I gave this place a second chance. It now has a new owner. If feels like eating at home. They accommodate you as much as needed. Their food is delicious and comes out pretty fast. But you can tell it is so fresh. Prices are very very affordable and Bair. read more

Just went over yesterday with my girlfriend. Entrance was weird getting in. It's in a little place you would think would be a business. The food was good. I only put four stars because our server got our order wrong and was great at ignoring us. read more

We've been driving the PCH from San Diego and this was the best service and breakfast we've had the entire trip. Our coffee cup was never empty and the waiter was beyond friendly. We got the Chilicales with green salsa... ORDER THIS! So good and so much food! The only complaint we have is that it isn't close to our home in Idaho! read more

Stopped here on our way up the CA coast. Located in a industrial area outside very plain. Inside, looks like a workman's lunch place so not fancy, but just fine for lunch. Good selection of items on the menu plus 6 or so specials. I opted for the cheeseburger and salad. Others the shrimp and fish tacos. Cheeseburger was a little overcooked for me and therefore dry. Some extra 1000 island dressing from the salad helped. The salad was good and fresh. The tacos were served 2 to a plate and they were huge. Good service, reasonable prices. read more

Besides the fact that they are located like 20 seconds away from me, this place is a gem! Their customer service is good but their food is even better. My favorite thing on their menu has got to be their BACON BREAKFAST BURRITO. It's packed with flavor and when paired with their red salsa, BOOM! It's a party in your mouth. Pacific Cafe in Oxnard used to have great food and nicer service when the owner Carmen took a bit more pride... however, the new owners are not as attentive to the quality of the food or the quality of the customer service. I think they lost some customers. read more

This cafe is close to where I work, so that's a huge plus personally. A mix of the usual diner fare and some tasty Mexican dishes are served. I had a delicious chicken caesar salad this afternoon, with fresh lettuce and tender chicken on top. Their regular staff is very friendly and chatty, speaking English or Spanish. Definitely a great lunch spot, but they also serve breakfast (including a killer bagel sandwich with ham/egg/cheese/onions/etc). read more

I hadn't planned on writing any more reviews - figure my opinion is only worth so much - but I had to comment on the steak and eggs here, which were among the best I've ever had. Interestingly, the rye toast came before the steak and eggs (typically they're served together) and they had big-screen tvs on, showing the depressing news (if I want to watch tv I'll stay home). However, they did have an outer area without a tv. Back to the steak: it was absolutely delicious, tender with just the right seasoning. Located in an industrial center, don't let the outside looks fool you; the food (my wife had her usual breakfast burrito) is terrific, the staff great, the prices can't be beat. All in all, a great experience, despite the fact we were nowhere near the Pacific Ocean. read more

I have the Axxess App and like to try new places. The reviews seemed pretty good. I got the Chile Verde omelette with house potatoes.... BOMB!!! The Chile verde was delicious and they did not skimp on the meat. My friend had the Biscuits and Gravy- SO FRIGGIN BOMB. Im def going back and telling everyone about it. The waitresses were super nice and were not like bland staff at restaurants that never have any suggestions, much appreciated. Kudos to the owner and workers. Love going there with a group of friends to chill and enjoy the food! Especially today, the Owner really cares about his customers; thanks for being helpful! Customer Service is always a plus for me and I am glad they are living up to that. Also the food you receive is a large portion (that is an added bonus) you get what you pay for and "some" not to mention the salsa and chips. Definitely recommend people to go here! read more

Great food, good atmosphere. Friendly employees and all that. Only issue I've had is with consistency--sometimes my sandwich is fantastic, while other times it's missing ingredients or is put together sloppily. Wait times are usually pretty long, so take-out orders from the phone or internet are a good idea. For a cheapish lunch, there's nothing in the immediate area that can keep up. Edit: It seems as though some of the kitchen folks make certain dishes their own way. Asking for "extra" of whatever you care about is the way to go. For example, with the Chicken Ranch sandwich sometimes there is little to no buffalo sauce. Asking for extra buffalo sauce while ordering solves my problem. 5 stars; consistency is only a minor issue. read more

