This Thai restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. We decided to go with recommendations from our server, a very friendly and charismatic guy who made the whole meal more enjoyable. I ordered a creamy fish dish that was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My partner went with the duck dish the server suggested, and honestly he couldn't stop talking about it the entire weekend it was that good. Between the delicious food and the welcoming service, it made for a really memorable meal. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving Thai food.

The service was absolutely amazing. Best Customer Service I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was great too. Then all the food below was next level you could tell it was fresh.

Last time we had come here almost a year ago. I had gotten the flu after eating here, I was especially concerned as I remember the waiter coughing without using a mask. We came back on upon the insistence of our kid, and the service is still friendly though very slow. The food is above average but the quantity is on the lesser side. Also, the parking for this place is a bit challenging, especially on weekdays but even today which is a weekend we had a hard time finding a parking spot.

Pretty good food and nice atmosphere. Chicken could've used more flavor. Service was very good and quick!

I've been eating here for many years, and it has never disappointed me. One of my favorite dishes is the chicken Pad Thai, though many of the other dishes are also excellent. We've also tried the rainbow trout, which was very good. The customer service is always excellent and very attentive.

Just got some chicken pad Thai and some Thai iced tea to go. The owners were extremely sweet. The portion was huge and it was absolutely delicious!!! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!!

This place is pure heaven! Starting with the exterior and interior, it's nice to have an al fresco setup while enjoying their delicious food. The interior is also quite charming, with all the tables beautifully painted. The service was amazing and very welcoming. Now, the food was on point. From the appetizer Nam Tok (their grilled beef), to the wonton soup, and the entrée Duck Curry, everything was a heavenly bite, rich with flavor. We visited on a Saturday night, close to a holiday, so it wasn't too crowded, but there were still plenty of people enjoying their meals. Overall, this is one of my top Thai spots to visit in the DMV!

First time having dinner with group of girlfriends. The owners are super duper sweet. Parking in this area is not great though. Restaurant itself is pretty intimate. The food came out quickly and was tasty. We enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered.

Lovely little place. 4 seats at the bar. A half dozen pickups must have happened while I was there on a Friday night. Tom ka was delicious.

Very solid 4! We love Thai and have lived nearby for years but tried for first time in Old Town Fairfax. Parking garage is a block away. We just loved how kind and welcoming they were to our family and came out with a fruit plate for our kid. Wow! Food was good and solid. Had the eggplant with chicken, crispy duck, fried calamari and fried wontons. There could be a little more oomph and flavor but we were happy. It's also much more clean and nice inside than I expected. Could def host larger groups. Will have to return and try more.

Courtside Thai Cuisine is a darling Thai spot in the heart of town. They have Indoor and Outdoor seating with a spacious patio. Outside is a charming patio with string lighting. It's very nice when the weather permits outside dining. Inside is quaint with several tables. The service is very good and everything we tried was delicious. Courtside Thai has become my favorite place to get my Thai fix. I dined here a couple of times now, and every time, it feels like I am in good hands. The owners are so courteous and attentive--they are just the sweetest! There is plentiful seating both inside and outside. The restaurant is decorated with fun and colorful decor, even the outside is decorated with seasonal decorations and lots of Thai peppers! You can find parking at a nearby lot or on the street. I suggest looking at Google Maps for options. My favorite menu items here include the Courtside Catfish, Thai Drunken Noodles, and the Gaeng Panang. Don't forget to order a Thai Tea or Thai Coffee to pair with your meal. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and you can tell it was made with love. Ask for the pepper/sauce tray if you want to add a little more spice to your dishes!

grilled mussels, scallops and shrimp- amazing!

Their decor is obviously very nice too but it is the food that brings me back. I really like this Sisters Thai, the food is consistent and delicious. Personally I love the boat noodles here, flavorful and well balanced meal that takes me back to my trips in Thailand. Their beautiful presentation does not take away from the flavor. To wrap up the meal, their desserts are always solid too! Their servers are friendly and easy going!

