This is a solid place for Thai food. Lovely fried shrimp cake--not too oily and light appetizer for around $10. The crab fried rice was a large portion for what you pay for--not a lot of crab but the portion size somewhat makes up for it. Very aesthetic and quick efficient service.

Three of us went to Supreme Thai Bistro for lunch. The ambiance was cute, with Halloween decorations adding a festive touch. They have a great lunch menu that includes a spring roll and a small cup of vegetable soup. We ordered beef with red curry, veggie with red curry, and chicken with panang curry. The portions were generous, the meats tender, and everything was delicious. Although the red curry came with two peppers, it wasn't spicy at all. The server was nice and attentive, making our experience even better. We all really enjoyed our lunch specials and would highly recommend this place!

Order to go on a random Friday. The lady on the phone was helpful in answering our questions since it was our first time ordering from this place. The food was ready in a reasonable time. The staff were friendly when picking up the food. We both got the Gai Yang combos. Which is chicken with something else. The portion size was big enough for two meals. The food was delicious & flavorful. We definitely come back & recommend to others!

Checkout this hidden gem thai restaurant! I loved the thai tea (not too sweet), spicy basil fried rice, crispy duck w basil, drunken noods, and the sizzling beef! The drunken noods had a nice kick and the beef was tender. The desserts were so delicious - i loved the mango sundae (mango sticky rice w coconut chocolate chip ice cream). The interior was beautifully decorated and had lots of seating~ definitely check this spot out for your next meal!

This is our second visit . Love their food . We ordered Kanom jeeb. It was ok . Description didn't meet expectation. Our next order was Thai special fried rice which was yummy full of flavor . Next was seafood wrapped in foil with a special curry sauce . It was good tasty . Mild version of Penang curry . Their name was different . So we were expecting a different special Curry . Nonetheless less food was delicious .We also got Lychee Bubble drink and Thai Basil gimlet . Lychee drink was good Didn't like the Thai Basil gimlet .Needed bit more sour and sweet . My only complain was they bought drinks , appetizer and main entree all together . Wish they first served the drink with appetizers then main entree .

My family's favorite Thai restaurant in Chantilly. We love that they have a kids menu and bring kids plates/utensils for them. And the portion is big enough that it feeds both our kids plenty. Their curries are my favorite, but I haven't had anything that I haven't liked yet in our many visits here. They serve alcohol other than beer and wine too!

Excellent. I love it. Roasted chicken w sticky rice, papaya salad. Crispy beef w spicy basil sauce.

I loved my lunch experience at Supreme Thai Bistro. The food was delicious and the customer service was great. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. I'm so happy I found this hidden gem. I highly recommend and will definitely visit again soon.

Cozy dining area with soft Thai music playing creates a relaxing atmosphere while I watched Thai food prep on the screen in back of their small, but well-stocked bar. My server doubled as food prep (you could see back to the kitchen), but was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Seafood Wild Dish. I'm always looking for an even amount of shrimp, scallops, and squid on any dish labeled "seafood." You get a small amount of each with even smaller bits of scallops. It's a mix of spicy and mild peppers, but the spice level definitely warrants the that they give it on the menu! If spicy food bothers you, don't order this! Everything was pretty good.

Chicken Panang curry with rice. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered.

We were in the area and thought to give STB a try. It was okay. Not the best Thai we've had. The panang curry was good. I asked for extra spicy and got it. The spring rolls were just bland. We've had so much better at other Thai restaurants.

I came here with a friend between the end of the lunch special (3pm) and the start of dinner rush. Needless o say, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. We ended up ordering the Duck Rolls (appetizer), the Green Curry, the Gai Yang Somtum, (Thai grilled chicken with papaya salad and sticky rice), and a Thai iced coffee. They accept credit card and we were able to apply the Yelp check-in offer and a coupon mailer. Food: Everything tasted good. Price: Guess we will attribute it to inflation. Prices have increased overall. For example, the Gai Yang Somtum is now over $18 when about a year ago it was just over $16. Not the cheapest mail, but you're not breaking the bank either. It's a pretty filling portion as well. Service: attentive and prompt. Interior: Clean and the decor was cute. Plenty of seating. Location/Parking: Near the pet store, across the street from the 7/11. Plenty of shared parking. If you are nearby and want some Thai food, I would recommend trying this place out.

So I lied about never coming back. My coworkers wanted to go here for lunch so I went along with them. Ordered the lunch special again, but this time I got the panang curry with tofu. This had good flavor so I updated the number of stars. There were some appetizers that I tried during this visit and all were good.

