I've been using this company for both my business and home for several years, and unfortunately this recent experience was really disappointing. The only reason I'm giving 4stars is because of Daniel's service (his service is 5!!!!) --he was professional, responsive, and truly did his best to help in a frustrating situation. If it were based on him alone, this review would be easy. That said, I had an urgent issue and was told they couldn't get anyone out for an entire week. For a company I've trusted and supported for years, that level of responsiveness is concerning--especially in situations that need immediate attention. Originally had Pacific Shore Pest Control come 14 months ago to do a service on our property to get rid of cockroaches and ants. Service went well, we didn't see any issues until about a month ago when weather started to get really hot and started seeing some cockroaches again. Because of our previous good experience with Pacific Shore, I reached out to schedule a service. Daniel C. was sent out to do our service, and it was great working with him. He is personable, extremely knowledgeable, and walked through and serviced our property thoroughly. He identified the main problem areas, has a strategic mindset and is strong problem solver. Top to bottom great experience. Scheduled a free estimate and assessment of the property. Got a quote on the spot, got a contract to sign shortly after, and scheduled the work for only a week later. The job turned out to be quite big and spread across two days but they were very communciative. I have to say that Juan was an outstanding contractor to work with. He showed up on time, worked two full days when one day turned out not to be enough, and went above and beyond. For instance, we had bushes we've been trying to get rid of but still needed a saw to do so. Since they were blocking his access to parts of the house he needed to work on, he asked if he could take them down. He took apart three huge bushes down to the stump and cleaned everything up putting the branches and everything into our yard debris bins for us. He was also a delight to talk to. Requested an estimate for rodent extermination services at apartments. Phone routes to an office of 2 receptionist (that are very knowledgeable, friendly and great at there job) but the only issue is getting through to someone! Hold times can be out of control over 20-30 minutes and there is no option to leave a voicemail or message of any kind. Finally getting through, booked an appointment for the tech to come investigate. Tech completely disregards appointment time and comes 4 hours earlier. Get an email with an invoice saying $0 due for estimate, and a beautiful detailed mapping of the property... but where's the quote??? After waiting a full week with no communication, I followed up with office. They promised an email with estimate that day from tech. Nope. Get an email randomly on Sunday after 10p with an overtly expensive estimate. No follow up, no call, serious lack of communication. I'm just trying to be a new customer, can't imagine what service would be like if I actually signed up with them. Unfortunately, complete disorganization. With this kind of experience, forced to look elsewhere for professional extermination services. UPDATE: Moments after my initial review, management reached out and gave me a call. Zack was very professional and kind to address my concerns and win back my business. It is 100% clear they take great pride in their business with great passion and want to make things right. I wish I didn't already book another vendor, or else I would have definitely offered Pacific Shores a second chance. read more

Updating my review - Since my last review, my scheduler has been switched to someone with much better communication skills and my unit was treated a month ago. I'm totally happy with the results of Pacific Shore treatments, particularly from Mario, who went above and beyond in handling a serious roach problem in my building and in my apartment. Both Inspector Dodjer and treatment tech Mario are top notch pros - very knowledgeable and friendly. I have used Pacific Shore before and will use again. Most recent was treatment for American (large winged) roaches that had invaded one unit. The main problem turned out to be a huge nest in the water meter box in the curbing strip. This was technically outside of the usual perimeter treatment area but Mario nailed it. He even got more product from his truck to make sure. I am very impressed and grateful.
