I hired Zolar Moving to unload my rental truck in Ithaca on a Saturday at noon. By 1pm, I had left several unanswered phone calls at the only phone number I had for Zolar Moving (the one that is listed online) asking where their movers where. By 2pm, I had given up hope of them ever showing up and decided to go for a hike. They called me at 2:30pm saying they had just finished a job and were ready to head over to my apartment. No sign of apology for being 2.5 hours late and failing to return any of my calls. In fact, when I said I had just gone on a hike and might not be able to get back until 4pm, they told me they couldn't do that late and I'd have to wait until Monday. I decided it was better to unload the truck and abandoned my plans to hike. But they never apologized or remotely acted like they cared about me at all. I got back from the hike at the same time the movers showed up. A number of them were smoking cigarettes. The lead mover was particularly rude to me, my family, and the landlord (who happened to be there at the time). The movers punched a big hole in the wall of the entry hallway while trying to get the couch into the house. It was a tight fit, and there might be no way to get it in without damaging the wall somewhat. But the movers never showed any sign of remorse, only barely saying "our owner can fix this no problem". It sounded like this sort of thing happens a lot to Zolar Moving.

Due to a flat tire, the crew coming to pack my van were 2 hours late. A very unfortunate turn of events on the busiest moving day of the year. In response, he still offered complimentary support--personally came by and helped us carry the heaviest of the items for ~30 minutes. This was quite generous and made a huge difference! Anthony at Mansaz was responsive, helpful, and really friendly, taking time to answer all of our questions. We were able to pay online; the quote we were given in advance was 100% accurate, something I've heard some other waste removal companies struggle with. The truck was delivered on a Friday, and picked up again on the following Monday, which was very convenient for us. I had been nervous about lifting heavy material up into a dumpster but it was actually the back of a truck, with a ramp, which was a super user-friendly arrangement. Anthony recycled the metal we had put in one corner as he recommended, and sent us a bill for the disposal fee on the tires we had collected - smaller than we expected and very affordable. The whole process couldn't have been easier or more straightforward. Based on this experience I highly recommend these folks.

Communication was excellent, drop off was right on time. We quickly discovered we needed more space for all the trash. Mansaz were able to book us a second 15 yard dumpster. (They hauled the first load at short notice and returned with the empty dumpster for that second load.) We could not have done it without them. We were also down a pair of hands on the second day of the move and were able to hire them for one hour of assistance. Again, saved us! Highly recommended.

They have a tricky billing system - 3 months in advance. If you are late they put you on "…read moresuspension". What ever this means. If you make the payment late then you go on suspension, and they dont pick up . Even if you make the payment and they dont pickup they will not credit you for non pick up. There is zero notification of this policy. Even for the senior billing. We paid 77 for 3 months it was a few days late. They did not pick up. We have paid in July in full but they will not refund for week they did not pick up. because we were on " suspension". Pretty rude and unhelpful customer service folks. They would not get a manager on the line to discuss. Sure wish we had Fosters back
