I'm giving them a 5 star for today's visit. It was my husband and I first time however, this is my 88 year old mother's monthly Kaffe Klatch meeting place with her German friends. We took my parent's here today for their 64th Wedding Anniversary. Both my Dad and husband had the 3 different catch of Fish n Chips. My mother had a Crab Sandwich. I had the crab Louis. My mother and I picked a lot from our husband's plates. We both kinda wished we too had ordered that plate. My Crab Louis was very good but for the price it was more of an appetizer. My Mother's sando was very good. We ordered their coffee and it was perfect. We also ordered the Carmel French Vanilla Ice cream and it was divine. We also got the chocolate creme Brule, excellent but a little rich but well worth it. The nicest touch at the end, our waiter told us the desert was paid for by the Pacific Catch as an Anniversary gift. That was unexpected and was soooo soooo sweet. Thank you Pacific Catch'nnn read more

"Sorry Joe...couldn' t in good conscience tip you 20% when I asked you again and again for summore edamame... and you brought us a side of fries without offering any condiments for it? Lastly, you charged us $2 over for those taters...!" Unfortunately, it was the service that sank it to 3 star rating for me. Not the most conscientious or mindful of servers, sadly. Came for an early dinner last night. Never knew this place existed, or that it is part of a small chain of restaurants. Seated near the kitchen, the Hispanic cooks were banging out consistently appetizing plates and bowls. YUM! Appetite whetted. The thing we came for: PO KAY, aka Hawaiian poke. $19 trio did not disappoint... every element on there.... from wakame to the wonderful trio of original ahi, california with roe and black sesame, to lomi lomi with red chile....great. Wonton crisps were done up perfectly. Green julienned salad with jicama slaw and scallions, a yum complement!!! Shrimp ceviche had perfect balance of lime, ginger, avocado. We wanted more and more seafood. Fries were also crisp and golden, hot. We were charged $6 instead of $4 for them, though. I'll get over it in time. Kona lager was a great order to go with all of the fresh seafood. Gotta come back soon; an easy drive of 15 mins for us. read more

Prices aren't too bad at a place like this with a variety of Asian/Fusion foods. Teriyaki bowls are decent, and there are some sushi rolls to choose from, yummy tempura rolls. Fish tacos are good, and the Korean BBQ plates are just as good. We sat in the outdoor patio area, and enjoyed the warm sunny day in April. There was even a longer wait if customers wanted to sit outside. Great kids' menu to choose from. The kids like the chalk board to write on, instead of the same dull crayons with a piece of paper to draw on. Love the sweet potatoes which are a bit better carbs than regular greasy fries. Wish happy hour lasted longer than 6 p.m. for those who get off late. Have to try the mochi ice cream fondue to finish off your meal. If not, there's always Gelato next door at steep prices. P.S. I love the city locations (livelier vibes), but parking is horrendous in the Marina & Sunset districts. read more

My group had another fabulous experience at Pacific Catch yesterday: delicious food, refreshing drinks and outstanding service. Each time we've had different servers (Milton, David, etc.) but always consistently terrific service. On this visit, we were so fortunate to be waited on by the exemplary Mckenna P, who was so attentive, friendly, responsive, positive, and understanding. We were a challenging table with young pups and Mckenna treated us with such poise, professionalism, and bright energy. Pacific Catch has become my favorite Happy Hour spot as it's always so welcoming to all: two and four legged guests alike. I love the diverse, delicious menu with seasonal offerings complementing old favorites and manager Ida leads a fantastic team that makes all their guests feel welcome and special. Grateful Cheers to Pacific Catch Corte Madera and see you next time! read more

