My 15 to life. Crisp pickle, yummy Cole slaw. A winner.

Wow wow wow. Hubby and I went to a Consolidated Electric event with 3 food trucks. I checked out Yelp reviews, and this was the one for me. We ordered 2 Fifteen To Life. The pickle was crisp. I loved the coleslaw with red cabbage in the sandwich. The brisket yummy. Ample portions of everything. I tend to save everything I really like for another meal. I saved this. I have at least half of my sandwich. I noticed this food truck in Columbus. They were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. It was so good. I am a happy camper. Brisket top-notch and I do brisket myself.

Bourbon - Glazed Brisket Tacos and Hummuscide

Paddy Wagon had a pretty long line during the Martina McBride concert at the Columbus Commons. But they kept the line moving, the food fresh, and for the amount of people they were serving it went fast. I ordered the Bourbon Braised Brisket Tacos, which was an order of 2. They were good, a bit messy. I also ordered the Hummuscide (hummus with pita and veggies) which I liked more. The veggies were cool and refreshing and the pita was warm with a bit of flavor. The ratio of hummus to veggies/pita was spot on.

I had the brisket. It was very good but pricey. I asked to leave the slaw off and add onion, peppers, mushroom. It was a $12 sandwich. They had to stop taking orders and the cashier helped prepare food before they took orders again. The wait was a little long. All in all it's a good food truck.

I stopped by this truck today. They were at my complex. They have a very small menu. I had the brisket tacos. The flavor was good, but the brisket was a little chewy. The other tenants seemed to really like the food. It doesn't bad, just not something I would seek out. The cook was more friendly than the order taker. I felt like he should have been more enthusiastic. He also couldn't answer questions about the menu to another customer. Overall it was okay.

Now that we've finally got some warm weather, Columbus Commons has brought back food truck Thursdays! I believe it begins at 11am and runs til 2 pm. I guess I'm not only reviewing Paddy, but food truck Thursday in general. I would highly recommend arriving before 1:30, as food trucks may run out of food, depending on volume. I noticed at least 3 trucks shutting down shop around that time. There were 10-12 trucks altogether. All 3 of us made a beeline for Paddy Wagon. I really wish they had a burger on their menu, but my bourbon glazed brisket tacos were delicious. I paid extra to add pineapple to mine, but I ended up picking them off. They were clearly canned, and had a strange flavor. I will ask for light slaw next time as well. A little too much. The meat and sauce had great flavor though! Just a bit of heat which I loved.

    Brisket sandwich. SO GOOD

The 15-hour slow smoked brisket is phenomenal. There was the exact right amount of spice and BBQ flavors. And the kettle chips are amazing! I kind of got ripped off on the chips (only received 7 little chips) and the fact that they were so good and I barely got any makes me sad. But for $7 total that sandwich alone was worth it. The wait time wasn't too bad, considering they are shredding the beef and toasting the bun fresh for you.

Love this place!…read more Came in here last weekend and sat outside for a warm spring evening. We did make a reservation somewhat last second, but were easily able to get an outdoor table. We actually got to the restaurant a little bit early and they ended up seating us outside, which was perfect. For food, I had the fried chicken sandwich with french fries and mac & cheese. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich as well, so we each got a different side. The chicken was perfectly cooked without being overly greasy or oily. The french fries were delicious, and the macaroni and cheese was heavenly. Our server was very friendly and intensive to our needs. I felt like our food came out very quickly. Overall great time here and can't wait to come back. Love going to this place in Cincinnati as well, so I was very happy when they opened one up in Columbus.

Everything tasted fresh and balanced, the chicken was seasoned well, and the mix of greens, corn, tomatoes, and that dressing all came together really nicely. It was one of those salads that actually feels like a full meal, not just something you grab on the side. The inside was quiet I went in just as they opened I believe. Service-wise, it was just alright. My server wasn't bad, but they were in the middle of a team meeting, so I was kind of left on an island for a bit waiting on things. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, though. Overall the food carried everything and I'd still call it a good visit.

Started with their version of an Old Fashioned "Our Old Pal" which features squash infused bourbon. Now, who in their right mind would find that a good thing? The waiter said it was very subtle, so I had to try it. It was nicely prepared and tasted like an Old Fashioned. We had the Brussels Sprouts and charred Octopus for appetizers. The Sprouts were outstanding. Never had them prepared with blue cheese, apricots or toasted corn nuts. The Octopus and smoked sausage was also good, but I wouldn't order it again. For dinner we both wanted the chicken, which I have a rule against, so my daughter got that and I got the beef tips. The chicken was outstanding! The beef tips were good, but not great. Glad we came and gave this place a try.

Burgers and beef for the order of the day at The Rail!…read more Of course, other menu options are available, but beef selections are well prepared, succulent, and if that is your style of food, this is the right place for you locally. The Rail in Grandview Heights is one of the offerings for restaurants that have popped up since the development of Grandview Crossing. It is a welcome addition to the area and offers dining. That is a step up from simple casual or fast food. It has been my experience at this location. Reservations are not a necessity. However, I always recommend calling for reservations or making them online. A table reservation simply leaves less to chance. The staff are friendly and helpful and accommodating customer needs. All of my experiences here have been pleasant and high-quality.

My hubby ordered the Bootlegger burger with the BBQ sauce on the side, and I ordered the Bonfire burger; we also ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. I used Toast to order and was given a 15 to 20 minute wait time. Once we pulled into the lot for the restaurant we saw that they had designated spots for takeout, so we pulled in. It isn't 100% clear on their sign if you need to call them when you arrive; there is a number listed on the sign but that's it. So I called them to let them know we had arrived and the young lady ran our food out to us. It was smooth and seamless and we headed home. All of the food was hot and delicious! Nobody can make a burger like The Rail!! They are a little pricey; with tip, it cost $57.00. But you get what you pay for! We will definitely order takeout from them again soon. Next time I think we will just run in and snag our order since they have a convenient side door marked "carryout" separate from the entrance. Super convenient!!
