They serve light lunch and dinner fare including sandwich/burger plates, salads, soup/chowder, appetizers, loaded spuds, specials, plus fish & chips and baked cod on Fridays & Saturdays. They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

It took at least another 40 minutes for the food to arrive arrive We each had the two meat combo I had the Boston ribs with smoked brisket, onion strings, coleslaw, and cornbread. The ribs and the brisket had so much pepper that I could not taste the barbecue sauce. The Boston ribs were meaty, but at one end of each rib there were small bones, and the brisket was peppery and dry. I put extra barbecue sauce on the brisket, but couldn't taste it over the pepper. The meats and the onion strings were very greasy. The coleslaw was good. My husband had the brisket and a small dark meat quarter of a chicken. He also had the potato salad which had small ham pieces in it and a very, very sweet mashed candy sweet potatoes. Our lunch lasted over an hour then we had planned. We will not be returning.

We caught them at the Stanley Woolen Mill parking lot and ordered: Lobster Roll (Original Size) - $20.95 Harvest Turkey Sandwich - $13.75 Mashed Potatoes with Gravy - $2.50 "Call Tag: F Troop" Total with tip: $43.78 Once you place your order, you get a fun retro call tag. Ours was F Troop, while others got classics like The Brady Bunch. The soundtrack? The theme from The Monkees. Nice touch. About 10 minutes later, our order was up. The "original" lobster roll may be their smaller option, but it's still generously sized--served in a classic New England split-top bun and packed with lobster. Fresh, simple, and done right. Then there's the Harvest Turkey Sandwich--labeled "The BIG-ONE" for good reason. It weighs in at well over 1¼ pounds and lives up to the name. It's massive. Adding the mashed potatoes and gravy turned the second half of that sandwich into dinner later on, which worked out perfectly. Bottom line: Yummies Drive-Up is, in fact, very yummy. Tip: To reduce wait time, call or text your order in the morning. Skip the online form--texting is the way to go.

A new food truck appeared in North Kingstown lately so I had to try it out. Soulfull organic fried…read morechicken was a name too good to pass up. The menue board had two main options. Bone-in or boneless wings that come with either regular or sweet-potato fries. Each option has 3 sizes to choose from. I had to try each version so I got a small order of both. The chicken is hand seasoned upon ordering so that was good to see they weren't pulling frozen chicken parts out of a bag. The seasoning is flour and spices and not battered which adds to the taste and texture. The 'Soul' part of the name may indicate the preparation to some, but I didn't consider it until I was plowing my way through my order. There were two people ahead of me and I think the size of the truck makes it tough to make orders 'quick'. It took maybe 10-15 mins for my order to be ready. The hardest part was having to drive from the location in the Marriott parking lot back to work and smell my food the whole time. I finally got to my desk and was presently surprised by some well seasoned and lovely brown color tenders/wings and fries to match. The seasoning is very flavorful and provides the chicken with all it needs. Sauces or condiments are not needed for these wings. They stand perfectly on their own. I started with the tenders. somewhat small in size but very tasty. What really stands out are the bone-in wings. Nice crisp outside but incredibly juicy on the inside. Very delectable. They obviously move around, being a food truck and all, but it is worth keeping an eye our or even potentially making a trip. They take credit cards and offer sodas for $1.

And the handmade sodas, they need to bottle and sell that stuff. I know a bunch of people that would buy it (HINT HINT JOSH) Everything is fresh, gluten free and handmade from scratch. This little food truck is big on taste. And the staff, I can't say enough, Josh, Barbara and Kevin, you were all phenomenal, thank you so much.
