Jessica was very helpful in the assessment of what needed to be done and then scheduled the job to be completed that very week. We were home while the work took place and we're so impressed by their hard work, efficiency, and clean up. We wanted to keep some wood for ourselves and they were very happy to oblige. How to summarize this business as a whole. Outstanding! On time, super detailed bid, hard working, very well managed crew. My daughter and my son in law hired this outfit based upon next door reviews. Jessica is a hands on, no nonsense manager, likely the owner, who makes sure 100% the customer is satisfied. The large crew came and worked all day in the pouring rain. They cut down several enormous trees, trimmed other trees and shrubs, cleaned up all of the mess, they even leaf blew the street. I'd used Bruiser's once before for a tree limbing and was pleased with their service. So, on Saturday, when I heard that my giant Black Locust tree had blown down onto the power lines and was blocking the road, I looked up Bruiser's on my cell and called before I even arrived home to survey the damage. Fortunately the PUD guys showed up Saturday evening to free the lines and turn the neighborhood power back on. And, Bruiser's arrived bright and early Monday morning to clean up the tree. And boy did they! By afternoon you'd never know I had a tree. I wanted to write this review to praise Bruiser's for their super fast response, VERY reasonable prices (the other reviewers are clueless), and attention to detail. The lawn was immaculate! We hired Bruiser's to trim four dougla firs and remove two other trees. They are on time for the quote and the job. They contacted and confirmed again a day before the came Four people came the job. We left after they started working. When we got back from work, we saw all trees are nicely done. Not any mess left. They cleaned our yard and it looks even more lovely than before. Our firs are very tall they trimmed the branches to the height we wanted. I haven't use any other tree services before. Still, to me the over all experience good and I have not any dissatisfaction about the results. Michael talked very little when he went to our house for the quote. I was looking for a contractor to remove the huge pine tree in my front yard.Got 5 bids, Bruiser's pricing was hard to beat ! When I check Yelp, I saw some negative reviews here about Bruise';s but once I read them all , I figured out all of them was for the bidding process, so ignored I ignored ( I am glad I did ) Here are some points : - He is responsive to the calls and text messages - He showed up on time for site survey before the bidding and gave a copy of his insurance and a detailed price break down - He contacted me again 2 days after the bidding, asking about if I have any questions or anything he can clarify - They showed up 30 min late for the job ( traffic in 405 , understandable ) - His crew are decent people, so you do not need to worry about any complains from your neighbors ( I had this problem with one my neighbors, their contractors was basically trespassing every house in the neighborhood) - They definitely know what they are doing and they are very experienced. - They removed the tree, chipped the branches , remove the stump and remove the limbs in 7 hours. - Their cleaning services after the tree removal is really good, they did not leave any mess behind them ( which is very important to me ) I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a good contractor for their trees ! I cancelled their service because they insisted on doing the work when I was not able to be home. After acknowledging the cancellation they performed the work anyway and then demanded to be paid an amount that was not agreed upon. They left the site a mess and did not grind the stump much below the surface. If I provided service in this manner I would make sure the client wasn't home as well. They then followed up with rude and insulting emails after I agreed to pay the full amount they demanded for a service I did not want. Very unprofessional. I had a huge tree to cut down. It turned out to be a very expensive tree. Michael responded quickly and provided different options for me to save cost. His quote was very competitive. I liked his communication so far. After finalizing the quote and booking an appointment, something came up and I had to postpone this project due to my budget issue. I had a somewhat large pile of brush and rounds in my back yard that I wanted chipped. I contacted this company to get a quote for removal of this pile vs renting a chipper myself for about $120. Arrived promptly for quote. Was quoted $150. I pointed out that the rounds were off to the side and I didn't think there were any under the brush. They were going to be in everett doing a job on Friday and I was told around 10am. I tried to ask for a different time because I work nightshift at a hospital. After some hemming and hawing he agreed to around 4pm. Friday morning rolls around at 5am and I get an email saying that they would be at the house around 2pm, that's the "latest" they could do. I say fine and email back regarding leaving payment for the company. No reply, so I call. Talk to Michael. Paying with cash and ask for a receipt "we don't usually give receipts for cash payment, but ok". I thought that was pretty weird. Fast forward to about 5pm, outside looking at the job, all of the rounds are still there! After calling the company a couple of times, no answer, leaving a voicemail, no return call ever, I emailed. The responses I got were that "firewood is never chipped". Which I was not