Service was prompt and very friendly and nice. The food also was served so quickly which was welcome because we were starving. We ordered spring rolls, calamari, papaya salad, pad see ew, pad Thai and ka pow. The dishes were all rather average, nothing really stood out. But if you're hankering for a quick and friendly Thai meal, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stop in.

I ordered the sticky rice and mango it tastes kinda weird. I didn't notice until i flip the mango. I hope I don't get sick. The mango look old. The crispy basil chicken is delicious.

I just realized Pad Thai Restaurant is a female owned business. Love to support small businesses, but it's even cooler when it's a female owned small business. I haven't had a single dish that I have not enjoyed here. This recent visit I ordered the Ka Pow basil chicken ( ground chicken). This was my first time going with the ground chicken. Found that I prefer it over the sliced chicken. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They are also good about asking you about how spicy you'd like your dish. I went with the medium spicy which has a decent amount of spice. This is a safe choice for an edible spice level. They are finally back open for indoor dining! They do require a mask. Another great food experience at Pad Thai Restaurant!

2/11/23 After doing some shopping, it time to get someone to eat. My wife picked the restaurant today and today it is Pad Thai. Tje ratings are high so we will see how things go today. We turned out to be the first guests so far. I went with the appetizer Chrispy Dumplings ($5.99) and my wife went with a meal of Drunkin Noodles aka Kee Moa Met the owner of Pad Thai Ms. Noi. A charming young lady full of wit and grace. I learned she is the onwer of this restaurant for nearly 20 years. It is a family run. The woman behind me in pink is Noi's sister (for name sake Shelly). The Chrispy Dumplings have no meat in them and are delicious. I ordered 2 of them. The Drunkin Noodles I did not try, because it is spicy...my wife loves spicy food. The music playing right now acoustic guitar with spanish themes. Not sure of the song. Okay I looked it up. 2 The Night (Fast Cars/4 Frank) Song by Ottmar Liebert. The music is setting the mood. Dessert turned out to be Sticky Rice with Mango. The mango did not last 5 minutes. The rice was okay for me, but I think I would have rather eaten a whole mango. I will be sure to let Ms. Noi know this for next time. Before leaving, Ms. Noi noticed my card for Relax Rite Massage. We had plans to get a massage and Ms. Noi was surprised to learn the cost was so low. I gave her information on who to see so she might make an appointment with Cindy or Amy. Nevertheless, we will come back here to eat later on this year.

Excellent food. Attentive service. Strip mall ambiance. I had seen this place for several months and my best girl & I decided to drop on in. Had an assortment of apps which were excellent. She ordered a green curry chicken that was flavorful & fragrant. We also had a side of pad Thai I wanted "something different" as I'm going to Thailand in 2024 and I'm not very knowledgeable about the food. So. Yes. Research! I asked the waitress and she gave me several options, including the "whole fish".... When I saw MKT for price, I asked and she said "depending upon size, but about $40".... It's my birthday weekend so I figured Let me say the fish - whole flounder - was excellent! Tasty. Firm. Fresh as promised. Dessert of sticky rice was great. The issue came with the bill. I was presented a non itemized bill with a significant cost. (We were drinking waters).... When I asked "how much was the fish?", I was told "$65.99.... First time special price".... Ok. $65 is NOT $40 That said the food was excellent 9+.... Service was 9+ Ambiance is a 6 Pricing surprise was a 3!

While visiting our daughter at GMU, the group voted for Thai. We chose Pad Thai Restaurant for the convenient location and consistent reviews. We were greeted immediately and ordered Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Chicken Lo Mein. The food was delivered hot within 10 minutes of ordering and everyone enjoyed their entree. The owner & staff were very pleasant and the restaurant is quiet enough to have a conversation. Music is playing throughout the restaurant. Great food with reasonable prices. Give Pad Thai Restaurant a chance next time your getting your noodle fix.

Nice little hole In the wall. Very clean Really good prices. Friendly and fast service. The have beer and wine options. The seem to have a lot of carry out business and a lot of repeat customers. The food is average quality. I ordered beef with my noodles and could not eat/chew thru 1/2 of the beef bc it was very fatty and not good quality. I had to spit it out in my napkin. My wife got the veggie version and was significantly better. White rice came with the noodle meal. We did not need it. But nice for hungry people. Be careful sitting next to the door, every time someone enters/exit a cold blast of air hits you. (I assume the opposite for summer.) I know it's only 3 star review. I will try them again.

Their decor is obviously very nice too but it is the food that brings me back. I really like this Sisters Thai, the food is consistent and delicious. To wrap up the meal, their desserts are always solid too! Their servers are friendly and easy going!