I love this location in Marin and we went there on a hot January night as the spot in San Francisco was booked. Unfortunately this was a night that probably was the worst in my history of coming to Pacific Catch. First of all, we had made a reservation and our table was not ready when we arrived. Second, once we were seated it took almost a half hour for us to get silverware, menus and place our order. Third, the portions seemed smaller than normal. It probably took another 20 minutes for our food, and the waiter was hard to flag down for refills on drinks. Even when we got someone's attention they told us they'd tell our waiter. Eventually our waiter got his act together as food came, drinks and refills arrived etc. My bowl arrived with brown rice which I did not order, but I was not going to complain as I was famished and I didn't want all those carbs anyway. Unfortunately my 7 year old nephew who's birthday we were celebrating, was now pooped, so no cake or dessert for everyone. Overall the slowest service and kitchen I've had experienced at any Pacific Catch including this one. Everyone has off days and maybe this was theirs. Still love the food and will be back. read more

Eh. Disappointed in the lobster roll. The stuffing didn't fit inside all the 3-individual Hawaiian rolls. You know you can just get the Hawaiian bread as a roll. I love Pacific Catch, and this location stands as a quality representation of this chain!! Some of my favorites here are the grilled fish tacos, sushi, and especially, their Korean BBQ bowl. That's not what you may expect from a restarting specializing in seafood, but the quality and the portion of it is amazing and well worth the price. I'll be coming back here time and time again!! read more

Nice little place at the corte madera town center. Service: EXTREMELY inattentive! They gave us water and starting tray of goldfishes and edamame beans pretty quickly. But after that it took FOREVER to get our order in and to catch anyone's attention! Food: Spicy fries - I loved them. Fish - It's ok. But I like their spicy tarter sauce. Fried oyster - ehhhhhhh Coconut shrimp - ehhhhh even more Maybe I was pissed off by the service that my food didn't taste all that great. But It was definitely not worth the price I paid. Overall: I would not recommend this place. read more

Pacific Catch makes a valiant success of keeping their seating area Covid-spaced, clean, and protocol compliant. The service was cheerful and prompt and the drinks were quickly ready (yow, I was craving a cold micro brew, more than I thought!) The fresh menu items were the stars of the show at Pacific Catch. The tacos, the Poke Bowl, and the fresh fish all hit their mark. The appetizers, however, were over cooked in the fryer and (TOA) tough-on-arrival. All the fried items, for that matter, had a flavor that I can only describe as "old". From now on, I'll stick to what they do best, Poke and Tacos. That's what gives Catch it's Pacific. read more

Seafood restaurant in a mall? Usually, no thanks but I was in the mood for fish tacos. My wife was flexible so we gave it a try. The restaurant was extremely well prepared for the limited service based upon Covid restrictions. Restaurant and dining areas were both very clean and there was a young man cleaning constantly while we were there. Much appreciated. I love fish tacos and can be pretty picky. These were excellent, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The jalapeno tartar sauce and veggies for the taco are well-prepared and presented. My wife had a seafood combo plate and she felt the same way. Fresh seafood, perfectly cooked. So I'm not typically a mall restaurant person but I may have to broaden my scope of what's on my radar based upon this experience. Very good service, place is spotless, food was on point. Well done! read more

We were greeted by the hostess who indicated it would be about 5 minute wait to seat us although we noticed there were at least 3 tables with utensils and napkins on them. It was strange that she has us wait 10 minutes before seating us in a non crowded restaurant. The waiter was very nice but seemed to struggle with understanding English. The fish was very greasy and one piece has a hard piece of grey meat (fish cartilage?). Hubby got the ahi ceviche and enjoyed it. I had the Mexican corn...yum! And a dude salad with miso dressing, also yum. Son got the shrimp skewers on sushi rice. He seemed pretty happy about it. I asked for coke with lime and got s lemon but no biggie. The hostess dropped a glass in the dining room which startled everyone. She didn't seem to enjoy her job much. read more

Did the bar service with the plus one. Great selection. Lots of tequila just the way I like it! Didn't have 1800 but definitely had Patron so I'm happy. Jaxton the bartender definitely went above and beyond on the service. He helped navigate the menu by my taste and liking and we landed on the Korean BBQ bowl & my goodness it had perfectly done steak, amazing ribs an egg and wow the THAI BRUSSELS . Highly recommend. I had an Island mule drink but substituted vodka for tequila and the passion fruit, lime juice, ginger beer, bitters and mint hit totally different. The meal was enough to fill me up and take home. A hidden gem. P's they have amazing fresh catches daily so check them out. Oh and man their playlist is actually pretty amazing. read more