told, and it's not firewood to me, it's wood that I wanted chipped. I then expressed my frustration at the fact that I was under the impression that everything would be taken care of and that I had overpaid for an incomplete job. I was told the job was "completed as contracted" and then told that my "confusion" was probably because I work nightshift. "While it's possible, I think it unlikely you would ever have done it. It would have required some effort on your part." Overall, my frustration is that I feel like a job wasn't completed. I was never asked about rounds being chipped, which I thought would be included in this estimate. And the owner never even brought that up as potential to NOT be chipped. I don't do that on a daily bases. So, I'm pretty frustrated. Job: 2 stars for lack of communication about brush and rounds. From a "professional" that does this daily. Price: 1 star for overpricing and not fulfilling the customers request. Renting a chipper from a local store would have been cheaper. Professionalism: 1 star. I think it takes a lot to please a customer and this company could care less if the job was done how I wanted. They just wanted the money and still don't care that they have left a problem in my yard. I wouldn't use this overpriced company again, and I'd recommend that you either lay out EVERY specific you want completed prior to the job being done because you won't be asked. read more

I see a few negative reviews here about Brusier's Tree Service. All I can say is that they did a FANTASTIC JOB for me! I could not be happier. I had a VERY Big Tree that needed to come out. There were Several obstacles in the way including my house, neighbors house, decks & fencing, and Power lines. NO ONE, wanted the Job!!! (not even Michael :) but he took it anyway.) Out of the 10+ Tree Services I had out, most walked away without wanting the job, or couldn't do it. Those that did provide a bid were MILES above what he charged me. That is the honest truth. We hired Bruisers back in the Spring to come trim back a couple trees in our yard and completely cut down another. I'm not one to usually leave these reviews, but overall, we had a pretty bad experience. The team was very unprofessional. The guys were chain-smoking all day and leaving cigarette butts in our yard. When I went to go write the woman in charge a check before having to head out for a bit, she continued to sit on the phone in her truck for 20 minutes dealing with a personal matter instead of servicing her customer. They did a good job on the removal of the whole tree, but we were extremely disappointed with the outcome on the other trees. They cut back way more than they said they would during the walkthrough, basically cutting the tree up at our fence line instead of leaving some of the larger branches hanging over like we discussed. It looks completely ridiculous and our neighbors were also very unhappy (the tree trunk is on their property but largely hangs over onto our side). They didn't finish the job in one day so they said they would come back Monday. When they came back, our neighbors asked that they stopped cutting on the main tree. We understand why they no longer did any work on that one, but our quote also included them trimming back two other trees that they never ended up touching. My fiancé tried contacting them several times about having them come back to complete the job or give us some money back for the trees they didn't touch. They didn't respond to him and we never got resolution or money back. Would definitely not recommend. read more

I asked him a few questions about his bid...which he had invited. As you can see from his response, it was he that was rude and insulting to me. Now, to make matters worse, Tamara is accusing me of being friends with a competitor (I'm not) and helping him out.. I live in California and did not know ANY tree trimmers in Redmond. I had a large cedar tree removed and stump ground that took its crew of 4 over 14hrs. They were right on time as scheduled but spending more time than anticipated due to the tree size. They're very professional and precise with the right gears and machinery for any type of tree services. It was enjoyable to watch the crew bringing down and chopping the huge tree like cutting tofu. It was however quite a tough job and exhausting, but they clear the site after the cutting and grinding as standard procedure. Bruiser's Tree service was fabulous for us! We called and got an estimate in a couple days, and it was almost half as cheap as any other estimate we had. He came out and grounded 14 stumps. His machine was eating through our huge stumps with no problem. Unfortunately his belt broke, but he got a new one and was back out here the next weekend! All said and done, he promised if there was something he missed due to the amount of chips exposed he would come back for free to finish. We recently had a tractor out here to level and finish our yard and ran into some reminisce of 2 stumps. I called on a Thursday and he was back out here Saturday to fix the issue for free! We had a Yew tree in our backyard in our Ballard backyard that had taken over. I made several calls for estimates and they were all over the board! I decided on Bruiser's Tree Service. I felt the estimate was fair so I decided to go with their service. We were very pleased with everything overall. Mike actually showed up to estimate the job ( a rare find these days) and got back to us promptly with the bid. Mike, was very careful not to damage our wrought iron fencing and impressed concrete patio. The space was very tight and the Yew was very established.
