I've used this little office perhaps two or three dozen times and I've never had less than a perfect experience. I'm sorry to hear that the other yelpers had a bad time but it really looks to me like they were reporting experiences that had nothing to do the effort or expertise of the people behind the counter. The same two young adult women are always in the shop. I have asked their names, Marilyn and Kelly, and they take personal ownership of what happens in their clean and neat shop and the way that packages letters and small sundry mailing related items are handled. Honestly, I don't know what things cost compared to anyplace else because when I have to use UPS or FedEx, that's all there is to it. I have found their service consistently pleasant efficient and personal. Most of the time the work I bring them is paid for elsewhere by someone else and they receive no revenue for the jobs I ask them to do. So, last time, I brought them some flowers. That's how nice they are. And good. Like anywhere else, everyone is busy so conversations have to be brief, but I'm really pleased with how personable they make the small effort to be. Then again, maybe it's me! So while I'm sorry that other people claim to have had bad experiences with which they attach to the staff that is here, mine is been exactly opposite. You don't know me, but I have no problem writing severe and harsh criticism. That is not the case at this location. Marlyn sold the place and the new owners are deceptive and can't rely on forwarding the VERY important mail to me as she did for years. The manager ALAN from New York took my letters home and misplaced them, is what he said Then I kept calling him and only lies. I would not trust these new owners with my mail or packages... THIS WAS A MONUMENTAL ERROR AND THIS IS OTHE ONLY WAY I COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT. SO VERY VERY SORRY UPS STORE EMPLOYEES. I have always had top notch 5-Star service here until today. Today it was less than 1-Star. My husband dropped me off along with 2 quite large boxes to ship and then my husband left along with the car. I was shipping these boxes via UPS. The package was going back to Amazon. The young man with the earring in his nose (this isn't even a factor except I didn't know his name and it's the only way I can let you know who he is.) looked at the bar code and said I needed to take it to a UPS store where they were set up to handle this. I asked if there was another way to get a label to ship these boxes where they could do it. This young man absolutely would not even entertain the possibility of trying to help me. I put my 2 boxes on the floor and said I would have to leave them there until I could get my husband with the car. I am a 75-year old women. Luckily I am in pretty good shape for my age. This young man stood there and watched me. Still not offering to help. By this time I was trying to figure it out myself and was very nervous. I couldn't look anything up on the phone because of the stress. I walked out the door and thanked this young man for nothing. He proceeded to pick up my boxes and throw them out the front door. There were people outside that witnessed this. It was extremely embarrassing. I put them back inside until I could get the car which was parked down by Publix (my husband was inside, we were going to do some shopping). This was the worse type of treatment I have ever received from someone who is supposed to be helping the Public. This young man should not be allowed to work with the Public. I would not tell you to never use this place again, but, would say if you ever go in there and see a young man with an earring in his nose, do not expect the good service that this company usually provides.