A cautionary tale…read more TLDR: Specify that you want your entrée served AFTER you finish your soup/appetizer and be clear about how spicy you want your food to be. The space is very small, maybe 10 tables. There's some parking that might be available in a small lot across the street and a half block away. I ordered Tom Ka Gai soup with Chicken, and Drunken Noodles with beef. Seems simple enough. And yet, there were three issues with these two dishes. I was really hopeful when they brought out my bowl of soup, mostly because it was a BOWL of soup and not the more typical cup-sized serving. The bad news was that the soup was tasteless. It consisted of a watery broth, some chunks of chicken, and a few mushrooms. (Issue #1). The six of us were two or three spoonfuls into our soups when the waiter brought our entrees. I don't know about you, but I like to finish one course before the next one is brought to my table, and I'm faced with having to decide which dish I want to let get cold. (Issue #2) In this case, the choice seemed obvious. I pushed the bowl of soup away and dug into my Drunken Noodles. Like many people, I typically order Drunken Noodles at Thai restaurants. I've had it dozens of times without any problems. I say "Drunken Noodles," they bring it (usually after I've finished my soup or appetizer), and I enjoy it. That's not what happened this time. This time, it was almost too spicy to eat. It was MUCH spicier than any other Drunken Noodles-es I've had. And I wasn't alone; another one of us could only handle a few bites of her food before giving up. (Issue #3) I may give this place another try, and if I do, my visit will include the advice that I just shared with you at the top of this review.

The restaurant is a longer, more compressed layout that has a lot of seating for a smaller space, but it can really fill up. The service is consistent across servers that I've experienced - they are neutrally friendly; the service is a little over the bare minimum, but not disappointing. They won't make you feel like you're special but instead like you're just another customer that they are going to feed and send on your way. No complaints. The food is consistently good, hence we keep coming back when we visit the area. We normally get the summer rolls, thai red curry, and pad thai. I had the lunch special here on a Friday and it was pretty darn good. Tastes were authentic but the "spicy" dishes could have used more spice. The lunch special offers 2 sides from among 3 choices: fried spring roll, papaya salad, or tom yum chicken soup. Since I had dining companions, I tried all three. The fried spring roll was average. It was not a fried stick of tasteless goo like at some other places. It had decent structure inside and good flavor, but it was rather plain. The sweet chili sauce on it was average and also had somewhat of an artificial pinkish hue to it. The tom yum chicken soup was similarly average but tasty enough to be satisfying. In my opinion, the papaya salad was the best of these three. It was crisp and fresh tasting, and had a good hint of chili spice to it. For entrees, we had the garlic tofu, drunken noodles, and chicken pad krapow. The garlic tofu came in a ring of undercooked broccoli. It could have been steamed longer or integrated with the cooking of the tofu and sauce. The flavor profile was lighter and less intense than at other Thai restaurants. Both the drunken noodles and the pad krapow delivered with familiar flavors, but underperformed on spice level. They were both denoted on the menu with 2 chili symbols but really came out weak (1 or less on the Universal Thai Spice Scale - UTSS). I'd come back here for the lunch special, or just to try anything else off the full menu, but I'd want to ask the kitchen to up their seasoning to match UTSS standards.

But the place was pretty empty, and I think I can understand why. The food here in my opinion is below average. I ordered a medium spice level Drunken Noodles with Chicken but I swear this was Extra Spicy--this is coming from a person that has a pretty high spice tolerance. Not only that, but it had a very tangy flavor to it as well. I've never had drunken noodles be this tangy. It did not taste right at all. This is one of my go to Thai dishes that I have ordered at many many restaurants. My husband got the Kob Kun Fried Rice. His dish was okay, but sort of strange. They kind of just plopped some crab on top (see pic) and didn't actually mix it into the fried rice. The crab they put on top was kind of cold, while the rest of the dish was hot. I thought that was odd. Even then it was better than my dish. So my husband, who has an higher spice tolerance than me, offered to swap dishes with me but even he could not handle it. It was spicy in a truly unenjoyable way. This sucks because I ordered a medium and they did not take that into account at all when making it. I had to do what I very rarely do--I asked if I could kindly send the dish back and I explained my issue. They were nice enough to let me order something different. I got the green curry with chicken. Sad thing is I got this mild in an effort to not have the spice issue again. However this time, my curry was completely sweet. I do actually like some spice in my thai food so this whole experience really sucked. I feel like I've made better thai curry at home, I will not be going back.

As we sat down, we were greeted with glasses of water along with a plate of boiled pods of edamame beans along with a sauce plate of sriracha & sweet soy sauce. Yummy. A sign of a good Thai restaurant is their Drunken Noodle & Thai Fried rice. We ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodle medium spicy & Thai Crabmeat fried rice. Let's see if it has wok hei? After 15 mins, our food arrived. The portions for both plates were above average. First the crabmeat fried rice. See the picture. Very colorful. There were large lumps of crabmeat as well as flakes/strands throughout the fried rice. I smell some wok hei. There was a side of spicy Thai lime juice sauce. It was good but odd that it came with the rice. The fried rice was very crabby in flavor and smell. But the taste was missing a little more salt. Here is were you order the Spice Tray. Throw some fish sauce with red Thai chilis. Or, what I did was mix some sweet soy sauce to elevate the flavor profile. Salty and sweet with the fried rice. The star of the show was the Chicken Drunken Noodle. So many flavors of spicy, sweet, salty & herby from the basil. Add some vinegar & chilis along with fish sauce & chilis to give the sour & umami flavors. The noodles were very soft and piping hot, even after 10 mins. Some wok hei too! This is probably one of the best Drunken Noodles in the area. Even my son said it was full of flavor & best he has ever had. Service was good. Our glasses of water were refilled multiple times. It's a little one higher end of moderate but the quality was very good. We found a gem! Definitely recommend & we will be back!
