If you're going for a beach holiday to England, make sure you Pack sun, because it rains all the time in my homeland. This is a swimsuit store which is pretty expensive but has some pretty sexy stuff. There's a reason it's popular in all the malls across the country, and a lot of girls that I know would love this place. Barbie thinks it's good, but she can find much sexier and cheaper swimwear online, so she doesn't tend to shop here. She does love to browse though, and when we came in to have a look while we were touring the Crossgates Mall they were not particularly friendly, but they did have a few good items on sale. read more

cute clothes, HOWEVER the experience is always awful. each and every time I'm in the crossgates pacsun every single employee is rude asf. last time, I stood at the dressing room for 10 minutes and when I eventually just stepped into a dressing room, a male worker (I'm a female) came rushing over and knocking on the door yelling that I needed to open up to show him how many items I had (I get it, but it could've been handled a LOT better). Besides last time, the workers are rude and snarky EVERY TIME even with just simple checkouts. one of the girls specifically (I believe her name is Logan) and an older woman stand around the store swearing and acting nasty towards all of the customers. as someone who never ever says anything, being in the store along makes me uncomfortable because it's such a judgemental zone of pricks. clothes are good but EXPENSIVE! i went there on black Friday do get some gifts for a friend, and a employee specifically said the the WHOLE store was buy one get one 50% off. i'm like okay great i'm gonna go to the brandy section. Once i got my things, i went to the register and a employee started scanning my things. They had a little attitude which made me more pissed, but the total added up being $40 when i thought there was going to be a 50% discount. I didn't want to fight about it, so i asked if they could check if i had rewards, and they proceeded to tell me that they aren't doing rewards today. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO KNOW! I'm only leaving this review because I was amazed by the rudeness of their weeknight manager... I was here a little over a year ago, so, June 2012. I was buying a skirt for my friend (which happened to be on sale). When I was checking out, the cashier was obviously new, and doing the usual upsales, she was very polite so I did not mind. She mentioned that if I bought one more sale item, I could get another sale item for free. I mentioned that I was not interested but thanked her and thought it was done. I thought wrong... The manager was behind the counter next to her and felt the need to chime in, she re-explained what the cashier just told me and again, I said thank you but no thanks. The manager then decided to insult me and speak very slowly, like I was an idiot and attempted to make me feel like an idiot if I did not buy another stupid sale item so I could get something for free. I explained calmly that I did not want anything else, regardless of the price and she rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath, she is lucky I did not care enough to hear. When I finally got checked out and was leaving the store, I heard the manager talk about me behind my back (literally). Instead of stooping to her level I wrote corporate about the issue and they said they would address this, hopefully they did and she is fired. read more

Extremely rude cashier. Stopped in to return exchange a pair of shoes that didn't fit right because of a zipper which I had tried to wear twice but found the zipper to uncomfortable, and had the receipt. cashier: what can i help you with as she was wiping her fingers off from greasy food, me: I would like to exchange these. Cashier, why is there something wrong with them? Me: no I just find the zipper too uncomfortable to wear them. Cashier: grabs the box and opens, pulls out the shoe looked at the bottom for a sec. put it back in said "worn" loudly and threw the box back on the counter. Then stated we don't return worn shoes. Me: no I only had tried to wear them twice, cashier: open box back up pulls the shoe out and yells to another girl holding the shoe out stating "worn" the other girl paused for a few seconds, the girl who was over 5 ft away who didn't even look at the shoe then said, we don't return worn items. The cashier then threw the box back on the counter and didn't say any thing else. I stated, wow, that's a first and walked out. On the way out the other girl said in a sarcastic way: have a nice day! I have never been treated like that when returning something and would never try to return something that was worn out. It was like a ha! I gotcha you moment when there was nothing to be got and a new pair of shoes with a receipt sitting on the register. Crazy...never buy there again read more

