Classic with no bun for Keto diet. 100% all beef with cheese, chili and onions . $5.50

Food truck came to our work- the prices aren't bad at all for a food truck. Due to being on keto diet, I ordered the hot dog with no bun. It tasted good. Service was fast!

I really wanted to give this place a 4 star rating but just couldn't bring myself to it, so we'll go with a 3.5 star overall. The best way to find this truck is to head over to https://streetfoodfinder.com/, which is basically my favorite website during the Summer months. I've had many opportunities to try Angry Wiener but always passed it up for something else, so yesterday was the day. I really had two issues with the truck, and that's the lack of items and the pricing. First, they have about 10-12 dogs listed, but every time I've seen their truck, including yesterday, they've run out of half of them. Is it that hard to keep the items in stock? I mean, they're hot dogs toppings. Also, don't trust their site, because half the dogs listed aren't actually on the menu. I feel like they're better off putting like 5 core dogs that they know they'll have and get a dry erase board to put any specials up. Second, the quality of the dog in relation to the price just doesn't add up for me. I went with the Hawaii Fido (pineapple, red onion, serrano, cilantro, and chiles), Coal Miners Dog (Chili, coleslaw, onions, and mustard), and their Chicago dog. These were some good hot dogs, but were they any better than Dirty Frank's? Not even and Dirty Franky's is charging $3 for their's as opposed to $3.75, and Dirty Frank's are higher quality in my opinion. As far as my favorite dog of the 3, I'll have to go with the Coal Miners Dog, which is a coney dog plus mustard. I really enjoyed that one. The Chicago dog was pretty tasty too, but I think the Hawaii Fido left something to be desired. The toppings were basically made into a slaw, and I feel like the flavors ran together. I didn't try any fries, but they looked and smelled really good. The guys running the place are very friendly, and they get your food out to you quickly, like within a few minutes of placing your order, which is awesome for lunch. I would definitely come back here in hopes that they have some of their other dog options, but it wouldn't be my first choice in food trucks unless I was really craving a hot dog.

Fries, chili mac and cheese dog, and pulled pork with coleslaw dog. $11.

I had the chili dog with mac and cheese and the BBQ pork and coleslaw hotdog. The coleslaw was warm and too much liquid; it made the bun sticky and doughy. The mac and cheese chili dog was meh. The mac and cheese had very little if any cheese. The chili was tasty though! The fries were AMAZING. Super crunchy and fresh made. They had a delightful crunch and light flavor. I dipped in sriachi ketchup and it was heaven. Good gimmick, decent food. If I had the choice between this and another option, I would opt for something else. $11 for two small dogs and fries was a bit much.

OMG I absolutely love this truck! I have family in Michigan so every time I visit I get a coney dog because they are made different and taste so much better... well Ohio finally did it, the Angry Wiener has the amazing coney! And the chili cheese fries are just as amazing! I can't get enough of this food truck plus they have a little humor with the food! I'm in such a good mood when they are the food truck that comes to my work on Friday's.. again Love Them!!!!!!

Chili Mac Wiener with spicy brown mustard on a 1/4lb all beef. #Upclosesavor

The food truck came to Rickenbacker. Where there is not that many great dining options to choose from. A welcome change. With that in mind, Thank you for coming. I had the $6(prices vary per event) 1/4lb Chili Mac Wiener with spicy brown instead of yellow mustard. The split bun was toasted. The right touch for so many sloppy toppings offered. The dog tasted fine. I cannot notice any heavy sodium or special seasoning. The Mac & Cheese was a little disappointing. I like mine cheesy gooey. This, not so much. I was very happy that the chili is NOT Cincinnati style(way to sweet for me). No beans, and homemade. Big chunks of beef in it. The sauce had no taste flare. I always give high praise for good seasoning. The spicy brown mustard was not their own, but gave me the most flavor. To other coworkers who asked about it, I told them this... If they were down here again, I would go. But, I would ask for the dog to be split and grilled to add some grill flavoring. Now if it was an event where other trucks were present, I would be quick to sample someone new. Maybe the Coal Miner next time.

I saw these folks list on the food truck listings and I thought I'd give them a try. Today they were on the Village Green in Worthington.. They had quite a lot of hot dogs listed but for $4.00, I've had a lot better. I think that someone told them "buy a truck and print some money."

Fantastic food truck, that is very unique in the way they serve up their hotdogs. I tried two, first was the coal miner dog, and then the classic... both were in a word, FANTASTIC!!!! Some of the best flavors I've ever had paired with a hotdog, and I am a true hotdog fan (some would say, hotdog snob...lol) the quality of the products they use, and the cleanliness of the truck (inside and out) tells the story of people who love what they do, and care about what they serve to the customer. If you get a chance, you won't regret trying these dogs.

LOL. You pull up to an older house that's been converted into the restaurant, and it could use some maintenance :) but these are the kinds of places I love to find. Small dining area, maybe 6 tables seating 2-4 people each. It was warm today (Saturday around 1pm) and it was pretty busy both for dine-in/to-go and drive through. Unlike alot of other reviews everyone was incredibly friendly and service was reasonably quick. My onion rings and my son's tenders were HOT so they were fresh. Onion rings were pretty well done, but I like them that way. Others may disagree. I had a coney w/ mustard, chili, onion and it looked pretty unassuming. However, it was a little flavor bomb. I found the chili to be flavorful, and they use the tiny diced onions that were perfect for a coney. I went back for a second one with cheese. They were a little stingy with the coney toppings, but at least is was easy to eat. Maybe a little more cheese would be nice. Like someone said, the chili needs to be hotter, it was luke warm. PB and banana shake was awesome, with real chunks of banana in it. It was a hit with my picky 10yr olds and the price was definitly right for a tasty filling lunch. I'm a native Hoosier, so I'll have to put their tenderloin to the test next time and report back.

I tried Da' Meatball and since it was a la carte, I also ordered two Spicy Gyro Rolls with Hotziki dipping sauce. Wow! Watching them cook on Triple D and tasting the food for myself is a whole different experience than what I was expecting. Sure, the food looks good and it's interesting to even toss the marinara on the griddle, but it's mind-blowing in action! It's not a huge restaurant, but it is comfortable. I had a great conversation with a former Air Force Officer turned Firefighter. Bonus: I got to meet Andrew from the show and tell him why I was there! Don't forget about Loops; you have to give them a try!

I am from Chicago so I KNOW Italian beef. Loops "claims"…read morethey make Chicago style Italian beef but it's not true. 1) the bread is all wrong. They use like sub sandwich bread. You're supposed to use Italian bread which is slightly crusty outside and a little chewy inside. They literally just use sandwich bread shaped into a sub and it just soaks up the juice and is mush. 2) the Italian beef should be slow roasted and shaved paper thin and fall apart. The one I had was thick and tough. Was like a roast beef sandwich with warm juice on it. 3) giardinara completely wrong as well Anyways like I said, I was HIGHLY disappointed at Loops. 100% NOT Chicago Italian beef. Sorry.
