I had a groupon for Paddy Wagon just sitting around in my phone for some time but I finally got to use it recently at the CD 102.5 summer fest. There was a small food truck court with some of Columbus' favorites. I'm not going to count against them the fact that the lines were long. The trucks didn't open up until 5 pm so everyone was starving! When I got up to the window to order the workers were efficient, nice and moving things along as quick as possible. I ordered the 3rd degree grilled cheese, which I was super excited to try based on some reviews I read here. I can't complain, it was a good grilled cheese. Maybe I had my expectations too high. Or maybe I just hold a place in my heart for some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had and it just didn't make the cut. Don't get me wrong! It was GOOD. But not the best I've ever had. I also shared the brisket tacos with my friend. Those are worth talking about! They were full of toppings and meat without being overstuffed and gross. The meat was super tender and sooooo delicious. I can't wait to track down Paddy Wagon and have those again! What I think I like most about Paddy Wagon is that it is a food truck serving quality food without being so pretentious. Yes, there is the funny cops theme (all the workers have t-shirts that look like police uniforms). But the food is just really good, satisfying sandwiches, not some cute, pretentious little nothing on a stick. read more

Paddy Wagon was very friendly, efficent and delicious! We had them at our church for a Food Truck Fest. The crowd was larger than expected but they handled it and never ran out of food. Heard lots of compliments about the food. Hugh success. read more

The brisket sandwich was great. The slaw and the flavor of the sauce together was a fantastic combo. Service took a while but it was during the Columbus Commons Food Truck Festival so there was a decent crowd. The only downside on the food was the bread the sandwich was served on was pretty generic and the chips that came with it weren't too remarkable. However the staff was extremely nice and overall this was a great choice for lunch and definitely worth the visit! read more

Paddy Wagon catered our wedding in downtown Columbus. Zach (owner) went above and beyond to communicate directly with our venue to negotiate to park in our preferred location (rather than a less convenient location the venue preferred). During the wedding, they were so well staffed and served our guests very quickly. We received many positive comments on how great the food was. It was an affordable, super yummy, perfect option. Highly recommend. read more

If you're hosting some sort of get-together, hiring the Paddy Wagon is definitely the way to go! The team drove from Columbus to our cabin in Loudonville to cater my now-husband and I's rehearsal dinner. They made the 90 minute drive, arrived and set up ahead of schedule, and fed everyone a terrific meal and even took a little time to hang out with all of us by the fire. Price was reasonable and we are STILL getting rave reviews from our wedding guests about the rehearsal dinner food! read more

I had the delight of getting the brisket sandwich at a food truck festival in Hilliard. I happened to be wearing my old T-shirt from my old restaurant and all of the crew recognized it. They were happy to talk with someone who had been in the industry, and described to me exactly why i would enjoy that brisket sandwich. It was really excellent. Moist, tender and flavorful. Sauce was perfect, sweet and slightly spicy. Pickle and chips were a perfect compliment. Watch out for this food truck. You don't want to miss that brisket sandwich! read more

If you get one thing from Paddy Wagon, make it the Bourban Braised Brisket Tacos. Everyone is doing it. Read the reviews. They were AH-MAH-ZING. The brisket was like butter the way it melts in your mouth. There is some slaw thrown in there for the crunch factor and the sriaracha sour cream sauce is something that should be on every food I eat. I want to hunt this truck down wherever they go. Eating those tacos was like giving my stomach a little hug. It just made me happy. That's how you know food is good. read more

Husband had the 15 to Life; I had the grilled cheese. Best grilled cheese ever. EVER! Next time I'll add the brisket. Guys on the truck were fun and friendly. They carry the paddy wagon theme throughout the menu and I recommend anything with the 5-oh! sauce. read more

Visited this truck at the food truck fest. I got the 3rd degree grilled cheese for $5 and was not nearly as impressed as everybody else seems to be. It was still fine (mainly because it's impossible to make a bad grilled cheese) but wasn't any better than a typical grilled cheese made at home. The cheese was just two barely-melted slices of Kraft American, the portobellos and onions were nothing special. My husband got the 15 to Life which was $8 and just okay. Overall the food was alright but my money would have been better spent elsewhere. read more

