Brock's guys showed up on time, and in very short order had our tree down and the debris cleaned up!

Eastside Tree Works

Five stars, no question. I've lived in this house in Redmond for 25 years and have hired more tree…read morecompanies than I can count to manage the 30+ large trees on my property. Eastside Tree Works is, by a wide margin, the best of all of them. The experience started before they even did any work. The salesman who came out for the estimate showed up with an iPad, walked the entire property with me, took photos and video of each tree, tagged the ones we discussed, and had a detailed estimate ready before he left. He clearly knew what he was talking about and took real time to talk through what would work best for the trees and the house, not just push a generic package. When he found out I was a military veteran, he knocked a nice discount off the price without me even asking. The crew that came to do the work was just as impressive. A full team showed up with a large bucket lift and worked through limbing up several big Douglas firs, doing conifer cleaning, and taking down two medium-sized trees. They moved like a team that's worked together for years, communicated constantly, and checked in with me more than once while they were up in the trees to make sure they were limbing to the height I wanted rather than just guessing. When I mentioned my chainsaw had been giving me trouble, they took the time to fix it on the spot. What really sealed it was the cleanup. After 25 years of tree work at this house, I've never had a crew leave the property looking better than when they found it, but that's exactly what happened here. If you need tree work done in the Redmond/Eastside area, stop looking and call Eastside Tree Works. Professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and genuinely good people to have on your property. I would highly recommend them!

We opted to split the work between two companies who replied. Eastside Tree Works is one of the two companies; they were hired to crown-reduce/windsail/shape a flowering plum and a katsura tree. I waited to write the review to see how the trees recover and regrow. The quoting and initial process was very smooth and professional. Their response is fast for both the initial meet-up and providing the quote. Everything was done on their iPad, and quotes sent soon after. The task was also completed quickly. The task isn't significant, and they readily came and finished. The clean-up details are excellent. When done, I observed the flowering plum looked shapely but the katsura looked like a bad haircut. They agreed to come out and trim a stray branch that stuck out compared to the rest of the katsura crown. The katsura never regained a normal tree crown shape. It still looks like a bad haircut will a divot, v-shape at the top. See photo. The flowering plum is growing perfectly well this new spring season. Their cost is competitive.

We have worked with MTS Tree and Landscape multiple times over the years, and they have earned our…read morecomplete trust. Our first job was a major one: removing a very large tree--well over 100 feet tall--that was leaning toward our home. It was not an easy decision, as we loved that tree, but safety came first. The care, professionalism, and respect MTS showed throughout the process meant everything to us. The work was done safely and expertly, the cleanup was immaculate, and the crew treated the situation with genuine understanding. It was clear right away that this is not just a tree removal company--these are true arborists who deeply understand and respect the trees they work with. Years later, when our landscape needed attention again, MTS was the obvious choice. We had overgrown laurels we couldn't safely trim ourselves, neighboring trees contributing constant pine needles to our gutters, and several shrubs that needed proper pruning and reshaping. MTS sent an arborist to walk the property with us, listen carefully, explain our options, and help us prioritize the work within a realistic budget. There was no pressure--just knowledgeable, honest guidance. The crew that completed the work was outstanding: professional, articulate, thoughtful, and incredibly clean. They did all the pruning we discussed, answered our questions, and even offered species-specific advice--explaining how certain pruning choices would improve the long-term health and appearance of our plants rather than harm them. We plan to use MTS Tree and Landscape every couple of years for ongoing pruning and for all future tree and landscape needs. It is rare to find a company this skilled, respectful, and genuinely invested in their clients' property. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Devin and his team showed up on time, were incredibly friendly, worked fast, and were true professionals. They cut down a 100 ft. Hemlock and a 50 ft. We were in stop and go traffic on the Woodinville-Duvall road and he was behind me. I didn't go for 2 seconds so he honked. I waved to him. He then began yelling slurs and names out the window at me, flipping me off, and what was really scary was he was driving what looked like 3 inches my the back of my car. Every time we stopped he would scream that I was a "f---king b--ch". I am a teacher and was literally saying "I hope you have a good day!! We aren't going anywhere and you are being very aggressive! you need to stop!" What he didn't realize was that the name of the company "wizard" was in greenish blue letters on the side of the truck WITH a arborist trailer in the back. Anyway. If someone wants work done by someone with this character, then go for it. He is not a nice person and truly was acting irrational on the road. ***edited to add context: this was completely stopped. The car moved up about 5 feet ahead again within 2 seconds. This was not dangerous again because it was stand still traffic (see above that we were stopped long enough for me to hear you scream at me) regardless of me gesturing that the other car ahead of me ALREADY stopped by the time I moved up, you should never speak to the way you did especially with your business plastered across your truck.