This restaurant has many locations. I am really not sure how big the chain is and I have never gone inside because I generally don't like eating in chain style restaurants, but I went in for lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was fairly large with Asian and Latin fish specials, such as types of sushi and tacos, etc. they also had regular fish entrées. I got two tacos, one shrimp one cod, which came with black beans, spiced french fries, and it was pretty good. Everything looked very freshly made not like it was in the freezer $18 for the platter was a pretty good deal for lunch because that is what a normal burrito somewhere cost now I have heard that they have a good happy hour specials and I think I'll go back and try that as well. I recommend it before and the other restaurants in that category. read more

Not only do they serve amazing fresh seafood (their guaca-poke is to die for and their thai Brussel sprouts) but the service from the management is superb!!! There was a mix up of my to go order a few weeks ago, and the management took care of it and even gave me a free side on the house when I came back!! I'm honestly so touched. Trifecta. Fathers Day and celebrating my girlfriend and her daughters birthdays. My treat. If you haven't read my previous review I recommend you look at it Meanwhile, what I will add to this a more current early dinner, and the wonderful customer service. https://www.yelp.com/biz/yelps-off-the-hook-happy-hour-at-pacific-catch-corte-madera From the ever happy Emma and Joe in front of house, to our smiling server Nary it was a pleasure to come here. Sorry I missed Olivia. She just left. I had prearranged a table with Jack on the enclosed patio with the Mt Tam View. A beautiful day indeed. And it was a special day for all 3 of us. We ordered tons of food and Nary was so patient and helpful. The appetizers had smiling faces at the table. I loved the Coconut shrimp. Sashimi with watermelon radish shining was delightful. Presentation was superb. Snap ! We snarfed it up. When the entrées came out they went silent. So much beautiful food. I had the enormous Rising Son sushi. They had the Hawaiian Opah fish, and Salmon plates. We ate until we had no more room. BAMMM ! ! ! Then desert arrived. OMG. Crème Brule, a mango and black rice in coconut sauce, and a caramel cheesecake deep fry tower thingy with incredible Vanilla ice cream. We did it. We actually ate them. Joe almost caught me liking the plate. Interestingly each item landed in front of the fav of each person at the table. The server didn't know who would like what. Sorcery me thinks. Oh yes. Another reason to come is the desert is free for birthday people with a candle, and the best part is company policy - no birthday singing employees. It was very private and special that way. Whether you are inside or the quality is always there, and the service is top notch. But the surprise is to look at the lovely foods that leave the kitchen before you order, and how they are presented. Happy Happy Happy. read more

Having moved from Hawaii a few years ago it's not often I can sit in a restaurant and feel that same energy (and taste the food) of a place I so so miss. Poke, mai tais, and Hawaiian attire??!! Yummy!!! Servers were right on with friendliness and promptness, and the poke was perfect! They apparently have $5 off mai tais happy hours when you show up in hawaiian attire (gonna assume a hawaiian print shirt, not my hula outfit). Their mochi dessert was awesome too! All I can say is Wow! This place is a great spot to have dinner. My girlfriend and I went here for dinner yesterday. Side note: I don't eat meat on Fridays so I was trying to find a good spot for seafood. Now that I have eaten from here, they may make me give up meat altogether. The place was pretty packed on a Friday so I would recommend making a reservation if possible. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space is mostly covered but has a small opening with a fire pit to keep it nice and cozy. To start they bring you goldfish pretzels and edamame. (Who doesn't LOVE goldfish pretzels!!) we ordered the rockfish ceviche with tortilla chips and lettuce. The chunks of fish were large and was some of the best ceviche I've ever had. For our meals I got the three mix and match tacos, the seafood selections with shrimp and two types of fish. By far one of the best seafood tacos I've ever eaten. My girlfriend got two types of sushi. The rolls are gigantic so you have been warned if you get two rolls. Overall I would go here once a week if ate out often. Wow...an extremely small bar, but bar service is the worst I've experienced in Marin County. I'm ok with tipping even with poor service, as most servers are trying to earn a wage in Marin County. But the expectation of you MUST give a tip for poor service is appalling here. The bartender egotistically confronted the customer, raised her voice, and did not learn or listen to the customer. Then the manager accused the customer of bad behavior just because the customer sat at the bar with a drink, and she just stated "I have to look out for my employee (not the customer)". Well, the business is about employees and CUSTOMERS. Do not go to the bar on a Tuesday night or before 6 o'clock. Poor service repetitively as this was not the first poor experience. I give it two stars, not one, because the coconut shrimp is very good. read more

