They didn't arrive when they said they would and I had to make multiple calls to reschedule. It was very difficult to get them to call back. Even when they finally did they didn't arrive on the day they said they would and rescheduled but didn't show again. They finally did show and about an hour into the job I went outside to find one of their workers urinating on the side of our fence. They did not sand properly (we paid the total for the job) and we've tried to get them to come back out to complete the job. Frank came out and said he'd schedule the repair but he never did and now no one returns our calls. They also said they sealed it but we have moss growing in the surface of our pavers. Avoid this company. You will end up being disappointed.

Upfront: Coordinating with Rios was easy. Freddie was super responsive / really friendly and was able to come by the site with 2 days to assess the project. I was expecting a response / estimate back within 1-2 days but it took more like week. I was not in a hurry with the project so this delay didn't matter too much. Paver Patio: The crew worked very efficiently. They were able to remove grass / soil the first day and bring in new soil, sand, pavers the following day. In total - it took the team 3 days (not full days - they had to stop work on one of the days because it started to rain so hard) to complete the project. Other Notes: Once the paver patio was complete - the last piece of the project was to fill a certain area with river rocks. When I called to ask when the rocks will be put in I was told "this afternoon" and the next time "tomorrow". This was probably my only negative experience of working with Rios. I was not in a hurry so I didn't mind if the rocks were put in the same day, next day or a few days later. As a customer - I didn't appreciate not having the actions align with what I was told. Again - overall, i am happy with the project. The patio looks good.

Bob and his crew enlarged an existing patio and resurfaced it with stamped concrete, August or…read more2020. It has taken me a long time to submit this review. They were supposed to use templates for the pattern but did it freehand-very poorly. They were referred to me by a family friend whose patio looks really good. It's almost like a completely different company did my patio. The sealer they applied wasn't done properly and needed to be redone. It was necessary to contact them many times before they finally came back out to redo the sealer about 5-6 months later. When the crew came back out to redo the sealer they informed me that they had to use a different process and that I had 15 minutes to choose a new color. What they did was resurface the patio with something called Renu coat. The area where the patio was enlarged is cracked now all along the line of the addition. Between the two times they were at my home they got stain on my foundation and siding. I contacted them numerous times to please come back and clean up after themselves but they ignored me. As others have stated-DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They do not do quality work and their customer service is non-existent!

Worst mistake we've ever made with a contractor. Hired Bob to put a sealkoat over our old 1400…read moresquare foot aggregate patio. Completely ruined our patio. The joints have so much sealant that they are "gooped" up and the patio is several different colors. Too many defects to name. Upon further investigation he has several violations with Washington State DOL, his bond was revoked and his license suspended. Our fault for not checking prior to hiring him. When interviewing other concrete contractors in our area to come and fix the issue, we didn't mention his name, but two guys actually guessed it (one had worked on another of his clients patio). We were told he is well known to them in the industry. Ended up having to hire another company that's licensed, bonded and insured, to completely rip out the patio and redo. Called the parent company and was told that despite numerous complaints, franchise is individually owned and there is nothing they can do. Hire at your own risk! Decided not to pursue legal action so we can move on and let karma do its job.
