Edgar did an excellent job again! I asked him for an estimate to repaint wood deck and arbor in my backyard after 7 years from the previous paint. He kindly suggested to repaint garage door too and I agreed to include it. He gave a reasonable estimate and started working on it in few days. It took 3 days for the while project. I'm really satisfied with the results again! read more

Edgar and his team did a fantastic job in painting our front exterior and repair some rotted wood near our windows. Very happy with the quality and the attention to detail. Edgar was great to work with. He was very responsive, extremely patient and understanding when we requested changes and appreciated his feedback in some areas. His team made sure to keep the area neat and cleaned till the very end of the project. Highly recommend Edgar Painting. read more

Edgar and his team did a fantastic job in our two bathrooms. I asked them to mud the walls, change the window trim and paint the walls in one bathroom and to do the plumbing for a new vanity, change light fixtures and paint a second bathroom. They were clean, very conscientious and nice group of people. I have worked with my different contractors and really appreciated them for all they gave. The quote was exactly what he charged me. I would recommend Edgar D. Painting to anyone that needs painting or projects competed. read more

What an experience with a contractor should be. Responsive, attentive, mindful of details, and just fantastic overall. Edgar was super communicative, listened to my hopes for our master bedroom, and him and his team did a super quick and delightful delivery of painting our room a peaceful green with a contrasting ceiling. They had to paint on top of our closet, around mirrors and fixtures, and everything came out absolutely top notch. I am already hiring them again for a bathroom paint job and hopefully other projects in our new home. Thank you! read more

Edgar D. Painting - New color - Painters Near Me

I am pretty OCD, so all the smallest details and imperfections jump out at me whenever I repaint a single room, but this time, we wanted to repaint the entire interior of our humble abode - a much larger project! I called around to four different contractors, and I found Edgar and his crew to be both the most personable, friendly and straightforward/easy to work with. His prices were also very competitive to the rest. He provided a written quote via email, and once we specified the colors and grades of paint, his crew went to work. They put down all the masking and after a day or so of sanding and prep, the painting began... they arrived on time every day and were very efficient and worked in a very organized fashion. After a few days, the painting was finally complete. and even after a detailed inspection almost daily from my own OCD eyes, there was just maybe 2-3 tiny spots at the end that needed almost any touch up at all! Amazing for such a big house! Thank you Edgar & Crew!! read more

Edgar and his team did patching, sealing and painting of a portion of our triplex in San Francisco. They also replaced a small amount of redwood siding. Edgar is easy to communicate with and kept us up-to-date on plans. The team was very prompt, kept things neat, and cleaned up after themselves. Foremost, they did a great job stripping, patching, sealing and painting. Hardworking and nice crew! read more

I was so lucky to find Edgar. He was very honest and did a great job on my whole house external paint. Edger and his team took enough time to prep to finish. But price was reasonable. I really like how he handled the whole project. I had 5 estimates and he was the most reasonable painter. If you are planning to hire a painter, be sure to talk to him. I highly recommended him. read more

We just had the exterior of our SF house painted. Edgar's quote is the 2nd lowest among the more than 10 bids we had. We went with Edgar because he was able to get the job done in the timeline we want, and the quality of the reviews we see here on Yelp. Looking at the result I can now say not only is his price hyper competitive, the quality of work his crew has done is absolutely outstanding. The team was always polite, and went out of their way to accommodate us. I'd definitely go with Edgar again in my future projects. read more

Edgar and his paining crew are absolutely fabulous. 5+ for Edgar. I used Edgar twice (garage door painting) and interior painting. He is so professional, and takes his time with prepping for the painting (the most important part of painting, I think). His work ethic, professionalism and quality of work impressed me the most. I've worked with a lot of subcontractors and contractors over the years and Edgar is one of the best! Edgar and his crew did an excellent job on painting a cottage and the back of a 2 story flat in North Beach SF including a 3 story staircase. They did an excellent job prepping & taping & sanding prior to painting. Edgar also pointed out areas on my staircase that had dry rot & needed repair. I selected him based on Yelp reviews and all the great reviews are truly deserved!! Thank you Edgar and crew for a great job!! read more

Edgar and his team did an exceptional job with drywall repair and repainting our apartment after we had some electrical work done. He stuck to his quoted price, which was the best of the many options I compared, and his team was incredibly thorough. As a bonus, he was able to do some painting work on our metal window frames that other painting shops said would not be possible. I will definitely be hiring them again for our next job. read more

I had received a number of estimates from reputable painters on Yelp. Edgar's quote came in below most of them, so of course I was a bit skeptical. I figured any paint job was gonna be better than what I currently had and I wouldn't fret about minor issues because the price was right. Day by day during the 8-day process, Edgar arrived on time, was communicative, and finished the job early. I did a walk-around after each day of work, and was very impressed. The house looks amazing! Do not hesitate to have your home painted by these guys! read more