Update: Tried again against my better judgement. I got the chilaquiles, by far the worst I've ever had. They were extremely bland and tasted like they used tomato sauce instead of the chili or enchilada sauce. Never again will be spreading the word to my family and friends. read more

A hidden gem. I had the chorizo hash and eggs, and it was superb! What this country needs is a better breakfast! Don't be afraid to ask for something not on the menu or to add or prepare something a little differently, they're friendly and accommodating. I tried to convince them to move to East Coast, but no luck! read more

I saw the pictures and read the reviews. Had the Chicken Pesto sandwich and I was so, so unbelievably disappointed... Maybe the chef was having an "off" day? My sandwich was laden with grease/butter. I enjoy food, but I guess I may need to try something else next time. I did try their home made salsa which was very, very good! So, again, maybe the chef had an "off" day. I know of a lot of folks that eat at Pacific Cafe, and their reviews can't all be wrong... I'll give this place another chance. Call in your order if your in a hurry. Cozy, casual place. read more

Solid spot. Small and unassuming, hidden away in the industrial park. Came in right before they closed and got food to go. Had the salmon cesar salad. A lil heavy on the dressing but the fish was cooked perfectly. Chatted with one of the owners. Really nice guy. I look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu. read more

I used to love coming here and eating great food but after the previous owner sold the business everything is different. They close at 2:30 what it usually means that if you are inside of the business before that time you'll eat right? WRONG! It means that at 2:30 they are going home. I came today at 2:20 but I was told that the grill was already clean so no more hot food. Just cold sandwiches. Great business model. Keep it up and sooner rather than later you'll see less and less familiar faces. read more

Been here about 4 to 6 times now in last 3 months and out of all those times my first time was my only good expirence . Every time I had came to this restaurant I always have to wait a while . Once my pancakes where not even cook all the way .and I just left right now very upset I wasted 25 min for a damn burrito . Gonna stop coming here for a while . Good food tho . Started coming again and bumped my rating 2 stars . Great service and good food read more

Great find on Saturday for lunch! The chicken portobello sandwich was delicious. My mom said her BBQ chicken sandwich was the best she's ever had - that's saying a lot since she's 80 years old! It' was our first time ordering from this cafe. The food was ready on time. We ordered two sandwiches - grilled chicken with mushrooms and tuna. I had a side salad and my husband ordered the steak fries. Both sandwiches and fries tasted great and were good-sized portions. The side salad was simply field greens and some ranch. Amazing customer service. I started my day out on a not so good note with issues at the airport. I get into town to visit family and asked where is a good place to eat and was suggested to try pacific cafe.I made an order to go because I had been traveling all morning and had full intentions to pay for my meal, however Lone and behold I get to the restaurant and forgot my wallet in my luggage back at my sisters house. I apologized and asked if they took Apple Pay and the very nice gentleman informed me "no I'm sorry but we don't,but you know what don't worry about it, I got you this time." I was astonished that he was even willing to do that not to many people now a days would even think about doing so.... so if I could give them 10 stars I would have. Lots of space, although maybe it was because we came in a weekday early at 8:45. Anyway, skip it, not worth it. I prefer the local IHOP.

The woman serving us was kind, informative, and attentive as well. I love the old school diner vibe as well. The place is very spacious. They also have a full bar which we did not utilize at 8 am this time around. Overall it was really great and we will definitely be back! My new favorite breakfast spot in Oxnard!

Pacific Cafe is a small, welcoming spot with friendly staff and consistently great food. It's become a regular lunch stop for us since it's close to the office, and everything we've tried has been fresh and tasty. I consider myself a burger connoisseur at least in Ventura,Ca. They make an incredible burger called The Works. Made absolutely fresh to order down to the freshly ground beef. You can also request items if available. Today a friend added a fried egg and I asked for deep fried jalapeno slices which she happily accomodate!
