    Stained mattress. Brand new.

The most expensive move I've ever paid for. Did the complete service of packing, storage, and moving. The guys moving and packing were very nice. My complaint is about management and process. I was informed day of the move that they don't put mattresses in mattress bags unless you buy them in advance. At no point was I asked if I wanted mattress bags. I figured that since I was paying for packing and storage the price would include proper packing and storage, no? It didn't even occur to me that a professional service would charge extra for mattress protection. They don't even bring them on the truck. So I had to go out and buy large format cling film because none of the hardware stores around me had large enough mattress bags. So the guys doing the packing and moving held the mattresses while I wound around them trying to protect and cover them so they wouldn't get dragged around. I called the management office and asked that they be put into mattress bags before they went into storage for a few weeks. He assured me they would. They were not. One of the beds (brand new) I am now having to have professionally cleaned. But that's not where it ends. Every box of glassware had at least a quarter of its contents smashed. I no longer have a complete set of any of water or wine glasses. Some as few as two made it. They were packed with cook books sitting on top of the glasses, not the bottom. The cardboard was completely crushed. So I knew it wasn't going to be good before I even opened them. Additionally boxes were unlabeled and put all over the house. Not the guys fault moving them in. But now I've got a bunch of extra work opening boxes up and figuring out where they go. I called the office and he told me and I quote-- "well you did move on one of the hottest days of the year." So, I guess when it's hot it's fine if all your stuff is smashed. ‍ A very expensive move that just keeps getting more expensive as I open up more boxes.

I really appreciate the hard work of the guys that moved me in. It was hot outside and they worked hard throughout the day to make my move go smooth. Thank you to Mike, Mike, George and Vince.

The place is spotless and new. Front desk personal were helpful, gave me the tour and quoted me a monthly price. As I'm about to sign, they tell me that my first payment is due now and its about 3 times the monthly price. SCREECH to a halt. Pro-rated rest of this month, second month, service fee. What about the free-month? That's the third month. What? Where does it say that? Nowhere exactly, but that's included deep in the "some restrictions may apply" language around page 17 on the the little credit card pad. I say, "Never Mind". They say, "What?" Yup, cancel it. Call it off. They offer to give me second month free. I repeat, they offer it. I agree, so now we're down to pro-rated one month and next month free, plus service fee. I put my stuff on a cart, take it up the elevator, load. Low and behold, I get an e-mail survey and respond that I think their "one month free" deal is deceptive. I get a personal call from a director level person who advises me that I'm not welcome. After my "free month", come get your stuff. I call to come get my stuff and they inform me that access by drive-in is limited to certain hours on Saturday and that elevator is not useable. (This is a brand new facility) They don't actually say this, they say something like, "Foot Traffic Only", which I asked them to clarify. So, I said, I have to bring my snowblower down three flights of stairs? They got mad when I said I'd put it on one of their carts and push it down the three flights unattended. It will be much easier to roll the tires down. I hung up on them. Going to get my stuff a week early. I can safely say that their biggest selling point is "We won't raise your prices every 3 months like Public Storage". PS: I wonder how many patrons fell down on their super slick drive-in coating. Maybe that's what they're repairing. I don't know.

On moving day, Eugene and the two other guys on his team were awesome. They were really careful and thorough with everything. They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. Overall, we were really happy with Albo and would definitely recommend them. Moving is stressful enough, so having a team that you can trust to actually take care of your belongings makes a huge difference!

I finally got a job in NYC, so I had to move to Jersey City. Being new to the area, I didn't have any idea of the movers in the Philly area. After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for hard working, honest, reliable and dependable movers