I've always hated the color of my cabinets / hard wood floors; felt very outdated or too much wood all around my home; which gave my home an older feel. Don't get me wrong -- I love my home, but I also believe that the home can use some minor upgrades! I reached out and spoke to 20 other contractors/painting places and Edgar's provided me with the most competitive prices, and a plus is that he has great yelp reviews + the photos that other customer's posted helps. My experience with Edgar has been nothing but AMAZING. He and his team worked on my cabinets for 4 days, although he said it could take up to 5. I appreciate his professionalism, his quick responses to my texts and his patience to all of my questions given I am a first time home owner, and the efficiency, cleanliness, and all around great work! I am now SO IN LOVE with the cabinets he and his team worked on. My home looks as though its a different home, and much brighter + more modern. Pictures below to prove it! THANK YOU EDGAR + TEAM. We will definitely use your services again. THE WISE CHOICE IS TO USE EDGAR FOR ALL YOUR HOME UPGRADE/REMODELING NEEDS! HE IS RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, KNOWS HIS S*** AND DOES IT ALL!!! read more

Edgard and his team are fantastic. Edgard painted our home, and backyard fences in July. Consultation: Edgar came out to quote our home within 3 days of our initial communication. His price was fair, he was detailed in explaining the process and I just had a good feeling about him. I asked him if we could also paint my door and window trim. He informed me that the material they're made of would peel within a year and wasn't worth the risk. I appreciated his honesty! I had no idea. Process: In 1 day he and his crew came out to power wash and prep. The entire paint job took 5 business days. His crew was professional, tidy with their supplies, and really friendly. Finish: The place looks great! We were so happy with how it turned out. Last month we had him back to install and paint our new front door, and we're having him back after Christmas to paint the entire interior of our home, can't wait! read more

Edgar and his team did a wonderful job painting our house He gave great suggestions on colors and what kind of good quality paint to use that would satisfy our house's needs He and his team were very helpful and respectful to my husband and I during the time they worked with us We would highly recommend Edgar and his team for any paint job read more

Excellent service. Arrived on time. Courteous. Very neat. Had the right tools for the job. Will use again!

We renovated our house and came into contact with many contractors, but our experience with Edgar was head and shoulders above any other person we worked with. He's the only one we feel compelled to leave a review for, the experience was so extraordinary. His communication sets him apart, he was always easy to get ahold of via phone or text, he provided regular updates, was transparent and had an excellent, positive "can do" attitude. He is a total pleasure to work with, he listens and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy every step of the way. We researched about six different local painters before going with him for his positivity, good references -- and also his quote was among the most competitive. The team he manages seem really happy and were incredibly professional. Their work was exacting, lines were straight, they did not leave until the job was done perfectly. Again, we really noticed how *nice* everyone was! In the course of painting the exterior of the house, there were several instances where we went back and forth or were unsure of paint color in different light or the trim or what color to paint the door, etc. Never once did he put pressure on us or lose patience, he spent time painting multiple samples in multiple locations so we could make the best decision all without complaint. He offered great advice and takes pride in his work. He really wanted us to love it, and we could feel his good will and kindness the entire time. He also uses top of the line paint and materials, which is included in the quote. All around a wonderful experience, could not recommend him more. read more

We're on day 2..first day was power washing with 2 people, second day was yesterday and there were 3 people total scraping and sanding the entire exterior. I was worried at first with lack of reviews, but gotta say how impressed I am so far. It's going to rain in SF for a few days so we had to stop..he'll continue afterwards. But after 2 days you can see the work ethic..on time, no BS, just straight work...can't wait to see finished project next week. Even asked to do a few small things like remove a camera, install address numbers and he's so willing. Also, they cleaned up the news like no one even showed up..my front area is so clean. So far so good..I'll update when he's done. Thank you Edgar for the work you have put in. Update: he did such a great job, we added on more projects - painting inside of home, and a full on demo/remodel of our old fireplace to a really nice modern look with tiles, a rebuff of hardwood floors, and custom made shelves by him and his brother. Living rooms looks incredible and job was less that 2-3 weeks. I'm trying to get him and his brother to do more work for us now..you can trust this guy. And that's the most important thing. Let me know Edgar on the other work we spoke about. read more

Edgar and his team were great for our indoor project. Not only did they do a great and thorough job, he was very communicative and completed in a timely manner. Good quality work for interior painting. The rates were reasonable and they were easy to work with with good communication.

It's not easy to find someone that you can trust...but I am so happy I found Edgar! Edgar and his team just completed the exterior painting job for my house 2 days ago on Vicente Street. Edgar is honest, straight forward and reliable. He's willing to cater to what we want and at the same time gave us great suggestions. For the week and a half, they cleaned up every day before they leave. And on the last day, Edgar and his team went through the entire house to check and make sure everything is good. We are so satisfied with the work and will definitely recommend him to anyone. Thank you Edgar and your team for doing such a fabulous job! read more

Friendly and professional. Edgar's team painted the outside of our house and our kitchen cabinets. It all looks great!

Edgar and his people did a great job on my window frames and sills in Daly City. I got new windows but the installers said they do not do any painting. My previous windows were deeper than my new ones which left more of the frame exposed all around the windows. There were holes and chipped paint which marred the appearance of the new windows. Edgar came in with the lowest bid and had great reviews. We got about 6 other bids. Edgar and his guys were clean and professional. It took them only 1.25 days. I thought there would be a lot of sanding and dust but Edgar did sanding by hand and patched up the holes and exposed wood before putting two coats of paint. He also covered all the furniture in case there was a lot of dust. He also painted the new frames around the outside of the windows. He even came back when we found some small missed spots around our kitchen window. Edgar was very communicative and easy to work with. I would recommend him and would call him for any future indoor or outdoor painting needs. read more