Love this location, especially their covered and heated outdoor patio. Our server was amazing, despite not having any bussing help or getting much assistance from the host (eg. He forgot our menus). The Guaca-Poke was amazing as were the Spicy Greenbeans. Our poke bowls were very good too, though the Spicy Salmon Bowl was way overpriced for what was perhaps 1/4 cup of chopped salmon trimmings in spicy sauce on top of lettuce and rice ($25). Cleaning is an issue here: 1. Tables needed to be bussed quicker (we saw multiple tables sitting unbussed for 10-15 min). 2. Tables were wiped down with dirty, over-used rags that left food streaks. 3. Bathrooms needed lots of deep and basic daily cleaning. Again, the food and the server were top notch. read more

I joined Pacific Catch's Rewards program before dining there for the first time on 4/23 as my friends have been raving about the superb Happy Hour and overall quality food/service. All my high expectations were met and exceeded from my very first interaction with the host as he was so accommodating and friendly with regard to my small service dog. As soon as we were seated, we had the pleasure of meeting our server Milton who was just as professional, responsive, positive, dedicated, and attentive. Despite a very busy patio business, Milton constantly checked on our table and responded immediately to each and every request. Even the water was refilled as soon as we needed. As a lifelong Marin resident, I've been so resigned to traveling outside the county for fresh, delicious seafood but now that I've discovered Pacific Catch, I'm so thrilled to support them. I sincerely hope to have the pleasure and privilege of having Milton's superior service when I return as he was a stellar ambassador for Pacific Catch: during our dine-in service and when we needed to order takeout after our meal. I highly recommend the cerviche trio and ribs as they were both so delectable and I can't wait to try other dishes in future visits. Thank you so very much Milton and Pacific Catch! read more

This is probably the best happy hour that you don't know about! For years, Pacific Catch's happy hour has been one of Marin's best kept secrets. Come in Monday - Friday (4pm - 6pm) and you can nibble on half-priced bites with your choice of adult beverage. Bites include: Korean Sticky Ribs; multiple Poke dishes; Baja Shrimp Ceviche; Chicken Yakitori; and a variety of Sushi Rolls (California, Spicy Tuna, Firecracker Salmon, etc.). Since these bites are 1/2 price, you won't be paying more than $4 - $5 for each dish. Wash it all down with a nice selection of beers on tap or one of their refreshing cocktails. Personally, I'm partial to their margarita. Though they usually have some nice drink specials (so be sure to ask your server about them). And for you wine-lovers out there, they do 1/2 price bottles of wine every Tuesday. So I guess the question is... what are you doing between 4-6pm today? I know where I'll be. : ) Hook, line, and sinker...Pacific Catch is still a winner! read more

Great happy hour, comfy indoor and outdoor spaces, friendly staff, medium wait times, loud patrons, great cocktails, very tasty food, easy parking.. I always enjoy my food and drinks at Pacific Catch. Fresh seafood of all kinds. I have had all 4 of their poke and they are all delicious with the original being my most unadulterated favorite. The coconut shimp are lighlty coated with batter and coconut and are delicious. The ribs are covered in a sweet soy glaze that is amazing. The salmon and the opah are cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes with a hint of crab are both nuanced and rich. The service could be more attentive but they have always been very good juglers with great memory. Eventually I will try the entire menu. read more

After a long day of furniture shopping I was exhausted and a little bit cranky. I checked Yelp to see what looks good in the area since I'm not that familiar.
