Sean at Pack Life saved the day... or the trip, as it were! I was about to leave for London when the dog walker bailed. In all fairness, Kylee is a rescue and was abused so she has issues and nipped at her first walker. Still, it's a wee bit stressful trying to find a replacement at the last minute when you have a dog you can't board because she ceases eating and drinking. Sean was so easy going and flexible with my odd pick up and drop off times and even babied Kylee, in my opinion. She took right to Pack Life after her initial horror upon realizing that she is, in fact, a dog. To my surprise the entire experience was a breeze and a huge relief. Now I can travel and know Kylee's safe and reasonably happy. I wound up being very glad the dog walker didn't work out when I really thought about what those eight days would've been like for Kylee... 23 hours a day of wondering where the heck I was and if I was ever coming back. At the very least, her mind was occupied at Pack Life and hopefully she made a few friends. read more

Sean accepted the challenge of walking, entertaining and boarding my young and rambunctious and needy Siberian Husky, Koda....hence the nickname given by Sean to be 'Special K'. LOL! Special K loved Sean and his visits and overnights with Sean. He always came home happy...and even more behaved....I think we got a bit of free service in behavioral training!! And then...he even took on the challenge of taking both of my Huskies at the same time!! Luna...aka Looney Tunes. I would see Sean riding his bike through the neighborhood with the 2 running beside him!! This is an ART. Sean realized the energy these dogs carried, and he was determined to see that they had the best of times. Sean genuinely cared about my dogs...whether they were in his care or by chance we would be at the dog park at the same time...he would always acknowledge my dogs. Thank you Sean!! we miss you....we have not been able to find anything of the same out here in California. You are definitely a diamond in the RUFF! read more

Packlife Dog Care in Chicago's Ukrainian Village has been an absolute game-changer for me and my dog. From the moment we walked in, the staff made it clear they genuinely care about the dogs in their hands. The space is spotless, well-organized, and designed with safety and comfort in mind. My dog came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for--something that speaks volumes. What really stands out is their attention to detail. They took time to understand my dog's personality, routines, and needs, which made me feel completely at ease. The team is professional, communicative, and incredibly warm, giving updates that made me feel connected throughout the day. It's rare to find a place that combines expertise, compassion, and reliability so well. If you're looking for trustworthy dog care in Ukrainian Village, Packlife is truly top-tier. I wouldn't trust my pup anywhere else! read more

I first learned about Packlife and Sean Love when at a dog park in the city. Talked to so many dog owners that said he was the best of the best. I have small brother and sister Maltese/Yorkie mixes. I had tried about 3 different doggie day care facilities and was never satisfied. I called Sean to see if he had pickup/delivery since I had no car. I checked out his facility and it was incredibly clean and spacious. When at work I never had a worry. In fact, when working late he would keep them longer than he had to and would feed them when he dropped them off. Sean is kind and compassionate and bonds beautifully with our "children". When boarding at most places they will leave your dogs alone after 6:00 and don't return till the next day. I can sleep knowing that Sean stays with the pups all night with no caging, just couches. I would never trust my dogs with anyone else. read more

I've been boarding my dog here for a couple of years now, whenever I have to take weekend trips for work. This is a nice place to take my dog when she needs extra exercise. I love that this place is very large, my dog can actually get up to speed when she's chasing balls, or her daycare pals. She always comes home tired, so I know she plays and plays. I like that she gets to sleep on couches there, just like at home! Yes, she is a spoiled dog, but I really appreciate that I can just bring her by on short notice or whenever I'm in a bind. Sean and his staff are always very accomodating with us. I like that there is no minimum number of days the dogs have to be at daycare, and no extra charges for holiday stayovers. I can highly reccomend this place, your best friend will have much fun! read more

I strongly encourage anyone needing doggy daycare and/or boarding services to give Sean at Pack Life a call today. He offers great rates, pick-up and drop-off (including after-hours), the facility is very large, with expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, two air-conditioned rooms, doggy pools, and friendly staff. My dogs love to come and play with the other dogs at Pack Life! By the end of the day they are happy and tired, making our evening walks very enjoyable! The owner, Sean, is very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which is also a big plus as my schedule can change without much notice. My three dogs love Pack Life:) -- so will yours! read more

I highly recommend Pack Life to anyone searching for a dog walking or day care service. Pack Life been walking my puppy for over a year and he is incredibly reliable and professional. If my schedule changes last minute, I can send him a text and will immediately receive a response back. If I need to stay my dog over night or over the weekends Sean is always welcome to. Also, he is very organized and trustworthy so I have no reservations about giving him a spare set of keys to my apartment. My dog absolutely loves Pack Life team and I wouldn't trust him with anyone else. They truly provides a great service at a reasonable price. read more