The restaurant is decorated cutely with lots of green and plant theme! The servers were nice and all the food we got was actually pretty good! Thai ice coffee - 3.5/5 nice balance of sweet and coffee flavor! Not bitter at all Thai ice tea - 4.5/5 strong tea flavor and nicely sweet! Really liked this drink Papaya salad - 2/5 very citrusy and refreshing. I think more of just my own taste and preferences but probably made well. Shrimp was cooked perfectly Drunken noodles - 4/5 medium spicy has a perfect kick! Very nicely chewy and bouncy and good flavor. Pretty light Pineapple fried rice - 3/5 good especially first few bites but I feel like it could be seasoned a bit more. Still solid. Shrimp cooked perfectly, chicken slightly dry Shaking beef - 2.5/5 very crispy and pretty spicy! A little too like fried for me? Wish it was less chewy and more beef but I think that's more of a me preference Mango sticky rice sundae - 3.5/5 next time just get the mango sticky rice. That portion of it was super good, nutty, coconuty, perfect chewiness on the sticky rice and nice sweet mango. They ran out of coconut ice cream so asked us if vanilla is ok. The vanilla ice cream was too thick and heavy, not the worst but not my type

The Khanom Jeep, a Thai steamed dumpling, was dry with a thick skin and a somewhat bland flavor, while the Kuay Tiew Moo Toon (stewed pork noodle soup in herb broth) from their Thai Select menu was outstanding. My wife and I finally decided to try this place after years of saying "one day". We've now ordered twice in the past 2 weeks. The first time we ordered the Ka Prow fried rice and the drunken noodles with medium spice and chicken. I ordered the lunch size drunken noodles and it was a good amount of food! They were the best drunken noodles I've had around here by far. And the Ka Prow fried rice was so smoky and full of flavor! It makes all other fried rices feel boring in comparison. This time I ordered the Kao Soi chicken. It had a delicious red curry sauce and two whole chicken legs with the egg noodles. I loved how rich the flavor of the soup is. The full grilled squid was something we ordered on our first time and it was also really good but I think a tad overcooked. I can't really speak to service other than the staff being friendly when I've walked in to grab our order. But the inside of the restaurant is cozy. We will definitely keep coming back here and highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The Papaya Salad is refreshingly balanced with the expected bright, tangy profile, while the perfectly cooked shrimp elevates it beyond the ordinary. The Crab Fried Rice impresses with generous chunks of sweet, fresh crab and skillfully prepared egg fried rice, though a slight sweetness keeps it from perfection. The standout Duck with Chili and Basil features remarkably tender meat beneath crisp skin, complemented by a flavorful sauce that is unfortunately thickened a bit too heavily with starch. The Seafood Pad Cha shines with its bold garlic aroma and perfectly cooked, tender seafood. Overall, the meal rivals our usual go-to Thai restaurant, making Chao Phra Ya an easy recommendation and a place we look forward to revisiting.

But what we did get was pretty darn good (if a bit pricey)! The style is much more authentic, so if you're looking for something like Hunan Cafe (Greenbriar), or that NOVA institution China King, this is different. Is it better? For the most part, yes. (But I still crave that Americanized sweet, spicy, glazey brown sauce that comes in slight variations in so many dishes). I had the hot and sour soup, Szechuan spicy fried eggplant sticks, Taiwanese rice noodles with fried tofu, and the Chengdu twice cooked pork. Everything was excellent, except....the hot and sour soup. Honestly, Hunan Cafe and China King beat the pants off this place's hot and sour soup. Here, it was a bit too sweet. It had some red chilies in it, but I could not detect much white pepper. And it's a vegetarian version, so no small bits of chicken or pork. I'd skip this the next time I order from here. But the other dishes... amazing! The noodles were light-tasting but still delicious. The eggplant was garnished with cilantro, garlic, salt, and red chili sauce. The twice cooked pork was sauteed with sliced leeks and the same red chili sauce. I think that's the fresh, zingy, spice flavor profile I like that can't be found at Americanized Chinese restaurants. Sure, China King has its place and I'll still go back there when I'm close (RIP China King Fair Lakes and Herndon). And admittedly, I go to that awful Panda chain occasionally because I never learn. The unfortunate thing is, I'll more likely go to these places than Cheng's because of the price. The pork dish was $21 and the noodle dish was $19. My total bill came to $60 before tax and tip. If I need to stuff my face with a Chinese umami bomb fast, I'm probably going to the other places for $15-30. I do want to try the rest of the menu at Cheng's, but it's going to be a drawn-out process for the sake of my wallet. I'd be remiss if I didn't include a comment from my dining partner. She compared the quality and taste of the food at Cheng's to Peter Chang's (either Peter Chang's-Herndon, or Mama Chang Fairfax). A high compliment. But she said the value is better at those places' AYCE options than what we got at Cheng's, and I agree. If you've been to none of these places, you have to try them all at least once.