I don't take pleasure in doing this but feel compelled to give Paddy Wagon this review. My wife, toddler son, and I were at one of the trucks today, standing out in 85+ degree, humid weather waiting for an order of hummus. There was NO ONE else in line aside for some women shooting the breeze with the employee who was taking orders. Over 15 minutes go by and the order finally comes out (throughout this time, there were no other customers who came up to the truck). The description read pita and veggies with the hummus, but all we got was the hummus and pita. It took them over 15 minutes to scoop out some hummus, cut up some pita, and then not even have everything that comes with the meal. Turns out, they were out of vegetables. I asked for my $5 back and promptly left. I hope this was an isolated incident, but I know I'll never be back. read more

Our firm, M+A Architects, recently hired Paddy Wagon to serve during a charity event with Habitat for Humanity. The event consisted of having the Paddy Wagon team set up on a closed street in the Linden neighborhood, serving over 150 firm employees, Habitat volunteers, and community neighbors. Anthony and his term served everyone with kindness, quickly serving the large group with no line at any point and ultimate efficency. People raved about the food, saving it was some of the best food they've ever tasted, truly making our event a success, which is unbelievable considering how reasonable the cost was. I can't say enough about how kind, accommodating and wonderful Anthony was. Highly recommend Paddy Wagon. read more

I've had the food twice now in two weeks, both at the Little Rock location. Both times has been this guy taking and serving the orders and he is a jerk. Don't ask any questions about the food cause he'll give you a stupid look and short answer. They have been out of something both times too and messed up our order. The food is excellent when made per menu. I gave the 2 stars because of the service, not the food or location. read more

The 15 to Life sandwich was absolutely the BEST sandwich I have EVER had! Great job officers! We also had the grilled cheese. It was fanatic to! Great crispness on the Texas toast and the caramelized onion are amazing! read more

It's been a while since I've visited the Paddy Wagon and there wasn't any of my food-truck favorites on High Street Friday. So would my third visit be the charm? Nope. The cool truck and friendly staff are the pros. The Cons? The 15-Life beef was scooped from a warmer, already saturated with sauce, upgraded at $1 per extra (and I received 2 out of 3 that I ordered). The chips were pulled from the bottom of a bag. And it just wasn't very tasty, certainly not $11 worth... The concept is cool and I'm sure this is a money maker. In keeping with their law enforcement theme, I felt like I was robbed. read more

Tasty, but tiny. The 15-to-life brisket sandwich is really good, but the portion? Minuscule! That's really my only complaint, but it's a pretty significant one. Plus, they need fries or tots or some fried potato besides chips. You only get, like, 10 chips with it. It's a bit of a rip. read more

We had the Paddy Wagon for a birthday party. They were really great. Everyone thought the food was fantastic and a lot of fun. The Deputies made sure everything went well and the service was fast! read more

We get a food truck at work every Friday but today I go out and really wanted to try the brisket sandwich... I asked if I could get onions on my sandwich instead of coleslaw and they tell me they can't do substitutions and I'll have to pay $1 for some onions on my sandwich. I said never mind and left. I posted the ridiculousness on their Facebook and they tried to come back with "generally in the food business" we have these margins for foods but since we use organic ours are higher. I can bet that scoop of onion you would have put on my sandwich wouldn't have cost $1. I would fully understand an up charge on extra meat because it does cost more, but ONIONS?!? I was a food service manager for 6 years switching the 2 items I asked for wouldn't have done a thing to your food cost. Also in the customer service industry I've learned the motto is the customer is always right, is that not the case with your dinning establishment? But then to not only not respond to what I said about their "food cost issue" on Facebook they also deleted the post. So obviously they don't want honest feedback either. I have never had somewhere let me walk away from purchasing their food for wanting to substitute a veggie for a different one, that is just absurd. The sandwich is almost $9 and you can't switch out Onions for coleslaw.... Patty Wagon, more like PETTY Wagon! read more

Over July 4th weekend, we had the Paddy Wagon to feed 80+ family and friends. Everyone, and I mean everyone, loved the idea and the food. I would definitely use them again. read more

Hired to provide food to our clinical staff for 2 1/2 hours and ran out of food other than grilled cheese within an hour with no solution

