My favorite poke in Vancouver. The Cali is fantastic. So many great flavours and toppings. I upgrade to spicy sockeye for a nominal increase, and it makes for a delicious fresh sensation loaded with seafood. It seems like they've backed off on the amount of rice, but not the scoops of everything else... So it's not AS filling but still excellent and more than enough for a meal. read more

Tasty poke place on Broadway, just W of Cambie. This is a local chain. Parking sucks here. What can I say. The place is pretty modern. Like the other stores in the area, the front is all glass, which makes it great for people watching. Staff were helpful. No complaints. The poke bowl I had was decently fresh. This was an average Vancouver Poke experience from a plethora of options available in Vancouver. Went on Thursday night to grab some Poke. Was in the West Broadway area and thought to give it a try. Got one of their signature bowls called "The Main". The serving portions of the salmon were a bit limited and the salmon as fresh. Not sure if this was because of coming in close to their closing time. Huge portions here. I got the regular bowl that has two proteins and couldn't finish everything. Salmon and negitoro was delicious. Ingredients are fresh and the brown rice was a healthy alternative. I wasn't a fan of a beets, it was really dry. The corn was average. read more

Update: Still a solid poke place, decent portions, good quality, albeit a little pricey at $19 for a regular bowl. The chicken was tender and the salmon was good quality (I added $1 for spicy sockeye but unfortunately I got regular sockeye). However, the portion of salmon was a little small, as you can see in the photo. The rice was sushi rice (bonus points!) and the sauces (spicy mayo and sesame miso) were flavourful. I appreciate it so much when owners take customer feedback seriously. Pacific Poke did, eventually, replace our bowls and I'm impressed to see they've massively improved the pickled onion. Today's bowls (The Main and The Veggie) were fresh, complex and flavourful, with lots of fun sauces and crunchy toppings. I've also just discovered their cauliflower rice - how have I never eaten that before? It's fabulous! Although I probably still wouldn't order the Maui again because of the ingredient combo, we'll definitely put this place back onto our roster of regular haunts. This was my was my first time ever trying Poke and I was not disappointed! Realizing that it is basically deconstructed sushi, I was more willing to try it. The place is so cute! Nice, neat and clean. I decided to try "The Main", which came with salmon, ahi tuna, shrimp&crab mix, over sushi rice. Topped with seaweed salad, ginger, and avocado nori. I substituted the ahi tuna for another serving of salmon and the citrus myo for the spicy mayo and it was great!! I've been twice within one week and it even heats up well the next day. DISCLAIMER: Do not Microwave the bowls, they will start to melt! Lastly you have to try their mango mint lemonade. It is delicious! it's also made fresh everyday. read more

My favorite toppings include the quinoa, ahi tuna, wild sockeye salmon, crab, and the noodle toppings. This poke place opened recently. I was greeted by the manager, Andrew. He was very personable and spent time giving me recommendations for the perfect bowl. Service with him was 5/5. I had the keto bowl which has tuna, negitoro, and a seasoned egg for protein. The fish was very fresh! There were many options for bases like white rice, brown rice, kale, quinoa, or cauliflower rice, which is more than any place I've seen elsewhere. Overall, I enjoyed this place. I would guve 0 stars if I could. Worst poke bowl I ever had in lower mainland and I've tried lots of different places. I asked for brown rice/salad, they were out of brown rice, then I asked for sushi rice instead, was told they were out as well. I was ready to walk out (I shoud have) a guy from the kitchen yelled, they have sushi rice. He had to repeat himself since girl behind counter could not hear him. I had a hard time understanding what she was saying as well, cause she was wearing mask, there was also thick plexiglass in between and behind me speaker on the wall blastuling loud music. I was told I only had to wait for a bit, so I thought I give it a try, since I was aleeady there and never tried one from that place before. Choices of proteins were ok, nothing spectacular, choices of toppings were meh. I asked for miso sauce and most popular non spicy sauce. They did not mix proteins with sauce like other places do, just spritzed everything in top. Whole bowl tested like fish with vinegar, nothing I am used to from other poke places where fish does not have only the fishy taste and flavours nicely blend together. I will never go back there, even if I am hungry and in the area. Do not recommend this place for any poke bowl lovers. read more

Nice, clean and bright place located downstairs at the Fairmont building. The fellow that served me was friendly and made some great recommendations with the sauces. He was definitely spot on cause my bowl was delicious! Ordered the regular size which comes with 2 proteins and 3 toppings. Good portion size. Best of all Pacific Poke I have tried in town! no matter where I am (even when I was in Burnaby), I drove all the way to West Broadway in Vancouver to get my daughter's beloved poke bowl. Due to COVID-19, there were days when I had to order through Skip the Dishes. One time the delivery came with the bowl half full. As soon as the owner was aware of the situation, he contacted me to apologize for my disappointment and would ensure that he would educate staff on this. He made up to me by offering me a free meal next time. Even though I declined his nice offer, he went ahead and mailed me a coupon for my next visit. His sincerity really touched me. Just tried this place for the first time and I'm really happy with the service and the food. I called shortly before their closing time and without knowing what I wanted. I asked if they could make a couple of vegan bowls and was told, yes! One was a chef's choice and the other something from the menu. Both were delicious and I was surprised and happy to see that the worker had written out the ingredients of the chef's choice right on the bowl :).
