I had a worn out clutch and flywheel, I bring my car here for a diagnostic. You would think they pull the transmission and check the clutch and flywheel, but no they did a test where they drove my car 20 miles, why do you need to drive my car 20 miles to see if the clutch is burned or worn? So they call me back tell me it will cost $5k to replace, I decline so they basically charged me $200.00 to tell me my clutch and flywheel were worn out. Their diagnostic report said they could smell the clutch. Ok look if you could smell it and the clutch is slipping then why drive 20 miles and charge $200.00 to tell me what I already knew. Regardless make sure to record your miles when you drop off your car! read more

I had to chase him down and then he passed me off to someone else who I had to re-explain my whole deal too. This process was extremely annoying and now I'm thinking of going somewhere else. Purchased a 2020 X3 here and after less than 6000 miles/7 months the vehicle needed: 1 tire change, alignment, serpentine/drive belt, spark plugs, vehicle check, cabin filters, and an oil change. All together $3000+ in costs. When asked to speak to their sales manager about all these premature repairs and preventative maintenance, I was told i'd get a call back THREE times. Once I had the vehicle brought in by my sister to get at least a few things done, I had made an appointment for a day that they would have a loaner available. After all this effort to get the vehicle there for the critical maintenance, they refused to give her a loaner vehicle: because she's not on the insurance of MY vehicle. I don't understand what that has to do with the loaner vehicle, especially since she has her own insurance that they didn't even look at because of that. Never. Ever. Again. Go somewhere else because once you sign the dots they give you answers such as "sorry that's above me" and you'll never get any support. Worst BMW dealer Ive ever dealt with having 3 BMW vehicles purchased from dealers, in the last 10 years. No customer service. No reliability. My 2022 430i coupe had a check engine light which was causing my car to misfire and shake. I brought my car to Pacific BMW of Glendale because they had the earliest appointment available that included a loaner vehicle. So on Wednesday morning Sep 6th I leave my vehicle with Benjamin Aguirre the service advisor and took a screen shot of my mileage which was reading 40,245 and was the same on my odometer. Fast forward two days later Sep 8th I arrive to pick up my car and when I turn my car on I noticed my odometer reading 40,376. I checked my bmw app to double check and it was saying the same thing. I bring this to one of the advisors attention who then escalates it to his service manager Edgar Oganesyan. I explained all this to him and showed him my proof and his response was I don't go based off those numbers. Both service manager and director of after sales Salvatore Rubino kept referring to data they printed out stating it was data they pulled from my cars computer and that my bmw app was wrong. The BMW app also pulls data from the car and it updates every time I turn the car off but they didn't want to hear my reasoning and cared less about my evidence. Talk about not taking accountability and only trying to cover their own self. No care for the customer(myself) and not willing to come up with any solution. This BMW has terrible business practices, horrific customer service especially at the managerial level and definitely Unethical acts taking place. DONT EVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. read more

I brought it in for them to fix it and BENJAMIN explained to me that the lights were supposed to be uneven. I showed him a picture of the same car as mine with the lights correctly working and he still refused to fix it. He kept my car for 4 days and they didn't fix anything. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Stay away. Don't waste your time. This is the worst brand affiliated dealership I have interacted with and actions are beyond unethical with complete lack of accountability. Reading other reviews it appears that others have had similar experiences to mine. Pacific BMW gladly wasted 8 hours of our time (and 250 miles of driving) by having a "change of heart" last minute after an agreement was already reached days ahead and reiterated the day of. Here is a summary of my experience: I inquired about a preowned X5 that matched the specs we had been searching for. This dealership is located +3 hours away from where I live and was slightly more expensive than a local option that I also considered. To avoid wasting time I asked to negotiate the deal ahead of time and made an offer that was a few percent below asking. Mr. Kim said he would confirm if it was acceptable with his manager. The following day Mr. Kim returned the call and said that the offer was acceptable and we arranged to meet at the dealership the following day to complete the purchase. In conjunction with this, and per Pacific BMW's instructions, I submitted a credit application, to put the car on hold. The day we went to the