I commissioned Paint Studio SF to do a 1000 square foot loft floor in natural-looking microconcrete, and Nate and his team did an excellent job. They laid and finished the floor to a very high standard. Nate is a good communicator and took time to understand what I was looking for. He is polite, punctual and professional at all times. He and his team sometimes worked extra long days to get parts of the job done. I found Nate to be honest and trustworthy when it came to payment. The final thing I will mention is that Nate primarily runs a painting business and his aesthetic sense and understanding of light and color took the floor to a level above what I could have got from someone who only does floors. We contracted with Mr Bareman to paint the outside of our house. $1500 deposit. Discussion around scaffolding, permits etc. He assured us he was on top of things. Scaffolders arrive, no permits, then disappear, taking their scaffolding with them. Silence from Mr Bareman. Now he refuses to do work and refuses to return the $1500. We hired Nate to patch our living room ceiling which had a crack due to a water leak. Nate initially came for an estimate and, after agreeing on the price (which was very reasonable), he was able to finish the entire job within a day. He was very easy to work with and did excellent work. He first scraped off all of the detached plaster and then re-patched and repainted the repaired area. I asked Nate to do a paint job and he unexpectedly, completely transformed our space! We are absolutely thrilled. After a major remodel with multiple jobs going, Nate was the last person I hired to finish the house. He painted an interior room, the exterior of our home and the tunnel entrance. When I interviewed him, he was extremely detailed oriented about what I wanted and what that would mean for him and for me. For example, to do a good job on the interior room, he told me he needed to do some water remediation around the window. It looks better than it ever has. He continued to be extremely detail oriented in every part of the job. After my daughter moved back into her room, she accidentally chipped some paint.
