I have used the Haskins Tree Care three times. Each time they have built their already outstanding reputation with me. At the last project, I was concerned Brock would not accept the challenge as it involved a very close proximity to a six panels glass roof over which the pieces of a 60 year old Douglas Fir had to be manually transported. Not only was the project accomplished very successfully with the utmost care, safety, effectivity and special kindness shown to a nervous owner. They performed stacking of trunks and chipping of branches and admirable clean up of the surroundings. Their pricing has always been very reasonable and communication outstanding. We cannot speak highly enough of Brock Haskins and his crew: Chris, Martin, and Ty. They've been here for the last two days clearing a bunch of huge trees and limbing other ones for us. Needless to say, the sawdust and the branches coming down were quite messy. However, cleanup happened simultaneously alongside the tree trimming/cutting work, so they're leaving our yard in almost the same shape as when they found it. Except that it looks so much nicer now! Brock has a good work ethic, is a very personable and likable young man, and made this work as unobtrusive as possible. You can't go wrong with this kind of quality at reasonable rates. Four guys came and laid out plywood across the lawn, so that they wouldn't make a mess and dragged all the limbs out, chipped them, removed the tree logs in pieces, and then not only did they clean up after themselves, but they cleaned up parts of the yard that we're not their doing just as a courtesy. Brock Haskins and his entire crew were very professional and easy to work with. They removed a total of 9 trees on our property and thinned out the canopy of another very large Douglas fir. These guys were incredible. My neighbor and I had a giant decayed Maple between our backyards that the City (rightly) required us to remove for safety reasons. Brock and his guys did a great job trimming up several really tall cedars and firs, and even on a ridiculously steep hillside that was loaded with blackberry bushes - they're all pros and great at their job. When Brandon Vaade of Haskins Tree Care cut down my neighbor's poplar tree, they dragged the branches out through my yard. While doing so, they stripped off half of my 5 ft camellia, broke a clematis off at the base, broke numerous majors branches off 3 yew bushes, and broke off 4 ft of drainage pipe. They also did not clean up all the sawdust left on my deck and roof. I contacted Brandon about the damage, and the only request I made was that the camellia be replaced. He said he would order one. This was 3 months ago, and he is no longer responding to my emails. His company obviously has no regard for the care of property. read more

Brock Haskins and his crew did a superb job! We had a huge, very old Hemlock that was threatening 5 nearby houses (including ours) and we were very sad to see it go, but we had to take it out. I highly recommend Brock Haskins and his crew. This review is tardy as they did the work for us back in April of 2017 and I recently realized I never did a review. Brock and his crew were great to work with from start to finish. He came out promptly for a bid and his prices were competitive with the two competing bids we received. They showed up on the day and time they promised. They took down 11 trees, some of which were fairly large firs in close proximity to a shed and existing landscaping that we did not want damaged. As the trees were coming down the crew was chipping branches and cleaning up as they went along, leaving the logs behind as I had requested for me to cut and split into firewood. When they finished up at the end of the day the only evidence they were there were the logs and stumps (to be removed later by an excavator during the yard renovation), everything else was left cleaner than when they arrived. Found Brock @ Haskins Tree Care from a post on Nextdoor. I had previously requested a quote to have two large trees taken out from another firm, through recco. of a family member. When I met Brock for a second opinion, he said the initial quote was too high (the initial quote from elsewhere also included a 3rd tree we were not planning because otherwise it would be too difficult.) Brock immediately won the business by not exceeding my scope and meeting my desire to leave as many healthy trees in place as possible and doing the job in a very small space, with some very old, large trees (10ft overall ground clearance between property line w/neighbor structures and my house/sheds. Quote was very reasonable for the amount of work. Crew arrived on time, performed work (cool to watch, btw) without bothering me while working from home, Stayed until sundown to finish the job and cleaned up the jobsite, inc. neighbor's roof and yard.