dealership, went for a quick test drive, indicated that we wanted to proceed with the purchase. Mr. Kim presented the purchase agreement that reflected to original asking price but crossed this out and reassured that the negotiated price was valid, and he was waiting for the acting sales manager (Thomas Kamenos) to authorize the price since it was co-signed by another sales manager the previous day. We waited for approximately 15 min and Mr Kim returned saying that they were unable to get a hold of the other sales manager, who was off, but again reassured that there would not be any issues. There were some repairs that needed to be completed so we already established that we were not leaving with the car that day, Mr Kim said we could leave and the paperwork/payment could be completed later in the day remotely. We made a handshake agreement and left. While halfway through the 3 hour drive home, Mr Kim called and said that Pacific BMW could no longer honor the deal but that it was still available at the full asking price. Naturally, I was in shock and explained all the reasons this was not okay and we already agreed on the terms. Mr Kim agreed but apologized, both on the phone and in text messages, citing that there was "miscommunication" between Mr Kamenos and the other sales manager. A few minutes later Mr Kamenos called as well. He was extremely dismissive indicating that despite what Mr Kim verbally agreed to, without a written contract such offer is not binding. I used a loaner car and upon return, the associate took a close up photo of the rim and zoomed all the way in until they could see a tiny scratch and proceeded to finesse me to pay for a complete rim repair. The Pacific BMW offerings were the best, the smaller sedan standing out from the crowd in terms of performance, sporty feel, and the car being fun-to-drive. I ended up selecting the performance trim and worked with Bob & Frank throughout the process. They were very knowledgeable and supportive with getting all of my questions answered. Having worked with around 8 makes during this search, I found that some competitors were having to use tactics to attempt to entice customers, while BMW is a known and trusted respected brand. I bring all my cars in here. I have 3 740s and an I8. When they attempt to fix the cars, allthey fix it yet the same problem keeps happening. Henry seems like a good guy but never seems to get the job done correctly. Brought the car in for the 3rd time different bmw same problem what's up with always the same problem lol. Took my other bmw to Beverly Hills and I don't have the problem anymore. Worst dealership in the area. Go to Beverly Hills BMW they do a honest job and you actually never have to come back. Also note that technicians make money on the jobs they do. Wouldn't be surprised if they are milking the warranty. I'm being very generous with these two stars as I'm grateful they changed my tire twice now. What I'm not grateful for is how scamy these guys are. Im not even referring to how expensive their tires were, but how they scam you when you return the car (lease end). I came here for my lease end and I'm livid at how these guys tried to up charge me for every little thing. They're pretty shameless actually and I'm so disappointed with the experience. When they were checking the tire treads they go by the thinnest points on the tire. So not in the middle of the tire, but towards the thinnest point they can find. The guy (god I wish I had gotten his name) who checked the car for scratches got down on his hands and knees like a bit€t and felt up the bottom of my car. I was told every single BMW driver with a sedan gets this charge as the bottom of the car is so low that it scrapes against side walks when you park. Sounds like a design flaw to me. Anyway between two tires at $300 each (mind you I payed almost $600 to replace each one when they popped after hitting a pothole) and $200 for the scratches, my total with the $350 disposition fee was $1150. You know what I did? I returned it to a different BMW and that fee was just $350 for disposition. Don't go to glendale BMW unless you have extra cash you want to give to the bros who are lounging around like wolves waiting for anyone who will submit to their shady practices. I left BMW altogether after 9 years of leasing (3 x 3 year leases) and don't think I'll ever look back because of the shady practices. Man, I was told Santa Monica BMW was bad (read their yelp reviews they're known to mess with tires), but these guys are on a different level entirely. read more