I have taken my 2 dogs to Pack Life for a few years now, they always come home very tired from playing with all their pals. My dog Bella used is a very Alpha female, but Sean had no problems handling her..as well as my crazy energy puppy Vizsla! They are very reasonably priced and always accommodating to my last minute schedule requests and vacations. I also like that my dogs get to sleep on couches and love seats, and don't have to be in a crate or enclosure. Staying there is like being at home, except many more friends. I highly recommend Pack to anyone with energetic dogs that want them to be well socialized and very tired!! read more

I was very impressed with my initial tour of the facilities at Pack Life. They offered extremely competitive rates when compared to most of the other doggy daycares in the area and were extremely flexible with my schedule. I felt super comfortable leaving my Australian Shepherd puppy, Sherlock, there all day, and loved seeing just how exhausted he was every single time I brought him home. And, he absolutely loved his time with Sean and the rest of the Pack Life staff. I couldn't have asked for a better place to leave Sherlock while we still lived in the city and only wish we could have taken them with us when we moved out west! read more

Pack Life has been great for my dog, Bear. He is a big dog, so it's nice that Sean's facility has a lot of room for him to run around. He can be inside where it's cool or outside where he can play in the pools. Bear gets picked up in the morning and dropped off in the evening by Sean every week day. Bear is always tired out by the time he gets home from Pack Life. I have to go on business trips frequently, so it's great that Bear can stay with Sean as long as necessary. I've been very impressed by the care he gets when he is with Sean. I would recommend Pack Life to any one with dogs and a busy schedule. read more

I've been taking my two Golden Retrievers to Pack Life for a few years now. They always go crazy when we pull up in the car, so I know they love the place! Sean the owner, is always accommodating for us if i need to drop them off really early, or need to keep them there late after work. Often, he will take them to the dog park with his pack if its after hours. I've also boarded them there several times over the years, they sleep on sectional couches and dog beds, not in cramped crates or enclosures. I can highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a well socialized dog and a very tired dog. read more

There is not enough space to write how wonderful is there. My new puppy, Odissey, was shy around new people however he loved girls and Sean from day one. They helped both Odissey and me through the difficult first few weeks of us leaving him home alone while we were at work. It is clear that this great team take very good care of Odissey. Odissey enjoying his walks and playing with them and the notes keep us informed about any changes in behavior. I have complete trust in Pack Life and have no concerns leaving them our house keys and I know Odissey is in great hands read more

If Lucky could write (which he secretly might be able to do) he would try to add 5 more stars to this rating! He has been Sean's number one fan for 6 years, and we couldn't imagine trusting our best friend to anyone else. Sean is so conscientious and caring, not to mention available morning, noon or night any day of the year! If Lucky just sees a van that he thinks belongs to the Pack Life crew, he can't contain his excitement! Thank you, Sean, for being an extended member of our family, and taking such good care of a dog who loves you tons! read more

Pack Life has dog-sat my dog for the last 4 years when I am vacationing. Sean has done a good job taking care of my dog, who is typically hyperactive and alpha-male. Sean has been aware of his personality type and has handled him well. I trust that when I leave my dog with Pack Life, he is in good hands because Sean is qualified and professional at what he does. I would definitely recommend Sean and continue to use him as my preferred dog sitter. read more

I have known Sean for over a decade and, frankly, he loves my dog more than me. His passion for animals is unrivaled and he does such a great job working with multiple dogs. Nestle would always look forward to spending time with Sean and his "pack". His dogs are well socialized, well-behaved, and trust Sean implicitly. He is a great guy that clearly loves what he does and it shows. I would recommend Pack Life for any dog owner without question. read more

Our rescue saved a shepherd named Clark from a city shelter after being confiscated from a house after his owner died. The dog was semi-aggressive and unpredictable. After working with Sean, Clark has made considerable progress and is truly transforming into a loving companion animal. We are very happy with Sean and his methods and would recommend him to anyone who has a dog with behavioral issues. read more

Pack Life has amazing facilities and staff. I've dropped by in the middle of the day just to see what my dog was up too... always having a blast! She goes every single weekday, and comes home tired and happy. We board with Pack Life as well. I trust them completely, they will really go the extra mile to accommodate your schedule and needs. Best deal you can get for your best friend. read more

Dan always made our chow look like she was headed for the dog show. Fluffy, beautifully cut fur, well-trimmed nails. The staff always welcomed our dog as if she was part of the family. I will always be happy to take my dogs there for boarding, grooming, training, etc., and to recommend the shop to my friends. I wonder if the negative reviews are created by unprincipled competitors? read more
