This company has a horrible reputation of maliciously and unnecessarily removing healthy trees and dangerously removing limbs with people standing underneath. Pacific Tree did a great job working our bid, scheduling, and tree work. They listened to our needs and tailored their bid to scale an appropriate scope for our budget. We appreciated that they made sure our septic system was not impacted by heavy equipment. They were efficient and professional as they removed a few trees and did a nice job cleaning up the worksite. Per our request, they turned a Douglas fir into a snag for a wildlife habitat feature and chipped onsite so we now have wonderful mulch for our fruit trees and landscaping. I am a tree lover and highly value important wildlife habitat. I was reluctant to remove any trees for years but finally decided to take out a few since we live in a log home and had several trees very close to the house. Pac Tree Management ignores community wishes and cuts down beautiful, healthy trees for scorched-earth building practices. They remove edge-lot and corner-lot trees that could easily be built around. We're talking large conifer trees that are irreplaceable. Icing on the cake is that they're rude and try to guilt-trip concerned neighbors. read more

They have removed many healthy trees around our neighborhood (some due to development). There's less shade now with the removal of these trees and the higher temperatures has made it hotter around here. Get a 3rd party, neutral, arborist if you're unsure of removing a tree that someone told you was dangerous. Never go with the first quote you get and don't fall for scare tactics. read more

Chad and his crew work with developers (Legacy in this case) that make a practice of exploiting the Seattle Tree Ordinance and taking advantage of families and real estate agents to remove beautiful, healthy legacy trees in Seattle. Chad's crew recently girdled two trees in Shoreline illegally prior to the permitted removal date in an attempt to stave off protestors. Chad also endangers the safety of people legally protesting on the public sidewalks sitting that his insurance will cover any costs incurred by his crew getting in the way of removal. Please consider another company. We are losing our tree canopy too fast, Chad should stick to removing trees that are diseased or damaged, not working with sleazy developers to cut down our trees when they can easily be saved without compromising the number or units or size of the home on the property. Please pressure Seattle to update their Tree Ordinance and close the loopholes allowing Chad who is in Monroe, to profit from the loss of our tree canopy in Seattle communities. read more

The crew did a GREAT job. We had a large cottonwood, alder, fir, and 4 Leyland cypress trees removed. Did the trees in one day and then came back the next day and completed the stump grinding for 7 stumps.
