This was our first time here and everyone is very nice, but the woman who did my nails was not really sure how to do ombré and I asked her to fix it because ombré is supposed to look like one color blended into another and she attempted to, but it was still not what I had asked for. Please, please, PLEASE let your clients know if you are unable to give them what they are asking for. If they had told me they couldn't do it, I would've chosen a more simple design. read more

They do such a TERRIBLE JOB. The nails are thick, and I mean super ugly FAKE THICK. The people are very uncomfortable, it was a lot of awkward interactions. Do not ask for any cool designs. The people are just bad nails techs. They don't even push the cuticle down. I'm not a hard person to please but such a terrible experience. read more

Let me start by saying my nails look good! We were in a pinch and needed our toes done so it all worked out. I'm giving 3 stars because they were dishonest about pricing. They said that they had 2 pedicure options, one for $35 and one for $45. I asked her if she had any basic services and she said no. When we acted like we were unsure, a basic $25 pedicure magically became available . She also told me she didn't like my color and made me pick another one. The overall product looked good but I will not be returning. There are much better salons in the area. read more

My girlfriend went in today to get her nails done, she got a nice highlighter green color. The lady who did them was super nice and this isn't for her. They told her that the nails were dry and ready to go, by the time my girlfriend got home, she opened be door and the polish stripped straight off. The nails did not dry at all, 5 other nails are dented and cracking. I called the manager to ask if they could fix them or not and he just kept telling me "i don't know I don't know" then he hung up the phone. Good way to waste $50 I guess. read more

WORST. DO NOT GO. They recently changed owners and the service is not great. The guy is rude and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a license so he shouldn't be doing nails. I asked for an ombré and the lady there didn't know how to do it after I showed her a pic. She could have said she didn't know and I would have picked a different design. Waste of money. read more

I recently began looking for a new nail salon... And I was picky because I've been going to the same nail salon since I moved here. Then... I discovered mimosa nails! Mary was excellent and very sweet! I made an appointment for my lunch break for a full set and eyebrow wax and only had 40 minutes. She did an AMAZING job.. And with time to spare! My nails look natural... the shape and color is amazing! I'm very happy I found my new spot! All their prices are very reasonable... $18 full set or $22 pedicure. Eyebrow wax was $8. read more

The eyebrow lady is JUST THE BEST. the prices are low so yes some of the work may not be the best and yes the salon doesn't look all that pretty inside. but I mean the eyebrow lady knows what she's doing I usually get my eyebrows done with her and then when I go to other places I can instantly see a difference. the nails aren't all that great I got my pink and white nails from Kim and she did an amazing job unfortunately she doesn't always have the time do my nails last time I came a young man did my nails and he didn't do as great as Kim's. I was in a rush when I went (I had to catch a plane fight) so he rushed through the service. read more

Seriously? Don't even bother coming here. The manager is very nice, but the manicurists leave little to be desired. The only reason I came here today is because it's very close to my house. Normally, I go to a nail salon in Rowlett. They give you drinks there. I digress. Granted, Mimosa does good eyebrows, but today was awful. A young man did my manicure today. A dry manicure. No water, no soaking, no nothing. I had to tell him what to do. He filed my nails and trimmed my cuticles without soaking them first. Then, he decided he wanted to put lotion on my dry hands (nail dust and all) not allowing me to wash my hands first or let the lotion or oil to soak through. When I tried to explain to the manicurist and the manager that I wasn't happy, she just directed him to put oil in my cuticles again. He, then, told me to wash my hands and put the lotion on myself. Nice. They didn't understand what I meant when I said I could have done that at home. Actually, I don't think they understood me at all. Sigh.... read more
