If you're planning to have tree work done in the…read moreSeattle area, look no further I called Tree133 about removing two small dead trees from in front of my house and trimming branches overhanging our roof. Treee133 thoroughly impressed me; I was extremely pleased with the every aspect of our interactions. Everyone involved was knowledgable, professional, and very friendly, from initial contact through the free assessment/estimate and finally to the work crew who came out to handle the job. They were prompt in all their responses, showed up when they said they would, and finished the work quickly and cleanly. I could not have been happier with the outcome. I will not hesitate to call them again If I find myself needing similar services.

They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive bid we got for the work; but they were the most professional, the most organized, and the most focused on both the aesthetic work of the trimming AND the health of the trees. They are a great company to work with if: you want the work done well, the first time. You want your trees and property to look better afterwards. You don't want to worry about a person accidentally catapulting off a hundred foot tall Douglas Fir on your property. You value arborists that show up on time and are a well organized, detail-oriented team. On my research: One company reached out to us for tree work when we first moved in - their quote was triple what Tree133 ended up charging, so I put the work off for a couple of years. When I decided to get quotes for the work: another company was nice, but did not show up when we asked them to for the quote because I wanted to walk through the work with them, took a week to deliver the quote, and was half of what Tree133 ended up charging. A third company didn't even call us back. A fourth company was so disorganized that we couldn't even set up a time for a quote.

We were in stop and go traffic on the Woodinville-Duvall road and he was behind me. I didn't go for 2 seconds so he honked. I waved to him. He then began yelling slurs and names out the window at me, flipping me off, and what was really scary was he was driving what looked like 3 inches my the back of my car. Every time we stopped he would scream that I was a "f---king b--ch". I am a teacher and was literally saying "I hope you have a good day!! We aren't going anywhere and you are being very aggressive! you need to stop!" What he didn't realize was that the name of the company "wizard" was in greenish blue letters on the side of the truck WITH a arborist trailer in the back. Anyway. If someone wants work done by someone with this character, then go for it. He is not a nice person and truly was acting irrational on the road. ***edited to add context: this was completely stopped. The car moved up about 5 feet ahead again within 2 seconds. This was not dangerous again because it was stand still traffic (see above that we were stopped long enough for me to hear you scream at me) regardless of me gesturing that the other car ahead of me ALREADY stopped by the time I moved up, you should never speak to the way you did especially with your business plastered across your truck.

If you have a stump that needs grinding, Jacob at Stump Grinding Northwest is your guy! I started a project on Yelp on 5/2/26 by requesting a quote from sno-king stump grinding (no response). Yelp offers a way to send the same project to multiple businesses, and I'm lucky it does! Jacob, at Stump Grinding Northwest, was quick to respond on Yelp (5/3/26) and by text after I sent him my information. He set expectations up clearly that he'd try to make room to stop by for a free estimate the same week and would let me know 1-3 days in advance. He also informed us that he typically gets the work done the same day if the quote is accepted - nice! I heard from Jacob on Wednesday, 5/6/26, that he had space for our estimate the following day. He confirmed he'd be there in the morning and sent us an eta of 8:30 around 8:00. The quote was fair and he explained the reasons for the range. A little after starting the grinding, Jacob had me come down to look at the progress. He showed me the depth he was going to (~8in) and the massive, melon-sized, carbide teeth-breaking rocks he was dealing with in the earth. He passed along some info about stump grinding blades and then continued his work. We checked out the final product together around 10am, and he said he'd come back if we found any remaining stump not to our liking. Jacob said he'd send an invoice later that day with the charges. We chatted for a bit about trees, insurance, and home ownership; then he was on his way. Now I continue building out my garden on level ground! We had a great experience with Stump Grinding Northwest, and I bet you will too.
