The place is spotless and new. Front desk personal were helpful, gave me the tour and quoted me a monthly price. As I'm about to sign, they tell me that my first payment is due now and its about 3 times the monthly price. SCREECH to a halt. Pro-rated rest of this month, second month, service fee. What about the free-month? That's the third month. What? Where does it say that? Nowhere exactly, but that's included deep in the "some restrictions may apply" language around page 17 on the the little credit card pad. I say, "Never Mind". They say, "What?" Yup, cancel it. Call it off. They offer to give me second month free. I repeat, they offer it. I agree, so now we're down to pro-rated one month and next month free, plus service fee. I put my stuff on a cart, take it up the elevator, load. Low and behold, I get an e-mail survey and respond that I think their "one month free" deal is deceptive. I get a personal call from a director level person who advises me that I'm not welcome. After my "free month", come get your stuff. I call to come get my stuff and they inform me that access by drive-in is limited to certain hours on Saturday and that elevator is not useable. (This is a brand new facility) They don't actually say this, they say something like, "Foot Traffic Only", which I asked them to clarify. So, I said, I have to bring my snowblower down three flights of stairs? They got mad when I said I'd put it on one of their carts and push it down the three flights unattended. It will be much easier to roll the tires down. I hung up on them. Going to get my stuff a week early. I can safely say that their biggest selling point is "We won't raise your prices every 3 months like Public Storage". PS: I wonder how many patrons fell down on their super slick drive-in coating. Maybe that's what they're repairing. I don't know.

I was able to submit a quote; which was emailed back to me within 24 hours, with competitive pricing. The owner indicated he would participate in this move himself, to ensure a stress free move. I preferred organizing my items once they delivered everything; but they were very detailed making sure all items were in tact- especially my light colored furniture. No scratches or damages which is hard to come by when moving. Thanks for making my move so easy!

I called it, and the phone number is the general number for Extra Space Storage, it is not a direct line to the owner as it appears in the review response. Just an FYI. In the meantime the insurance company has contacted me with a massive laundry list of specific duties and assignments that I have to complete in order for them to review my claim and determine what payment I may get to reimburse me for Extra Space's old, faulty, leaking ceiling. It will be a HUGE project for me to get all of this documented. This is my busy season and I am beyond furious. Will post more updates as this progresses.

Called today to inquire about the elevator and was told they have not eta on when the elevators will be back in service! No idea when the elevator repair service was called and no idea on how we or anyone that has a unit on the second or third floor would be able to aces their units other than using the stairs. This has to be the worse customer service oriented facility or business I've ever interacted with. So at this point they are holding our items hostage with no way of accessing it. I drove 45 minutes there to find out that they didn't actually need me there to complete the work, after about month 4 they upped my monthly bill from 60-70 a month to $168/ month without any call, notice, or text message. after speaking to an employee they said that they should of sent out an email with the changes, I checked and never received a notice. So I cancel my membership, and have a month to clear out my storage unit. That entire month, my unit was located towards the back of the building which is easiest accessed by the doors on the left side of the building. Those doors were left un accessible for that entire month, forcing me to park in the front of the building and maze my way to my unit (10 minute walk). there's never enough carts, the ones they do have aren't maintained, and overall, I'd rather buy an enclosed trailer and park it on my lawn than ever storage anything with this company again. Save your money and don't even bother.