A cautionary tale…read more TLDR: Specify that you want your entrée served AFTER you finish your soup/appetizer and be clear about how spicy you want your food to be. The space is very small, maybe 10 tables. There's some parking that might be available in a small lot across the street and a half block away. I ordered Tom Ka Gai soup with Chicken, and Drunken Noodles with beef. Seems simple enough. And yet, there were three issues with these two dishes. I was really hopeful when they brought out my bowl of soup, mostly because it was a BOWL of soup and not the more typical cup-sized serving. The bad news was that the soup was tasteless. It consisted of a watery broth, some chunks of chicken, and a few mushrooms. (Issue #1). The six of us were two or three spoonfuls into our soups when the waiter brought our entrees. I don't know about you, but I like to finish one course before the next one is brought to my table, and I'm faced with having to decide which dish I want to let get cold. (Issue #2) In this case, the choice seemed obvious. I pushed the bowl of soup away and dug into my Drunken Noodles. Like many people, I typically order Drunken Noodles at Thai restaurants. I've had it dozens of times without any problems. I say "Drunken Noodles," they bring it (usually after I've finished my soup or appetizer), and I enjoy it. That's not what happened this time. This time, it was almost too spicy to eat. It was MUCH spicier than any other Drunken Noodles-es I've had. And I wasn't alone; another one of us could only handle a few bites of her food before giving up. (Issue #3) I may give this place another try, and if I do, my visit will include the advice that I just shared with you at the top of this review.

The restaurant is a longer, more compressed layout that has a lot of seating for a smaller space, but it can really fill up. The service is consistent across servers that I've experienced - they are neutrally friendly; the service is a little over the bare minimum, but not disappointing. They won't make you feel like you're special but instead like you're just another customer that they are going to feed and send on your way. No complaints. The food is consistently good, hence we keep coming back when we visit the area. We normally get the summer rolls, thai red curry, and pad thai. It's fresh, delicious, and something I look forward to enjoying when we are in town.

I had the lunch special here on a Friday and it was pretty darn good. Tastes were authentic but the "spicy" dishes could have used more spice. The lunch special offers 2 sides from among 3 choices: fried spring roll, papaya salad, or tom yum chicken soup. Since I had dining companions, I tried all three. The fried spring roll was average. It was not a fried stick of tasteless goo like at some other places. It had decent structure inside and good flavor, but it was rather plain. The sweet chili sauce on it was average and also had somewhat of an artificial pinkish hue to it. The tom yum chicken soup was similarly average but tasty enough to be satisfying. In my opinion, the papaya salad was the best of these three. It was crisp and fresh tasting, and had a good hint of chili spice to it. For entrees, we had the garlic tofu, drunken noodles, and chicken pad krapow. The garlic tofu came in a ring of undercooked broccoli. It could have been steamed longer or integrated with the cooking of the tofu and sauce. The flavor profile was lighter and less intense than at other Thai restaurants. Both the drunken noodles and the pad krapow delivered with familiar flavors, but underperformed on spice level. They were both denoted on the menu with 2 chili symbols but really came out weak (1 or less on the Universal Thai Spice Scale - UTSS). I'd come back here for the lunch special, or just to try anything else off the full menu, but I'd want to ask the kitchen to up their seasoning to match UTSS standards.

But the place was pretty empty, and I think I can understand why. The food here in my opinion is below average. I ordered a medium spice level Drunken Noodles with Chicken but I swear this was Extra Spicy--this is coming from a person that has a pretty high spice tolerance. Not only that, but it had a very tangy flavor to it as well. I've never had drunken noodles be this tangy. It did not taste right at all. This is one of my go to Thai dishes that I have ordered at many many restaurants. My husband got the Kob Kun Fried Rice. His dish was okay, but sort of strange. They kind of just plopped some crab on top (see pic) and didn't actually mix it into the fried rice. The crab they put on top was kind of cold, while the rest of the dish was hot. I thought that was odd. Even then it was better than my dish. So my husband, who has an higher spice tolerance than me, offered to swap dishes with me but even he could not handle it. It was spicy in a truly unenjoyable way. This sucks because I ordered a medium and they did not take that into account at all when making it. I had to do what I very rarely do--I asked if I could kindly send the dish back and I explained my issue. They were nice enough to let me order something different. I got the green curry with chicken. Sad thing is I got this mild in an effort to not have the spice issue again. However this time, my curry was completely sweet. I do actually like some spice in my thai food so this whole experience really sucked. I feel like I've made better thai curry at home, I will not be going back.