This is to commend the excellent service and fair nature of Rene Karimyance as a salesperson, but also in his ability to market BMWs in the most respectable manner - no matter the shortage or egregious customer demands. He is a busy guy, but sits down with every customer to give them time that they deserve from start to finish, and doesn't upsell with any bit of disgust like that of a stale stereotype. He really did take his time, and was nice to my dad, which meant a great deal to me. I researched several BMW dealers - Santa Monica, Irvine, Beverly Hills, Valencia, Buena Park, Alexander Imports, South Bay, Monrovia and Escondido. All of them didn't match the volume Pacific BMW was able to provide in this market. Nor could any dealer provide options that were truly trendy when pre-ordering cars that were not just in demand, but the ones that would elevate the status of the customer. Rene was able to customize a car that was limited in number, and truly one of a kind with his knowledge of what sets BMW apart from BMWs and other car-markers. It does take 3-6 months to get cars at this point, so don't expect to find these cars on the lot unless its a truly mass produced car like a 2 series, maybe a 3 series, or a X model assembled in the US. Transparency - When it comes to negotiation in this market, Rene provided the full information on the landscape. In addition, he was also fair about financing options, noting when he could and couldn't provide info, and that the customer was ultimately not on the hook until they were truly ready. Isn't that something? That is the best way to do business, and that was only one step. I would, without a doubt, recommend you seek out Rene here whether through phone or in person, and do your research as well. You'll see that not only are his recommendations flying off the shelves, but they are the finest versions of the model you are seeking. Nice job Rene and Pacific BMW! THEY GIVE CPO BMW A BAD NAME. This dealership does NOT care about their customers or their cars! Monday I went to buy a car, after agreeing on a price and details I went to look at the vehicle one more time outside when I realized the entire back of the seat was ripped side to side across the car probably a 4 foot rip at the base. There is no way when cleaning up this "Certified" pre owned vehicle that this was not noticed. As soon as you put the back row down it's right in your face. So this dealer wanted to sell a sub par car for market price. We agreed to get it fixed for me to purchase the car and we were going to move forward with paperwork but the curfew hit and moved up an hour and I had to go home. They said they contact me the next day about getting the seat repaired and we could do purchase paperwork. The next day they texted they were handling getting a quote to fix the seats and I said I was fine with that and I would come over to purchase the vehicle when they were ready. Another curfew day so they didn't get around to telling me to come buy the car until the next day Wednesday. They texted me at 1pm saying they were ready to do the deal, I confirmed the price and our agreement to fix. I then got in my car and drove the hour to dealership. I got there at 2:26. LITERALLY the second I shut my door to walk in the dealer they texted they sold my car I spent 3 days dealing with. These people wasted my time, during a pandemic and riots, they had me drive out an hour. They could have texted that someone was negotiating on that vehicle but they waited until they sold it. Money grubbing, swindling, bad dealership. No respect for customers time, I didn't leave that first day bec I wasn't sure I wanted the car I left bec of a city curfew that moved up hours in a matter of a single text. And I would bet ANYTHING that the person who bought that car was not alerted the seats were ripped at the base. I went and bought a CPO from a different bmw dealer the next day. I purchased an extended warranty and was told several times that it covers everything but tires and brakes. I even have en email with paperwork from their sales department that states this coverage. When one of the lock/unlock buttons on the interior fell inside the door I was told it would cost me $800 to repair. Uncovered, of course. This review comes after terrible experiences in the past with both the service department as well as the collision group across the street. Stay away. This review is from my experience from both sales and service as I bought my car from Pacific BMW and have taken it to them since new. The sales team was extremely patient with me as I am very picky with my cars. I have had 2 M3's in the past and I wasn't sure if I wanted an M4. But after a couple of hours of going back and forth I decided to pull the trigger on this beautiful Alpine White on Fiona Red M4 competition. I have loved every second with the car and the person that helped me was great (my apologies I forgot my sales reps name but he was a younger tall gentleman) fast forward a few months later and 10k of hard miles I got my rotors and brakes replaced. As always I was given a beautiful M440i Loaner car which was really fun. I picked up my car on a Thursday morning and went straight to work and back. But the very next morning I noticed some damage on my front bumper. I was really upset and went straight to my SA manny to complain. He did a really good job calming me down and investigating the incident. I did not inspect my car throughly when I picked up the car that morning which in hindsight I should have. We looked at the pictures of the walkaround when I dropped the car off and saw there was no damage but they had to review the surveillance cameras. Monday morning I had an