I needed a storage unit for a few months for some garage kept items, like a snowblower, a pair of…read moretires, a few empty coolers etc. I got a mailer at home with all the wonderful features included: a reasonable monthly fee, no long term contract, video surveillance, free move-in truck, month to month. The place is spotless and new. Front desk personal were helpful, gave me the tour and quoted me a monthly price. As I'm about to sign, they tell me that my first payment is due now and its about 3 times the monthly price. SCREECH to a halt. Pro-rated rest of this month, second month, service fee. What about the free-month? That's the third month. What? Where does it say that? Nowhere exactly, but that's included deep in the "some restrictions may apply" language around page 17 on the the little credit card pad. I say, "Never Mind". They say, "What?" Yup, cancel it. Call it off. They offer to give me second month free. I repeat, they offer it. I agree, so now we're down to pro-rated one month and next month free, plus service fee. I put my stuff on a cart, take it up the elevator, load. Low and behold, I get an e-mail survey and respond that I think their "one month free" deal is deceptive. I get a personal call from a director level person who advises me that I'm not welcome. After my "free month", come get your stuff. I call to come get my stuff and they inform me that access by drive-in is limited to certain hours on Saturday and that elevator is not useable. (This is a brand new facility) They don't actually say this, they say something like, "Foot Traffic Only", which I asked them to clarify. So, I said, I have to bring my snowblower down three flights of stairs? They got mad when I said I'd put it on one of their carts and push it down the three flights unattended. It will be much easier to roll the tires down. I hung up on them. Going to get my stuff a week early. I can safely say that their biggest selling point is "We won't raise your prices every 3 months like Public Storage". PS: I wonder how many patrons fell down on their super slick drive-in coating. Maybe that's what they're repairing. I don't know.

Carts are always available, and the property, both inside and out, is properly maintained. As furnishings have come and gone, sold and donated, I have changed units numerous times. Fortunately, the manager Kyle has assisted greatly and reduced my stress levels immensely. He has made sure that my various units are clean with smooth/ functional roll-up doors. I don't get any "upsell" bs, and the advertised climate-controlled environment is accurate- storage with no musty smell. I've seen the manager checking temps, humidity and even cleaning the bathroom (hey, it's come in handy a few times). Yes, storage can be expensive but necessary for me; I'm pleased that at least my stuff is safe and accessible in a well-managed facility.

I drove 45 minutes there to find out that they didn't actually need me there to complete the work, after about month 4 they upped my monthly bill from 60-70 a month to $168/ month without any call, notice, or text message. after speaking to an employee they said that they should of sent out an email with the changes, I checked and never received a notice. So I cancel my membership, and have a month to clear out my storage unit. That entire month, my unit was located towards the back of the building which is easiest accessed by the doors on the left side of the building. Those doors were left un accessible for that entire month, forcing me to park in the front of the building and maze my way to my unit (10 minute walk). there's never enough carts, the ones they do have aren't maintained, and overall, I'd rather buy an enclosed trailer and park it on my lawn than ever storage anything with this company again. Save your money and don't even bother.
