanda did a great job and kudos for having to deal with my pre-wedding craziness!! We went a little darker than before, but it was needed because 1) it was summer and 2) the wedding was outside so I didn't want to be washed out by the sun. I probably drove Amanda crazy, because the bronzer started coming off a few hours after the spray (i didn't notice this before) and we started freaking out that the tan didn't take and we were going to have horrible white spots. She was so patient with all of my texts and promised that it was just the bronzer. She even offered to come spray us again if we woke up the next morning and saw any problems. Of course she was absolutely right... we were overreacting and the tans turned out great! SORRY AMANDA!!! The tan looked awesome and was very even. Overall, both Amanda and Amy make you feel extremely comfortable which is important because I don't just take my clothes off for everyone :) They are calm and patient with crazy people like me! Super plus is that you get to do this in the privacy of your home for the same cost as going to a brick and mortar store. They set up quickly and clean up everything before they leave. Also the tanning spray actually smells good. You won't smell like chemicals when you are done (i think it smells like cupcakes hahhaha). I have recommended them to all of my friends. read more

I tried Amy several months ago and I had a great experience. I tried her out before my twin sister and I used her for our 30th birthday. It was a fun and easy experience. She brings everything with her and you don't have to go anywhere. If you have a party of 3 or more she will bring wine and a bundt cake. We only had two but I think thats a great thing for if you have more of an event to use her. She is very flexible with her times too. We had a miscommunication on time and she came right over to fix it. She makes an uncomfortable situation very comfortable. My sister thought she wasn't as dark as she wanted and Amy offered up a touch up if she needed. She decided not to do it but it was so great of her to offer the touch up. She cares about her clients. I highly recommend Amy. I am about as pale as they come. I no longer worry about being the whitest girl at the pool or on the boat. I tried Amy's services right before a July 4th boat party and have been religiously using her since then. Amy is so easy to get a hold of. I found Amy via Yelp, she had the best and most consistent reviews out of everyone else PLUS she's mobile. I texted her the week of July 4th praying that she had an opening and she was so quick to get back to me to tell me she had a spot for me. She came right on in to my apartment and set up her spray tan tent. She gave me these cardboard cutouts to stick to my hands and feet so neither would have the solution on them...SMART. Who wants everyone to know you got a spray tan?? You can always tell when someone got a spray tan if they have the spray tan solution on their feet and hands. Problem solved for me thanks to her :) Anyways, once my hands and feet were protected, she gave me a hair cap so the solution would not get in my hair either. Then, she proceeded to mix the right solution for me. After she had sprayed me, she let me go look in my mirror to see if I wanted her to touch up any areas. At first, I thought it was too dark...but the next morning...when the bronzer washed off..I thought it was absolutely PERFECT and NATURAL looking. I went on that boat and received so many wonderful compliments. Everyone loved how natural it looked on me. I would say the spray tan for me lasted about a week and a half. Since then, I have Amy come every two weeks to keep my glorious, natural sun kissed tan. read more
