Whenever at a brewery I am always looking for a snack. My fiancé has a second beer and I have a snack. They were at bravo brewing recently and I needed a snack so order two cheese pastelitos which I believe is another name for Empanadas. They were only 3$ each so a great price. The wait was short and they brought me in two delicious crispy warm cheesy goodness snack. They had a lot of other tasty treats I want to try so I will get them again. Great food ! read more

One of my favorite local food trucks! Their empanadas are my absolute favorite! I love that they do a "special flavor" empanada each week on top of their normal selection! This truck is run by a wife and husband team and they are the nicest people! I love that they travel around to different breweries but also have a consistent location in Smithfield. Even though I usually get my food to-go, I do love sitting at the picnic tables they provide! Def check them out! read more

Had Pa'l Monte for the first time last night while visiting Smug Brewery. Started off with the pastelitos. Hands down, they were amazing and fresh. Also the little cup of sauce that came with the beef was great! Tostones were fresh and great. Had to go back for the chicharron de pollo, fresh and tender chicken with maduros, exceptional all around. I held back from being a fatty and getting more I would definitely recommend anyone that enjoys Dominican Puerto Rican food to stop and check out their food truck anywhere you see it. We ordered the Meal for 1 (rice, plantains and chicken), and the Taste of Dr and Beef pastelitos. I had noticed this food truck driving up George Washington Highway one day so I looked it up online, the menu looked interesting so one night after eating in Smithfield we decided to grab some food to take home to try later on. We originally ordered the meal with the roasted pork to split. The owner came over to the car to let us know they were sold out so we decided to try the fried pork tenderloin. He gave us an apple pie on him which was very nice. The service was very friendly and quick, they even brought the food right out to the car to us. I've never had fried pork tenderloin but it was very good. I have to say my favorite part was the rice it was perfect. It was just the right consistency it was nice and fluffy. I hate when rice is all sticky and starchy. I can tell from the brief interaction with the owner that he is very genuine and seems like a really nice guy, go check them out and support this local business! read more

This is a food truck at Seven Cedars Farm right on Rt 116. Their food is so good, and honestly probably better than anything I've ever had from any food truck. The beef pastelito was my favorite but honestly all the ones I've tried were delicious, and I don't know what the little container of pink sauce was that came with it but I'd eat a boot if it came with that sauce. I also had the pernil which was super tender. Big portions, crazy filling and the people are very nice, and BONUS, you can order online and then just swing by and pick it up.
