Service: was pretty quick from order to food in hand time. Very polite gentlemen with a welcoming attitude! Food: I ordered Tex mex &bbq w/ pineapple vanilla soda. I was definitely not expecting the flavors of the food to be what they were. The tex mex kind of tasted like a taco hot dog. It had a relish topping with the ground beef. Which again I wasn't expecting but wasn't bad. The bbq wasn't bad either, however it being a taco truck I had a very different expectation coming into it. The pineapple vanilla soda was refreshing. Again, the food wasn't bad I just wasn't expecting that from a taco truck. It is definitely its own unique take on tacos.

Tacofied was the perfect addition to our Taco 'bout a baby shower! The team was so pleasant to work with and our guests loved the slideshow of pictures that they put together for us! Thank you!

Tacofied came out and catered our 85th Anniversary celebration for Taco Tuesday and they were awesome! Everyone loved the food, they were super friendly, showed up on time and even personalized the truck with photos of our choice. They also played music and had lights on. It was a great time!

Visited Tacofied this evening at Westport Rivers Winery and a little disappointed with cold tacos and tortilla that seemed a little stale. Love the concept but the delivery did not meet our mouth weathering expectation. I did enjoy a wonderful black tea, ginger and lemon drink.

Meal deal: two chakra tacos and shop ba doop

Tried this out on Saturday outside Proclamation. The owner took our order from the food truck. He was super nice. I like that they had one vegan taco option(Chakra) and could modify the Walter. We ordered the meal deal for $10 (2 tacos and house made chips). Order came out within 7 minutes. Compostable containers is a plus. The presentation was pretty nice and portions were what you'd expect. The chips were so salty (and I love salt). The tacos needed salt. The coconut sauce was very good, but could use a little more spice and flavor. Maybe some fresh cilantro and a lime wedge too.

We were introduced to HG80 at the Buttonwoods Brewery where they set up a popup. You have to love their Mission Statement - "Untraditional Flavors of Tacos, Chips and Truck-Made Sodas Made From Scratch". Ever see the phrase Ethnic Tacos before? Well, that's what HG80 sells. Do you like a good Corned Beef Reuben? Indian Curry? Chicken Parm?, Buffalo Wing? How about Thanksgiving dinner? All have been transformed into some deliciously creative tacos. Even their house made potato chips get in the creative flavor act -like the salted maple or Thanksgiving stuffing spiced versions that were available. Want home-made sodas? Yup, of course they do those too. Tacos were priced at $4 each, or 3 for $11, or a combo of 2 tacos and chips for $10. I went with the combo. Taco #1 was a Woonsaco, with "Radical Roots Farm beef, onions, peppers, celery, tomato sauce, and hot spice". Taco #2 was an Indian Curry flavored Chakra, with "potato, onions, fresh tomatoes, crunchy cabbage, and curried coconut milk". I rounded out the combo with the Thanksgiving flavored chips. What a feast for just ten bucks ! The tacos were wonderful. Each had a base of two white corn tortillas which were jammed to overflowing with the taco fillings. Great spicy beef flavor in the Woonsaco. Great curry flavor in the Chakra, and some seriously excellent chips that sure reminded me of Thanksgiving stuffing. Way to go, HG80 -you sure made fans out of us.

Tacos packaged beautifully! Pardon the first bite out of one-I got hungry!

This is a really nice purveyor of different foods reimagined into the format of tacos. Their website describes the offerings as "your favorite dishes...in taco form!" I'm in! I was scrolling through grubhub one Thursday night when I was feeling exceptionally lazy. I saw their curious name, their byline and that they were open for only 15 more minutes. That grubhub mindset of a place being immediately more appealing because it's about to close reared its head but it actually worked out in a very, very good way. Their menu features unconventional tacos, potato chips, and sodas. I ordered a Walter taco (spring roll taco with chicken), Webber taco (cheeseburger taco-you can get it without cheese for a hamburger taco) and the Guvnah taco (fried fish). The selections are rotating so check to see what's available. Each of the tacos featured ingredients from local purveyors and the menu is entire gluten free. All 3 tacos were delicious and tasted true to their inspiration while still tasting like tacos, which is awesome. The attention to detail was evident, as well as the care in selecting the ingredients and flavor combinations. What's more, you could taste how fresh the ingredients were and how they'd stayed away from processed stuff. The tacos tasted decadent but sat well later, which was a huge plus. It's evident how well made everything is. HG80 operates in a way to help the local community however it can, with its "pay it forward" initiatives. It's a local business that exemplifies inclusivity without pretentiousness or the least bit of opportunism. Not to mention that the tacos are deeelightful. HG80, you make MY day. I'll be back soon.

(Forgot the name of the first one), HELEN (Greek Gyro taco), and Sistine (Chicken Parmesan taco)

My friend Mechelle wanted some street tacos and we decided on this restaurant based on the good reviews. We walked in and sure enough, there are only 6 tables in the entire place for a sit down meal....small, cozy and authentic. Since I speak Spanish, I said hello to the lady behind the counter and she was super nice and friendly. She brought the menus and asked what we wanted to drink, I said tap water.... We ordered some tacos and they were all Wonderful.... The corn tortillas were grilled and warm when they hit our table and the fillings were delicious. I had the chorizo, carnitas and barbacoa....all three were good, but the carnitas was outstanding...I will get that again next time I visit... My friend Mechelle got the asada and the shrimp and she loved both...the shrimp pieces were big and grilled.... Overall great service, friendly staff, excellent flavors and affordable prices... There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant and some street parking as well. If you love street tacos, this is the place...while there, I saw a plate of nachos go by and I will get nachos next time...their menu also has burritos, tamales, huaraches, quesadillas, etc....Lots of choices......

The menu is small and yet there's always plenty of yummy things to try when I go, even as a picky eater. There are multiple vegetarian and even a vegan option or two. I always have to get the guac when I come here - it's the perfect amount of creaminess without too much onion. Their red salsa is a great slightly chunky - slightly juicy texture and has a bit of a kick. The vegan burrito bowl is my go-to as a vegetarian, and the street corn side as an app is elite! It is a little spicier these days since the recipe was updated from on the cob to off the cob (I much prefer off for ease of eating and sharing!) The Coconut Cartel margarita was creamy and smooth and went down *quick* haha. Others in my party loved the spicy Margarito, although they were out of the main spicy tequila but the servers offered substitute recommendations. I came with a very large work group today, and the servers were so patient and flexible when we asked for modifications from the menu. I even was able to order the queso dip with the chorizo on the side (yummy but very thick cheese dip!), and they were very attentive of my colleague's mushroom allergy and made sure she got dedicated dishes, even when we were all sharing apps. The churro donuts seem to have changed recipe and got mixed reviews - some thought they were dry, another says she Uber Eats just those regularly Sitting outside in the summer on the patio is nice. Tasty, interesting dishes with modern urban twists on Mexican recipes. Truly the only slight downside is that sometimes parking can be tricky in this area, but you can always find free street parking, it may just take you a little bit. Even the funky and creative decor is a selling feature for me. A must-try!
