Perdue just finished a complete exterior makeover of our home in Bothell, and we are extremely pleased with the results. They replaced the original 50+ year old T1-11 siding and aging fascia boards, window trims, etc. with new Hardie board and batten style siding. In addition, they were able to cover our concrete porch with TimberTech boards and covered our porch posts with Hardie material. We got lucky as they were able to start quickly, 1 week out, and the entire process took about 5 weeks on our 1968 rambler. My siding has developed cracks around the window. Might just as well been using snail mail for correspondence as to getting anyone to respond is practically nil. A worker came out and looked and said I'll get together with Mike. Never heard back even after I asked about it sometime later. Service was much better when Richard was running the company. Perdue was one of 3 bids I received for a small replacement (300 sf+/-) of some existing fiber cement plank siding on our manufactured home. Mike's bid was about $300 more than the other bid I did receive, but once I talked to him about approximate start times, he said he just happened to have a "window" between a new job. They replaced the original 45 year old T1-11 siding and aging eaves, window trims, etc. with new Hardie board and batten style siding. In addition they were able to accommodate some nice custom touches like craftsman style window trims, cedar shake accents and tongue in groove cedar under the entryway, and the installation of a new solid wood door. The entire process took about 3 weeks. I was particularly happy with the professionalism of the crew and the fact that they cleaned up every day. We encountered some challenging areas during the project (working around an excessive amount of conduit, ductless heat pump covers, etc) and the guys, project manager and Rich the owner worked really hard to make sure we were 100% happy. We had emergency repairs a few months ago and the owner, Richard was able to work us in between other large jobs. Perdue completely resided the north wall of our 2-story house which had not only weather damage but lots of woodpecker damage, and in fact, this past spring, the woodpeckers had almost broken in with holes during the nesting season. A great professional job, they used Hardy board which is woodpecker-proof! We were so pleased with the work and the contractor, the prices fair - we rehired them recently and just had our whole house repainted, including deck railing and minor repairs as well. Richard was great to work with, professional, responsive, knowledgeable, fair. As were his crew - Estevan and the crew were at our house for about 2 weeks or less... very courteous, kept the area clean, were hard-working and very professional. Mr. Perdue seemed like a genuine guy, but was just another contractor who looks around, doesn't see a boatload of cash, and doesn't bother with sending the promised bid. This is probably happening to a lot of people because there are ultra wealthy people in this area that don't get multiple bids and pay way too much. There's enough work out there that contractors will come out quickly to look at the job, but they are also looking for are indications that you will accept a top dollar bid. If they don't see a high end home and cars, they won't bother with preparing a bid. These companies waste our time in order to select customers that will get them rich. read more

They could not have been more high quality and easy to work with - starting with talking the project through with Rich, the owner, through the actual work team led by Esteban. Perdue Builders just completed replacing 30 year old cedar siding with Color Plus Hardie Plank and Hardie Trim. In addition, they replaced one window and painted everything that wasn't replaced (i.e. soffits, decks, etc.). The price of the job was reasonable and the results were outstanding! It looks like a new house! All the people we worked with during our job were friendly, polite, and very hard workers. The work crew took care to have minimal impact on our home and yard. I can't believe these guys do not have any reviews on yelp because they are fantastic. We re-sided our house, because we had cedar that was not holding the paint. We had three bids done, but Perdue was slightly less, just slightly but because Tim, the person giving us the bid, was so personable and helped us with some siding questions on the house we were building, we went with Perdue builders.. Tim showed up on time and gave us a written estimate..(We did not go with the company which sided our new house, because they made so many mistakes.....it is a nightmare what we are going through) Since we are also building a house, I have delt with lots of crews over the past year and the entire crew and team at Perdue builders is very professional. We have a large house, and it took the crew about 2 weeks to finish the job. They showed up on time, worked until 5 and ALWAYS cleaned up their mess, daily. The owner stopped by once and asked how things were going and out estimator, also showed up several times, and also made sure things were going well. I am very picky and I know I have gotten on a lot of crews nerves because I am always checking on stuff, but with Perdue Builders, I felt like they were so professional that I did not have to "check up" on things all of the time.
