The original installation included the wrong door, and the installers also damaged the fixed panel. What made the experience even more frustrating was the repeated failure to honor scheduled appointments. Multiple times, the company scheduled and confirmed service visits, only to never show up or communicate that they weren't coming. Each time, I had to move furniture, remove window coverings, clear access to the door, and rearrange my schedule, only to do it all over again for the next appointment. This level of service is simply unacceptable. If you're looking for Milgard products, I would recommend Sound View Windows or Lundgren Enterprises instead. Based on my experience, they offer much better customer service, often at the same or even a lower price.

After texting to share some photos they said they'd need a window technician to check it out. They showed up exactly when scheduled and texted to let me know when they were nearly here. It turned out to be an easy fix so they took care of it on the spot, free of charge. They even insisted on cleaning up the little plastic bits that came off the window during the repair (even though I told them I could take care of it). Fingers crossed that I won't need to repair or replace any other windows soon, but if I do I'd definitely go back to Seattle Glass and Window.

I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. I am done repeating myself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had a foggy/failing window repaired that consisted of 3 separate sections. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. That was really frustrating because it made the overall cost much higher compared to other companies I had received quotes from. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.

They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. I thought the estimate was fair and appropriate for the cost of the materials, the demo, and the labor. A lot of the other contractors were giving me ridiculously low bids, which I knew were shady and they hadn't measured the area. They came within a few days in same day. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. I am so happy to have my dock back so that I can play on the lake.

We recently had them do, among other things, some drywall work, painting, security camera and Nest thermostat installation, mounting/hanging and wiring (behind walls) of a TV, adjustments to uneven and sticky doors throughout the home, repair of a non-functioning power washer, and work on a leaky toilet (again, among other things). Their range is impressive, and their craftsmanship is top notch. VERY high quality, high-grade professional work product. They even bring all of the necessary tools and materials to support whatever the need is, including materials for painting, etc. Very low lift for us as the consumer -- we really didn't have to lift a finger. The best part? All of them are incredible human beings, who are very easy to work with. Their customer service is great -- we provided our requests and instructions, and they ran with things from there and delivered exactly as we had asked. The work is clean and seamless and definitely worth the price. We couldn't ask for a better team, and we'll certainly be using Bill and his family in the future for all of our handyman needs.

"This design if you like it is cheaper than this other one and it's the same color! " etc. etc. The window film they contract with did a great job in our bathrooms also. I was impressed with his advise with what he thought would look better when we couldn't decide between two colors. He was very patient and made sure everything was right. Jordan was great at communicating the time frame, and letting use know when all the blinds were almost in to warn us so we could figure out when to schedule our installation Then the installation was super fast, took only an hour for 11 windows! His installer was nice, fast, and tidy! So is you want good blinds that will last a long long time this is the place to go. Here's why: - Vitaliy was exceptionally clear, punctual, and spoke in facts (he was not at all sales-y). - He did what he said he'd do (call me back, or prepare an estimate) when he said he'd do it. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. Their communication and the quality of their work is exceptional. Hire these folks!

Let us be honest, no one gets excited to have to buy a new roof. However, if you are in need of a roof, do yourself a favor and call Emerald State. Not only was their price the best out of several quotes I got, the level of expertise and professionalism I received was worth it's weight in gold. Everyone I worked with was absolutely amazing. Jim was incredible to work with. He made me feel like I was part of the Emerald State family and went above and beyond in every aspect of my roof being replaced. We were in constant contact and I felt incredible confident working with such an outstanding company. On top of that, the work on my roof was slick. Three days, and my new beautiful roof was up. These guys are fantastic. They did a fantastic job with my roofing project that included 2 separate buildings, my home and a large detached garage. The house is an open cathedral ceiling that had quite a bit of structural damage that had to be repaired. Fortunately, the crew lead was Hever, a very talented carpenter and framer who really knows his stuff. The job he and his crew did was nothing short of awesome. I was really impressed. The garage was more of a typical tear down and new roof replacement. It was done in the blink of an eye and the cleanup was nothing short of thorough. They did a great job all the way around. Todd, the owner, has built an outstanding local business and I couldn't be happier that Jim, Todd's amazing right hand man, sold me on their company for my roofing project. I met with Jim and had an excellent conversation with him about roofing and he provided me with a wealth of knowledge regarding the roofing process and what to look for in a contractor. I'm glad that Jim was the first person I met with to provide a quote because he help make me a more informed customer. The quote I received was very reasonable. Although I ultimately selected a different company to replace my roof, the decision had nothing to do with my experience or the cost of the project. I ended up selecting a company located in my city since I like to support local businesses when possible and other factors are equal. Jim is very responsive when I contact him and he works very hard for my business. The material supplier screwed up the delivery and brought the wrong material causing all sorts of delays and problems. Jim did his best to get the error corrected and did me right. I strongly suggest that you check the material before they unload it onto your roof. That could save you a lot of aggravation and stress. read more

We were able to schedule our roof replacement when we wanted to get it done and the job was completed in just two days. We were impressed that it was such a quick and smooth process. After our roof was done, our gutters just took one day to replace.. so in total, it only took 3 days to get a brand new roof and gutters! Also, throughout the entire process, Elijah (the project manager?) kept us updated on how things were going and was also easily reachable for any questions we had. We appreciated the good communication! My only minor "complaint" would be that the cleanup after the job being done wasn't 100%. There were a few scraps and caution tape leftover from the roof job, and then a large ladder was left from the gutter job. The owner of Seattle Roofing came out and confirmed that it had come from my roof. He flew a drone to inspect the roof but said he couldn't find where it came from. Then on June 18, 2026, I noticed something else that didn't look right on the roof. I contacted the company, and a technician came out and fixed one issue, but he left without any explanation or even letting me know he was finished. Using my phone's zoom feature, I could still see an area of the roof that didn't look right. I asked the company to have the technician come back. Unfortunately, I received rude responses from Steven. He always spoke as if the problem was somehow my fault. I had to follow up several times and remind him that the rainy season was approaching, but nothing happened. This was only the second time Seattle Roofing had to send someone out to my house since installing the roof. If the job had been done correctly the first time, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Eventually, I received a response saying that the technician had determined the area was fine. I sent Steven an updated photo and asked whether the exposed section of the roof looked acceptable to him. I never received a response. You can decide for yourself by looking at the photos and determining whether you would want to hire a company that treats customers this way after they've already been paid. I spent a lot of money on this roof for the peace of mind that it would protect my home. Instead, I'm left worrying about potential issues, trying to find someone else to correct what appears to be their mistake, and still have not received any explanation as to why the exposed section of the roof is considered acceptable. Customer service and communication after the sale have been extremely disappointing.

We LOVE the evening blue hardi plank siding and how it contrasts with the white trim. A neighbor around the corner liked it so much that they re-did their house in the same color. Our 3k sq ft quadrant home was about 15 years old when the siding started to rot around the windows. Landmark removed all of the old siding, replaced plywood that had rotted, applied new siding paper, then installed the pre-painted Hardi plank. The bid was prompt and fair. They completed the work in a timely manner and were super easy to work with. Really appreciated their attention to detail. We're doing an addition now and am planning on hiring Landmark to help with the siding. Also recommended Rener's team to neighbors who had their siding replaced and their homes look great too.