appointment with the service manager Edgar where we looked at the surveillance footage together of when I left and it was very hard to tell from that if the damage was there or not. But I am very meticulous with my cars and it's very unlikely that my car was damaged while I was at work. Nonetheless, Edgar was quick to offer to repair my car which was all I wanted really. A week later my OEM carbon lip and bumper was repaired and looked amazing. Sam from the collision center did an amazing job on the color matching and Edgar overall made what could have been an unpleasant experience a great one. I will be a-little more cautious when picking up my car but my confidence in taking my car here has been restored. I WISH I could give this place negative stars. Instead of having a streamlined, straight-forward purchase experience with my fiancée, we were greeted with blank stares, snickers, and racism. BLATANT RACISM!! We were literally ready to spend money on our first car/first purchase together as a couple. We came with my mother, who was willing to help us as well. She and my father bought a 5 series back in 1982 when this dealership opened--she was actually excited for us to purchase a car there. We walk in- gave a salesperson information for the car we were interested in. We wait 10 mins. There's literally 20 people just gossiping and standing around at the front desk. We FINALLY get a salesperson. She was a Latina woman (as am I, and my mother is as well) about in her early 30's. She looked us both up and down, visibly judging us. We asked if we could see a specific car we were ready to purchase. She then asked my fiancé (who is Black) for his insurance policy card, and mine as well. We both laughed, as this has NEVER happened before nor have I heard of such a policy ever. She then proceeded to tell us "well then you can't test drive the car, I guess you can just walk over to that lot over there where it is." She completely blew us away with the lack of help. There are plenty of BMW dealerships. Avoid this one. They lied and cheated, then worked through the paperwork so fast that although it seemed they were efficient, it was clear that it was a well oiled machine to misdirect you. Yes, I'm to blame for not slowing the process down, but I didn't expect to be conned (beyond the usual expectation buying a used car). Said he was taking $1,000 off the sticker, he didn't. Said the car had undergone the Certified Pre Owned process but due to some slightly delayed scheduled maintenance they couldn't call it a pre-owned vehicle. Yet they didn't do the basic maintenance on the car. Two days after driving it off, the "change oil" light came on for something that should have been done. Took it into another dealer and found they hadn't done the recommended fuel injector cleaning or the recommended wheel alignment. Showed me a printout that tires were at 7 mm tread left (new is 9) yet another dealer measured them at 5mm (you need new tires at 3mm) Also, no follow up. I called to get info on the service, they said they'd look into it and call me back. I called about other issues, no reply. No hard sell, just pleasantly deceitful as they just screw you on the paperwork. Go elsewhere. They sell a lot of cars so BMW USA ignores complaints. read more

It was not a good experience for me. I came from far to look for couple used and pre-own models that I was interested in. Test drove one of the cars and asked a few questions about the service history, the condition and the source of the car. The customer advisor was trying dodge a lot of my questions and my concerns that I had (red flag!!!). I felt been pushed when he wanted to hurried me into sitting down and discuss the financial right after the test drive (red flag!!!). When I try to negotiate the price on the used car knowing that there are defects and repairs that weren't reported online, he turned me away and say there is no room for negotiation (red flag!!!). I advised people who came from far like I do to give them a phone call first. Or else they're probably not worth your time. read more

BEWARE OF THIS DEALER! I purchased a BMW Certified 2020 BMW i3 online from Pacific BMW and, at a cost of $1200, had it shipped up to my home near Seattle. I told the salesman, Raffi Ohnesian, that I was allergic to smoke, and would not purchase any car that smelled of smoke. He promised that it would not. When the car arrive it stunk of smoke. I immediately contacted the Raffi and told him about it. I told him we had put baking soda on the upholstery to absorb the smell, and then vacuumed it off. Then we placed 10 bags of activated charcoal in the car and left them to work. Very little change. I called an auto detailer and he said he would shampoo the upholstery and carpets and use an ozonator for 24 hours that would remove the smell. It is 99% effective. Fee is $300. I relayed this to Pacific BMW. They said they would not pay for the detailing, and that the car was mine. I filed a complaint with BMW USA, but they were of no help. This is the 6th BMW I have owned, and I have never had a bad experience with BMW dealers before. read more
