I'm not a customer but somehow Parkview Landscaping made their way on to my property and carved up some 15 year old plants and 30 year old cedar bushes. Most likely the bushes will never recover. In the event they do, it will take years of growth to cover the gaping holes. Not only was it a mistake to jump so far over the property line (15' - 25') it is clear from the results of their work they had no idea what they were doing. Viewed from the street it is a real eye sore. To add insult to injury, they didn't even cleanup the clippings. read more

Parkview Landscaping and Ignacio's crew, along with Aimee in the office, have been a pleasured to work with. We moved into a new home at a very busy time for our family. I was able to easily communicate my ideas and they completed them beautifully. We started with cutting in lawn edges and moved to building a rock retaining wall and stream bed. Terrible service. The owner, Ben, does not respond to multiple attempts to contact him via email by both me and my husband. My husband finally spoke with him over the phone only when his guys showed up at our address mistakenly and his guys called him to clarify. Ben told my husband that he'd have his team come the very next day to work on our yard, but not only did they not show up... he's never responded to my husband's attempt to contact him. I can't fathom how he can run a business this way. The joke's going to be on him in the end though because what he doesn't know is that my husband is the President of the HOA so his lack of professionalism is very likely going to cost him our community's contract too. It is completely unacceptable to treat customers this way. Heck, it's unacceptable to treat prospects this way too and expect to have a long-term, viable business. I've been in sales/servicing for 24 years and can assure Ben that this stuff will catch up with him in due time. How hard is it, really, to respond to emails and do what you say you're going to do?! read more

This one time small business was a shining example of how an ambitious kid (this started as The Yard Boys), could start a business from scratch with high quality work and great customer service. Sadly all is now lost a decade plus later - my service stopped for continual damage to my property, unresponsive to email, texts, or phone calls, and questionable employees - not people I want around my family or home office. After 15 years or so, finally done with 4th, 5th, and 6th chances. read more

Their workers are knocking at people's doors without wearing a mask during this awful pandemic. I find this very disturbing and disrespectful. We hired them to do some work for us and they walked in our garage without a mask. They did maintain 6 ft away but I wish they would at least wear a mask when they knocked at our door. This would be the right thing to do. All the delivery people would put their masks on when they deliver a package near our door. I understand when they work on the yard they don't want to wear a mask which is fine, but when they knock at our door trying to talk to us, they should have the courtesy to put a mask on temporarily to keep each other safe. read more

I would not recommend these folks. They do not stand behind their work. My yard had some damage from a siding pallet that had been placed in the middle of the front yard. (Who does that?) I asked Parkview Landscaping to repair the holes and ruts caused by the pallets sitting on my grass. It was just the middle of the yard. Other than the damage my grass was thick and lush. After the work was done, my yard is patchy and thin throughout (mostly in areas that were not originally affected by the damage). I suspect that was in part due to the heavy thatching. The picture shows my yard looking like it has cancer. I followed all watering instructions and did my best to get the yard to fill in. Either the grass seed was not laid properly or was substandard at best. They made one attempt to fix the issue and it failed. They have refused to come out and try again and now my yard looks worse than when they first began. I will never use this company again and I recommend you do not either. read more

Not reliable. Paid for bi-weekly service and didn't always show up, but they still charged me. When I contacted management to let them know that no one showed up they didn't believe me and still charged me. I sent them pictures of my overgrown lawn and they sent someone to mow my lawn acharged me for an extra mowing service. I did email the company to let them know I will not pay for the extra mow and that I notified my credit card company to not pay more than the usual monthly charge for this company. When I let the company know that I would not pay until they sent me a corrected invoice, they terminated me as a customer. I only wanted to pay for services provided. I will find a more honest company to take care of my lawn. read more

We hired Parkview to landscape our backyard with patio pavers, a fire pit, and newly designed greenery surrounding the perimeter of our yard. Overall our experience with them was fantastic and we are very satisfied with the job they did. Benjamin worked closely with us to help us design a solution for our backyard that would meet our design ideas and budget. We went through several work-ups and he was patient with our often indecisive nature. Once we settled on a proposal, I was very confident that we were getting a well designed and cost-effective landscaping project. The team who performed the installation and landscaping was very friendly and respectful. I worked from home several days while they were working and I barely noticed they were there. When changes arose or we had questions they were very easy to talk to and we quickly came to a resolution. The final result is beautiful and just what we wanted. Benjamin's vision turned out to be the perfect solution to our mud pit of a lawn. I would definitely recommend this company and hire them again for our regular barking, landscaping, lawn-care needs. read more

I met with B. last March or perhaps it was February. We wanted regular maintenance done to our front yard, patio pavers for our back yard, and potentially ripping out the front yard to replace it with mulch, shrubs, etc. He told me it would take about a week for the quote. He seems like a really nice guy, but he never got back to me. I gave him 2 months and called him again. He apologized, said Monday we would have it - and never gave me the quote. Now several months later one of the crew men came by and blocked our entire cul de sac with his truck. I couldn't leave my home. He didn't seem to care. There is plenty of parking, yet he was too lazy to park across the street and not block the only entry and exit point of our homes. This company seems like they bit off more than they can chew and are painfully inconsiderate. read more

We have used Parkview for lawn mowing when we have been out of town. Prior to that I witnessed Benjamin and his crew when they were The Lawn Boys mowing yards all over Mill Creek. Prices are more than fair and they are very reliable, quick and do a great job. Benjamin is just a quality person as well. UPDATE: since this review we attempted to have Parkview mow our lawn while on a planned vacation and our neighbors tried to contact them for some lawn work on a regular basis. In both cases they were slow to get back to us and our neighbors. We ended up hiring a teen from our church and our neighbors hired someone else. I suspect that they are no longer interested in small jobs and are getting too big for that. I understand that and that's ok, but I have changed the rating to four stars for the slow response. read more

I love this company. Ben is terrific to work with and made it very easy on me! The team does an amazing job and always goes the extra mile. I have 2 acres. It's a lot of work, but their prices are reasonable and fair. I didn't think I could afford monthly maintenance of mowing and weed control but I can and I am loving it. I feel upset about their disturbing service. I just cleaned the side walk and sidewalk lawn, which we shared with our next door neighbor this afternoon. But after they cleaned our neighbor's driveway using a leaf blower just now, they swiped A LOT of dirt and leaves on both the sidewalk and grass, making lawn and sidewalk dirty AGAIN. Not only they did not clean our neighbor's side, but also left our side a TERRIBLE mess. I had to go out and clean them again. The best part, though, is that Benjamin is very knowledgeable about plants, locations, etc., so he will provide info about landscaping ideas as well as just doing the actual work. Reliable landcaping service with excellent customer service.

Overall I'm quite happy with the landscape project they completed for us. A little pricey (I would give a B grade for price and sometimes communications could've been better. Overall we like how things turned out and we stayed within our desired budget, which was huge! It was done in a timely and efficient manner. We were out of town for the completion of the project, but it got done nonetheless with little effort on our part. It was nice to not have to babysit or constantly call to get the project completed. The communication was great with the actual owner and crew--a little more material had to be ordered in the end, and they promptly got authorization from me and got it finished. Another thing I really liked was their willingness to work with our budget. On the estimate I could go in and tweak things to bring the cost down and accommodate the budget we were trying to work in. This is a GREAT feature and really helpful for the homeowner IMO. The main thing I think they need to work out is their office staff really "knowing" the business. This was the only issue I encountered, was getting an invoice for my records. An email wasn't answered and I had to call; that being said, once I spoke with her on the phone she got me the invoice quickly. However, there was a fair amount of confusion on her part which I think more experience and training could easily remedy. read more