I liked the beef brisket sandwich I got from PW. I would not go and search it out but when they are parked at work and I forget my lunch they are a solid option. read more

Paddy Wagon's food is pretty darn good. The "15-to-Life" Brisket sandwich (quite large) and the Bourbon braised brisket tacos (small/medium serving) are fantastic. Toppings are very fresh. My friend loved the Billy Club Wrap. Prices are on par with all the other food trucks that visit OSU. read more

Tried this for 2nd time. Had the grilled cheese added brisket, it was good but wished they used better cheese of course it would cost more. Ordered hummus and expo (person adds topping etc) said they were out the cashier had to point out the hummus right in front of him in individual container. The expo guy yelled at grill cook, few choice words exchanged and got back to work. Not the quickest food truck. read more

I used The Paddy Wagon for my baby shower last weekend and It was amazing! Seriously the best decision food-wise I have ever made! Everyone was soooooooo happy and loved the food. The service was amazing and honestly we will be spreading the word because it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Every single person at shower raved over and over how great everything was. I would love to leave a review on whatever platforms you guys generate business from and we will definitely be reaching out in the future for events and I know some friends will definitely be too. I can't thank you or the amazing staff you have enough please share this with them because they honestly made everyone's day yesterday with how great they were! I have people texting me today telling me how they are day dreaming about the food yesterday lol! The menu had something for everyone and the brisket tacos and sandwich were definitely big faves! The salad with beets looked amazing too. Actually if I could have tried everything I would have! read more

I've gotten the Billy Club a couple times now. Both times delicious. Delivered very quickly. Super friendly on the phone when I called. I'll definitely be ordering from Paddy Wagon again. read more

Ok, the food deserves 5 stars. I had the brisket sandwich (sans bread) and it was truly delicious. However, the service was horrible. We hit up the Paddy Wagon at the Commons for food truck Thursday and literally waited 30 minutes to get our food!! Too long on a lunch break. My friend, who ordered right after me, had to wait an additional 10 minutes while others who ordered after her got their food first. No apology, no refund, no explanation. Your food is certainly yummy, but we will never wait in your line again!! read more

The truck was at our office today in Dublin. I ordered the 15-life sandwich with bacon. The sandwich was awesome and the salt and pepper chips were good too. I highly recommend! read more

Had THE BEST Portobello sandwich of my life from this truck!! Every ingredient complimented the other. It was so well balanced and every bite was a perfect bite. New to Columbus and will be stalking this truck for sure!!!! read more

The paddy wagon was very fast, friendly and food was delicious. The paddy wagon set up at our business and we had a great experience. We definitely will have them back in the future! Before leaving at the scheduled time they made sure everyone ate and were satisfied with their service. The two gentleman working the truck were very friendly and made it an excellent experience. read more

The brisket sandwich was alright, probaby a 3.5 star, but I'm rounding up. The sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer. It was greasy though as evidenced by the grease soaked bun and drippage all over the paper boat. Will try with bacon and pepperjack next time. I was ok waiting 5 mins for this sandwich, but if you wanted me to wait an hour at Columbus Commons on Thursdays, I'd pass. read more

We have worked with the Paddy Wagon 2 years in row now for our yearly company event. Not only is the food amazing, but the employees are also fantastic. We had so many compliments from our first office function, that we decided to hire them again this year. We had an even bigger turn out and the usual rave reviews. People loved it! They have a great variety of food and even the pickiest of our eaters were able to find something yummy. read more

Went to them at food truck fest. Order line was not long but took almost 30 minutes before my order was ready. Saw my sandwhich sitting on cutting board for awhile had to ask them to give to me. Grilled cheese was not worth the wait. read more

While the food may be good, the service is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! Very slow. I stood in line way too long for 2 tacos and listened to the cook talk about going to a strip club. Shut your mouth and cook. I will not go back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would definitely do so! The owner Zack has committed on multiple occasions to come to my place of employment and has cancelled. He said it was his generator today but according to his facebook page he was at Pearl Market. I even confirmed the booking last Thursday. I will NEVER book this truck again and I recommend the same to others. Unreliable and very unprofessional! read more