Me and my friend were at the PacSun in Crossgates mall. When we were checking out my friend had a visa gift card. When she swiped it, it said it was unauthorized, we tried more than once. Then the cashier suggested we call the number on the back as the card was probably not activated. My friend gave me the phone to call and it did not work for me so the cashier offered to call. She tried multiple times. When we're at the cashier what seemed to be the superior of the cashier, came up and said "this is taking to long you have to this on your own" when there was one other shopper in the store so it did not seem like she was in a rush. She made other remarks as well. After we tried and realized it was not working we decided to leave we thanked the cashier and left. I like their clothes, and the sales staff were more than helpful (one spent about twenty minutes trying to find a t-shirt with not much more than a few details to go on, and still tried to help find similar shirts when she discovered they were sold out), but the manager was easily THE WORST I have ever encountered in a store. I had gone to make a return of one of their shirts after changing my mind about the style, and when the sales associate brought the manager over to complete the return, he [the manager] continued to talk on his phone for several minutes while standing in front of me, clearly had no idea how to talk to customers, and obnoxiously told me to "write legibly" on a return slip. I have no clue how he managed to get his position, but if this is the way he usually acts with customers then I'm surprised he's still in the job. Really wouldn't have any complaints about the place, but that one bad experience was enough to put me off wanting to do business with that location again. read more

I had the absolute worse shopping experience in this store. I went shopping with my 13 year old daughter and was approached by the female manager there at the time. She immediately came up to my daughter and told her not to make a mess of the clothes on the shelf. My daughter only went through 2 shirts and she just gave my daughter the most offensive look as if she was dealing with an animal. My daughter apologized and moved to another section. While my daughter and I looked at other clothes, she was having an argument with a person on the phone. She was being very offensive and vulgar. In the meantime, a young gentleman with gauges in his ears approached us and asked if he could help us find what we needed. Not only did he cater to us but made wonderful suggestions that helped my daughter make great shopping choices. Thankfully, he rang us out as well as I did not want to deal with the salesperson who had approached us earlier. Before leaving, I asked her name and she just rolled her eyes at me and said Mayssa and informed me she was the manager of the store. She further said "what you got a problem with me?" in a derragatory tone. Almost as if trying to incite an argument. I calmly walked away and thanked the young man, who was lovely and walked away. His name was Cory or Cody or something to that effect. As I walked away, my daughter and I heard her call us a derragatory term. It is reprehensible that my daughter had to witness this so called "manager" treat her and myself so negatively. They should be thankful I made a purchase after how disrespectful we were treated. Thankfully, the young man there was able to diffuse my anger and help us coordinate a couple of nice outfits. I hope he gets treated with better respect than we were and if you don't and happen to look at this, I will say a prayer for you. The one star is given favorably towards the male sales rep who helped us, otherwise the rest of my shopping experience with this female manager there was horrendous. Hello! I am writing to you about an experience I had yesterday. I live in CT and have been looking for the Modern Amusement boys tee called " Dino Roars" in a small for my son. I've called all the Pacsun's in CT, looked on amazon, ebay, and modern amusement's website and its sold out everywhere! So I then decided to call all the Pacsun's in New York, hoping if they did have one they could ship it to any store in CT and I could gladly pick it up. The second store I called was in Albany and spoke to Anthony who really wanted to help me out. He knew exactly what I was looking for and asked someone from another pacsun location if they had any in stock. I then called the Wilton store where the associate I spoke to was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak to. She took down my name and number and explained that they still had shipment they were going through and if a small dino roar was in the box she would then call me back! I continued my search and called other Pacsun's incase I never got a call and got a hold of Bethany in Syracuse. Not only was she rude when she spoke to me, but of course the one store I find that has the small shirt won't ship to another store or my home! Even if I lived remotely close to that location, I would of continued my search beacuse she didn't go above and beyond to ask her manager or District Manager if there was anything she could do to send me this shirt. I worked at Pacific Sunwear 11 years ago at a little location in Meriden, CT that did close down recently, and I understand that folding clothes is hard but so is the economy and times are tough these days especially in this business so I would think if you want me to be a returning customer, find a way to send the shirt to CT. After trying a few more stores, I then called back Anthony for him to tell me Wilton found the small and they are going to ship it to Milford CT Post which is 20 minutes from my house! If it wasn't for him really trying to help me out, who knows if I would of ever found the shirt or returned as a loyal PacSun customer.
